On to the main event. Felt stuffy and congested, but i think we made a triple threat cage work. Sensation wanted three guys in a cage with no climbing out, so we did it. Would I have liked to dive outside the ring, or jump off the top of the cage? Sure. Absolutely.

 

For the most part I’d say shep got most of the spots in. I hit two really good knee strikes on the middle rope to Shep. Austin lee got bullied. It seemed like every time he was building momentum, shep or doug got flippy on him. With that said, I would have preferred to lose this going out swinging or hit the big 30th defense on a pay per view. But alas! We don’t always get what we want. When the show went off air, Dennis was cheered as he kissed TV Title and left it in the center of the ring. Tis in Lore now.

 

Anyway, It was a fun / at times annoying run and I’m proud of what ‘Pem’ and I were able to do with what was literally called the ‘storyline’ title from the owner and most people in ocw. Granted, i can’t blame them, the belt had a rocky start. I think we did a good job of making it a credible mid card title. Hell….the TV Title main evented two pay per views. Road to Glory last season, and of course...summercide in 2k16 (Malu <3).

 

Shout out to the contenders I had along the way, you guys helped make the belt matter. Especially people like h20 who allowed us to bloody up his father, or a HoF’er like Dupree who feuded for it to make it matter more, when he didn’t ‘need’ it. The battles with B17, Ding, Parker, Leon, Trance, Baker, Bray, and Seb at King of OCW won’t be forgotten. The best part about it all, the old old excuse of 'awww he did it on ps4' or 'eeeeh he did it on xbox' doesn't apply. Because it was done on both.

 

Some of the best advice i ever got in OCW (from Parker) was that once people run out of excuses, you've won.

 

I would have liked to go on and on….and on to see if i can reach two years in February. But even someone as entitled as me wants what is best for Turmoil. So the reign was going to end, win or lose. I didn’t ask, i’m just doing it. =P

 

Those interested in the TV Championship will ‘eventually’ have a new Champion to chase after. Just know that if my baby gets passed around from champ to champ, I ‘will’ come back and take it for another year.

 

It’s been fun! I leave you with one thing. Jay, thirty defenses will never happen again. You are lucky to have me <3
