Seb. I have no issue with the finish. It was an impact move and by rule.

 

Preference I get that but he iis sitting there with no more reversals. Kass has finishers and Kass has kicked out of three finishers. Not like he was gifted with choice. It was mostly back and forth at some point you've got to decide is the continuation of this match going to end poorly for me? At that point. Yeah. It no longer looked good due to all the kick outs...so the visual enjoyment is over with. What's left? A victory. Kass looked strong. Seb got a victory.

Before i rant, just wanted to give a shout out to Majin, Kass, and Soph for that women’s tag match. Even people don't watch the entire match, i HIGHLY recommend the last 4 minutes. Gold.

 

I hope we see more Regan in the future.

 

I’m glad Cactus and Dustin finally got their match in.

 

B-Cena and Henry are finally coming home. Will they receive a welcoming fit for a hero, or a be met with another kick or spear. Things have changed in their time away. Will be interesting to see if they can keep their spots.

 

I looked at Ed and Pam as the ring broke. There was a pause, followed by ten minutes of laughter. I thought it was fitting seeing as how we don’t have many fatties on the roster. Not sure any of us expected the DQ, but, hey, it was something different that will surely get people talking.

 

Torn on Kass and seb. Good match, but would have preferred it end on a finisher or sig. But then again, we have people that would immediately tap on you on a non sub finisher, so it is what it is. At least the mushroom stomp looks vicious. Story wise, it's a HUGE win for Abbott and adds momentum to our match next weekend.

 

Strider and Bray...yea. No disrespect to what he’s done for the site / fed in the past, but i’m not even sure what the point was of dusting him for this tournament match. Dude stated he was not ready, and feeding him to Bray does the history of that veteran no good. If you wanted him to advance ‘that’ badly, just give him a pass. More on whatever this nonsense was later.

 

Skull 2, legitimately thought you had me at a few points after a good comeback on your part. Thank You for helping me salvage the first round. Much appreciated.

 

Blaine and Jack seem like a match made in hell.

 

As for Turmoil’s world title match feud, I only saw an RP from Malu. I hope i’m wrong. Will check again. If not, that’s a bummer. This match was gaining steam.

The Turmoil booking of this tournament is so biased, blatant, and sketchy that not even Marcia freaking Clark could fuck up the process of proving it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Boy, is the fix ever in.

 

When you go about adding seeds to a tournament, 1 and 2 are supposed to be on OPPOSITE ends of the bracket. Dennis and Ed were 1 and 2 respectively, meaning if we both hold up our end of the seeding, there would be a Lution rematch in the finals. But somehow, some way, even with labels, that got changed up.

 

You book Bray and Trance for round 1, when Trance both verbally stated and wrote that he was going away.

This was known during SAVAGE LANDS. There was no reason for him to be in if he couldn’t compete. He would either have to no show or just lose to the person he faced first round. Pugh has been gone for weeks and Mugen has the title, because Pugh is on vacation. Why couldn’t our show just have had the decency to do the same for Trance? Or why put him in at all? Either way, clear as day it was just an excuse to get dude to the next round.

 

On the flip side, fat ass 1 and fat ass 2 break the ring. I didn’t expect a bye, but instead, i’m given someone legit. Not complaining about that. I’m excited. We’re gonna do our thing Saturday night and he’ll either catch a knee to the face, or barely survive me with double red. But by pairing me with someone who could legitimately win it all, and pairing Bray with someone who is rustier than the car that Axton Bravo died in is kinda obvious at what is taking place.

 

Replacements should be legit for all slots, so the legitimacy of the tournament isn’t tarnished. Welp, too late for that. Maybe next year. More so than anything, I wanted this tournament to truly be a measuring stick for the PS4 and for the next guy to be placed in the upper echelon to have fought their way to the spot with no controversy. Something that our roster can see and have no choice but to just accept.

 

Take Riot for instance...who replaced Cobra? Kass. Not B more savage. Come one guys, at this point i have more confidence in Roger Goodell. (and that’s saying a lot because I live in New England)

This is pretty desperate, imo. Upsets happen. Let them. It serves our brand no purpose to push for a final that you desire. Let the competition make it happen. He had issues the last time because the push came out of nowhere and was forced. Giving him a rusty first round match helps him none, it only makes things worse. You guys could have put a rook in that has at least practiced more.

 

Not one member of the Convoy is in the tournament, and only one of them has even had a match. Yet TWO skulls were in the tournament. There were better options. These guys want matches. Nate Dunn would have been a perfect match for Bray. He damn near beat me a week ago.

 

This tournament was our chance at building excitement. FPR has harmed us sure, but at least we make attempts to improve while booking continues to get in their own way.

 

This is beyond frustrating and leaves me thankful that I purchased an Xbox. I could lose every Riot match in the future and would at least know I earned my spot for better or worse. The same cannot be said for those of us on Turmoil.

Doing things like leaving a open ending on a match that needs a definitive victor is like throwing shit on the floor and telling booker man it's a gem.

I think you hit the nail on the head with growing pains. Let's be honest, the tournament has been booked like a Vince Russo fever dream from the start. People move in and out, the brackets morphed overnight, now a guy enters randomly to test dennis. If this were a real, televised product that i paid money to watch id be livid. However, its an E-fed and shit happens. I think the staff is doing the best they can with what they have. I also think the final 4 is going to be an entertaining as all hell and I'm not too pissed over how we got to it. I'll say it again, it's an E-fed, shit happens.

 

As for the open ended match, I'll take my man getting knocked out to save that spot. Worth it. If the tourny wasn't slapdash from the beginning maybe I'd worry about the integrity of it and ask for a redo. However, its an E-fed and I think it fit right in.

 

Can somebody explain the wildcard round? Does the winner get back in, something else, or is it just filler content? Also, since the main event finish was screwy, which one of them is in the wildcard match next week? Both? Neither? Any clarification would rock.

 

In closing, if all of this leads to a Bray vs. Dennis finale then count me in. Don't know why two of the nicest freaking people on the site can't get along but I bet it'll make for an entertaining match if they put it all out there.

Also before any feelings get hurt I'm going to fall on my own sword here. I dropped the ball huge this week.I was in half the show and I didn't like most of it. I like the promo I wrote solo but the stuff with Ashley and Cactus feels like generic, walmart brand Gentleman Jack. I can't write with others yet. I gotta work on that a lot. Sorry for letting you folks down on that end!

We all make mistakes. We aren't polished yet by any means. Let's try to put the bs aside and put on a better one next week.
