Stacy Clark Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 The 2nd week of judgment is upon us. I was anxious to see how CCW would compare to OCW's first RIOT and although the scores are pretty high, two of the five matches were Tag Matches. Unfortunately, I will not be keeping score of Tag Matches, as LotR is mainly for 1-on-1 competition. On the bright side, I will still keep track of Tag Matches and the winners/losers for record's sake. As Arnold would say, just before throwing a barbaric dagger into your wimpy wizard chest, "Enough talk." TURMOIL 1/15/2008 http://img292.imageshack.us/img292/8004/lotrturmoil11508hh5.png HIGH SCORE LORD: Nathan Gaines (495) - Some of you may be surprised to see Nathan Gaines as the high score lord, but the points don't lie. Perhaps Nathan needs to be put against other high ranking superstars to test his true grit. Part of the score has to do with the length of the match, which probably could have been ended on several occasions, but Gaines might have wanted to make a statement with letting it go the distance. Whether he will be as successful the next time around is yet to be seen, but who ever he faces next, probably doesn't want to underestimate Nathan's ability... as he could easily become another stepping stone on Nathan's upward journey to Main Eventing. Closest Match: RD Money vs. Seth Irving - Technically, this was a tie between mentioned winner and "Parker Stevens vs. Mugen". Both matches shared a 93 point difference, but by securing the pinfall over RD Money, Seth was able to close the gap by 30 points, thus breaking the tie in Sudden Death Overtime. Biggest Gap: Nathan Gaines vs. Vincent Valmont - Not really many matches to choose from... but congrats, once again, to Nathan Gaines for his 109 point lead over Vincent Valmont before pinfall. Honorable Mention: Chris "Spoonman" Mania - As I'm sure everyone knows by now, Chris Mania has abandoned the OCW ship and jumped aboard the SSCCW. This is a big acquisition for CCW as Chris Mania is a fan favorite who is also known for his record breaking NA Championship Title run. You have to ask him exactly how long he held the title, but I must warn you that the number gets higher every time he tells the story. I believe he's up to 827 days and I think he even tossed in some giants and fire breathing sheep into the mix. I know that some of you might be disappointed that "The Vindicator" didn't get Honorable Mention for his ground breaking Debut/Promo, or Rev Inc. for coming to the ring ripped and 86'd, but life isn't fair, kiddies.

Administrators Mr.Sensation Posted January 18, 2008 Administrators Posted January 18, 2008 Bump because I think people missed this since it was so god dam early in the morning. 15-06, 18:20 Tiberius Dupree make him tap with brownie mix "Booking Wrestling is the most thankless no-win position anyone could ever be in. Michael Morrison Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 Bump because I think people missed this since it was so god dam early in the morning. It would have been the first thing they saw on the main page if Pee Stee didn't steal my thunder with his dropping of the punk card. However, I am interested to see how the Hardcore Heavy Hitter does against the Extreme Rolling Jabber. *Roll, Jab, Roll* FTW.
Seth Irving Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 I think if a person is down in points and pulls off a win should get more then just the normal points for a win. Not saying just because happened in my match tho
Nate Ortiz Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 Again good job Mike this like the Madness Report is becoming somthing I look forward to weekly. Congrats to Gaines as well for getting the top score for CCW. I would be against getting more than the 30 points everyone gets for winning if they scored less than the person they beat. As the points are a combo who hits more attack and who reverses more. So rewarding someone for doing less than the other guy seems a little unfair. May 29 2005 - Present Took Dupree's Summer

I'm glad members are enjoying it. The reason I stopped doing the Madness Reports was because of the time it took to write and edit. The down side is that I really enjoyed reviewing matches and giving feedback/commentary, so now I get's to do's my thang again. As for the win bonus, Nate pretty much answered it. At one point I wasn't even going to have bonus win points, but I figured there would be those who manage to obtain a win, even if they weren't ahead on points, so it already acts as a bonus. Also, even though the ranks are based on skill points, it makes sense to give the winners a little something extra. This way, even if someone manages to get 300 points per match, another wrestler who does the same and gains more wins will have the advantage of sticking a little further out in the ranks.
