Kassidy Hayes Posted April 7, 2018 Posted April 7, 2018 Actually... It's not covered or explained properly. The way the rule is written there doesn't even say you're allowed to actually tap someone out. However further down... You may use a Submission Finisher only after hitting a regular finisher. And what is a sub finisher? Another finishers ,its covered in the fact a pin fall after a impact must be attempted. The first attempt to finish the match can not b a sub. Its plain and simple you need to attempt a pinfall, there is no grey area to try and slide through. If this was the case rookies could have sub finishers. Reason they can't is the rule I posted, pinfall after impact finisher.

It’s a slip up that wouldn’t happen again from the handler. If there was any confusion there shouldn’t be. At least gotta try the pin. If the pin gets reversed like what happened in my match this week. You better hit another normal fin before going for the sub. 1 May 29 2005 - Present Took Dupree's Summer

Can we actually make the rules say what they're meant to instead of "Oh ho ho hi there's no grey area to slip through" when the rule isn't properly worded? He's hit a impact finisher, then he's went for a sub finisher which is in line with the way the rule is written. Just bloody fix it.

It's tiresome babysitting grown ass men, there are 13 years worth of Nate/Pugh/Dupree matches to learn from. If you haven't seen it in one of those matches don't do it. No matter how we seem to word things people will find a way around it. "You either die a hero or live long enough to become Nate Ortiz" - Drago Cesar "Let me make myself clear: you work for me. Someone that's been here for about as long as those people has made the mistake because of how it's written though. Surely just changing it to say what it's meant to say in this instance is actually useful?
Kassidy Hayes Posted April 7, 2018 Posted April 7, 2018 to me its written clear, impact finisher -> pinfall -> over/kick out -> another finisher, high impact, diving combo, etc and for the rule you posted, you may hit a sub finisher after a finisher, well what is the prerequisite of hitting a normal finisher? that you pin off it
Jacob Trance Posted April 7, 2018 Posted April 7, 2018 I strongly disagree, but if it's not worth the 20 second edit having things be clearer then have at it. Waste of time having this discussion. 1

Administrators Mr.Sensation Posted April 7, 2018 Administrators Posted April 7, 2018 Everyone Tranquilo, Por Favor. To provide some clarification. Both Trance and Kass are correct. At the start of the season I wanted to have the option of using a Submission to end a match. I got voted down so the compromise was you could end a match with a Sub as long as you hit an impact finisher. The thought behind this was your basically using 2 finishers and 2 potential reversals to end with a sub, or Sub Fin. The Problem was the line about pin attempt was taken about because I was referring to SUBMISSION FINISHERS. So in the Kassidy Statment the line above says pin attempt. The Line Below says Impact finisher and not mention of pin attempt. In closing I don't think Trance is looking for Grey Area as its plain as day, and I am sure Seth wasn't trying to skirt anything. The easiest and simplist way is to just add the line about" Pin Attempt." Side Note: At The start of the season I told the lot of you to please look over the handbook again as changes where made, some did some didn't. It's my fault for not bolding specific nuanced changes. I hope that clears everything up. Now please return to shoe discussion.
