Some quick notes, I can't possibly review everything in detail.

 

 

Bray’s RP was probably the best of the night, I really liked the angle and the way he pushed forward this whole mentor/disciple angle. Bray doesn't necessarily roleplay every single show but when he does, to be fair, there's almost always a very good kayfabe reason behind it and this RP it's a perfect example of that. Jackman is freaking gold, I swear. He nails the comedy heel gimmick like no one else.

 

As I told Belle before submitting the RP, I feel that format is the perfect balance between keeping a roleplay short and easy to digest, while at the same time pushing a storyline forward and saying something about your character. The Empress cameo at the end made her intention very clear: this rivalry it's not just about a spilled coffee.

 

I was indirectly involved in the making of the Terra x Moore RP, so I can't really review it. All I can say is that our intention was to blur the lines between face and heel alignment, with Valkyrie showing some evil sides of her and Ashley acting someway relatable. Idk if it worked but that was our idea.

 

I think MJF aka Maxwale has the potential of being a top heel of Riot, especially considering the lack of heels on the roster right now on the Xbox side. He is now more consistent with the role plays which is cool. His fighting style is unique and not easy to pull of effectively in a competitive environment, as I found out when playing as Alyssa.

 

TLB is getting a bit outshined by the Uncrowned but he is right there when we talk about rookies with potential. The character is just a weird mixture of things and gimmicks, but it works, it works in a way I can't even explain. It's not even a comedy heel, he is not the last blacksmith alive either. But he is our Blacksmith.

 

I feel like the Jehst/Capo storyline is gonna be affected by the lack of matches they actually compete on a weekly basis. Jehst wrestled once in the entire season, Capo twice. They are both amazing writers but it's not easy to keep the attention going without some in ring action. This injury angle has to cover up some sort of technical difficulties with Rudo’s PS4 if I understood correctly. I'm sure the two of you will pick up the pace once again when the time is right.

 

I would review Blaine’s RP but I'd probably lose half of my brain cells in the process, so no thank you.

 

Wrex proves he is capable of carrying a show, both RP wise and skill wise. He also proves why top players have to write (or at least try to) to stay in the main event scene successfully. I'm looking forward to see where this storyline goes.

 

Tre and Cobra found a way to hype up a random low card match between two face characters. Definitely not a easy thing to do. Golden Cobra tag team when? Nvm, Tre wants the Pride title like Cort, Shep, Telos, etc. Well, Cobra you can team up with Alyssa Winters if you want, I'll give you her number.

Cort with a very simple roleplay. He creates some hype around the matches. It's okay to do it once, after all this was an important episode and you should have been here.

 

Uncrowned proving why they are the hottest rookies in OCW right now. A LOT of attention to details in this storyline. Every RP has something to say, despite them being long compared to the average, they still keep you hooked. That said, I think CQC are also doing a very good job at being heels. The story told is very simple yet effective. The cameo from Our Hero was a nice touch, even though I read his lines with Jays podcast voice in my head and it makes the scene involuntary hilarious sometimes. The match itself might have disappointed you, but I'm sure the love you are getting from the fed will motivate you to keep up with the great work you are doing.

 

Drago vs H2O? I wasn't expecting this at all. At first I thought they were going to team up or it was just a random RP. Interested to see where this leads, nonetheless.

 

Tiberius Dupree is probably my favorite OCW legend, if we are not counting Loki of course. I like how the RP kinda blurred the lines between Discord banter and actual shows, with the “inactive and uninformed” joke. I'm sure the shows will benefit from the added starpower.

Code vs B17 was not their best matches I think, but still enjoyable. Code completely lost it, as all the guys in the last segment. Wtf just happened.

 

Oh and STILL YOUR OCW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS. Might as well wipe out all the divisions. We already did Riot.
