Way to up the ante before a PPV. Jay says it best that OCW really does know how to do a show before a PPV. Going to go through each segment and give my general recap/thoughts as usual.

We start with the Perfect Storm. The back to back shift camera work on the segment was cool. They swerved us all into believing there was a title match still when Doc came out and then Tony came out to make the picture clearer. Cannot wait for Uncrowned vs Perfect Storm at Animol House. Uncrowned gets the upper hand and the Perfect Storm retreats.

Another piece of gold writing from the GM team. Their back and forth bickering, plus the outlandish things they deal with on a weekly basis always make me chuckle. Everyone freaking out but Drago picking up and petting the Tarantula was very on brand for the entire dynamic. Love the PPV plug at the end. Overall enjoyed this segment tremendously.

A-Mart vs Mark Reese ended up being everything I expected from the match. A country ass whooping through and through. A-Mart did have different times where it felt like he mounted some offense, but the match overall had a one sided feel. Which works quite well with the way I believe they are trying to play this story out. Then Wrex attacked Mark Reese after the match, so my thoughts on the next logical step for Mark Reese are a bit confused at this point.

I love how the history of the GOAT Academy is shown here. The disdain that John and Chance have for one another has festered over a period due to what happened. Chance blaming John for what happened to the GOAT Academy and cutting a scathing promo on his foe. Vowing to take his championship, these two men are going to war later this evening. Bobbi interrupting and letting Chance know that Derek is hurt, they run over and signal for help. Will need to keep my eyes on what happens next here with Derek.

Pahlka Aadne vs Paul Boulet was a very short match that pitted two large men against one another. Boulet immediately tried to stretch his opponent out with a submission. Pahlka answered back with one of his own and then the match ensued. It looked early like Boulet might get the advantage but Pahlka shut the door on that quite quickly. Boulet fought hard but first a lariat and then a huge swinging Polish Hammer later he was down for the 3 count. Good match that did not overstay its welcome.

Devon and Ryvaughn talk, Devon apologizes to his partner for not being there. They are focused on Grit and Glory, the number one contenders to the OCW Tag Team Championships. Good segment where they continue to build the beef with G&G without interacting with the other team.

Belle and Marrisa had beef last week, but now they are on the same page it seems at first. They come out in some wonderful holiday themed gear. Nice dancing show until Flojo kicks Marissa into Belle. Starting the conflict that sees the women clearly draw sides. Ashley comes down to the ring as well and it is clear we have two camps. Rumble Bellas vs Flojo & Marissa. Liked the segment, confused by how it started but understood where it finished.

This segment starts with the 5 Star French Factory verbally destroying his opponent at Animol House. He goes on a for a bit until the scene cuts over to El Parca and Catorina in what appears to be a pool hall. They continue to affirm their love and support for one another. I incorrectly pinned Rust for stealing the championship last week when Parca was revealed to have it this week. Nice work by all involved in this triangle of championship rivals.

Deaver and B17 do some wonderful writing here illustrating the intriguing nature of their relationship. Deaver has always needed a daddy, it seems like Quartz didn’t want the job. However, whether he is being forced into it or not B17 seems to have a weird soft spot for him. Good writing by the duo, B17 really is a man’s man.

John cuts a quick promo on what he is going to do to Chance tonight and then Chance comes out. The match was very back and forth early, then John took an advantage on Chance early. Chance managed to come back and even things up in the middle portion of the match. Then even taking the advantage after hitting the Chance Kicks. The two men battled back and forth but Chance caught John twice before downing his foe. Really enjoyed this match, it was a higher paced match full of energy from both sides.

All I am going to say is Viktor Karmine is a disrespectful box loving freak. Good work Jake, you asshole. In all seriousness I laughed so hard at this segment. The get back has to be even better.

First I want to say, Jim Black’s teeth looked scary. C-Note and Claude trade a bunch of verbal heat that makes Jim Black extremely uncomfortable. Bringing down each other’s home towns and generally just talking a bunch of trash. I am not sure how they are going to continue doing this without

Claude being allowed back into a ring. Would love to see 2024 be the year these two get to mix it up.

Deborah vs Belle is coming up next. I really love the work Jake puts into making that entrance look great with the championship. The match was all Deborah early, and Belle fought valiantly throughout the entirety of the match. Deborah shows us why she is the Women’s World Champion and her claim that no one is on her level. I really enjoyed the match they put on, it screamed heel champion vs underdog baby up and comer. Great work to the ladies.

Dennis Dillinger has his crew together when Parca and Luis discuss his diet habits. Paul Boulet makes his way into the picture and insults the newly aligned group. Boulet spews insults at Luis including asking if he gets booked on PPV’s yet. Parca steps up and challenges Paul Boulet to a match at Animol House for all his tough talk. Boulet also tosses a towel at Chris Greene before insulting him. Good work on this one and love when different characters are given the ability to interact.

Speaking of Paul Boulet, the LOC Challenge is up next. He waits for someone to come out and face him. It is Paul Harris who comes down. He makes some remarks about being a Snake Pit graduate. Boulet locks him into the hold and puts 30 seconds on the clock. Boulet being cheap does not want to give up his money. Jynx comes into the picture and stomps him out. Jynx gets tossed from the ring, and Harris tells Boulet to keep his money. Good segment to all involved.

Horse tells Kassidy Hayes in the next segment he is moving past him forever when he beats him at Animol House. Horse for world champion is going to be my campaign for now. I think he has killed it this season with all the big matches he has been a winner in. Loved the words, need a small entrance next time.

Deborah cuts a post match promo on Belle, letting the audience know that she was indeed unworthy. She opines about her stardom and hoping that Belle learned her lesson. Debbie storms off after that and screaming in her midst. KISS at its finest.

The Kingu stuff was hilarious, I am having a hard time understanding the underlying feud that they are trying to sell here. Content is A+ though. The unique style of the presentation was also something I totally enjoyed. Do not love the loop hole thing, Jake is not really an active wrestler even if he competed before. You can work around the logic but I am going to enjoy this either way. I popped hard for Spider and want to see more.

Post match for Belle now and we are taken to real raw emotional moment. I appreciate what she did here because the human side of things are often left alone in OCW. Ashely cheers her up and again here comes FloJo to finalize the matchup. Nice bow on things ladies.

The International Title match was a rollercoaster of emotions for me. I am a firm Iceman supporter, but I also really love the character that Sheldon is. He has worked hard to have success in OCW and this match was no different. He dominated the Iceman on his way to being the youngest champion in OCW history again. Sheldon is setting up 2024 to be the year of Sheldon Tremblay.

Paul Harris gets sick in catering, couldn’t happen to a nicer and more hygienic guy. Is he going to be okay? The stuff he did in the bathroom looked unnatural. Looking forward to seeing where this goes next.

Dragan and Harper come out to announce that Ms. Cesar is going to have an open challenge for charity at Animol House. The screen cuts to a see you later graphic and that is all we are left with. Melon you have my intrigue, can’t wait to see what you have cooked up.

Mark Reese and El Parca end up meeting up. Parca congratulates Reese on his victory. Parca affirms that he continues to seek Aries not the title. They both aim at the same person but for different reasons. They reconcile the fact they can help each other if needed to. Great work.

Thanks to everyone in the main event for their performance. Awesome work everyone!
