I liked this episode of the desk as well. And I think that what you're going to find is that the desk will end up getting more discussion than the shows. which isn't necessarily a bad thing since it's still discussion on all things OCW.

 

You all were critical of K.D. but honestly I think he should be commended. Maybe he wasn't "shooting" very well, but from a writing stand point it's gotten much better. His grammar is better, he's used more intelligent words, and I didn't have to read it a few times to understand it. So I think he's improving. Also I think it was K.D. shooting not so much Kelvin, but I could be wrong.

 

I don't think letting Hollywood back in was a bad thing, but I didn't really love how he returned from flaking to be put into a main event stable. Most people come back and face K.D. and curtain jerk. Though I remember his return entrance was very well done, so that was cool.

 

I agreed with Kent both times when he said that the I quit and last man standing matches are terrible match types for competitive game play.

 

Hairline is still in TNA as far as I know, which would make me even more weary about letting him back in, jumping ship doesn't exactly scream new leaf to me. Also, I think he'd get frustrated being back, because no one would work with him I'm sure and those that are real competition here wouldn't want to compete with him, so he wouldn't even really be "competing with the best".

 

I also thought that the tag match was just a little bit better than the main event this week.

 

And it wasn't expressly written out here as "Cody is boring", but it was implied and so I was hoping I could get some specific reasons as to why. I'd like to go into journalism and a career in writing, and while not necessarily fiction writing such as this, I don't want this to hinder me. So what is it? Is it the typical tone of my RP's, the word choice, the plots themselves?

I think that you are a good writer, but sometimes you take a while to get to where you're going (if you get there at all). Sometimes you can read a whole Cody RP and feel like you haven't learned anything new about the story/feud. If you work on that, you're golden.
