  3. I know a guy who can put you out of your misery. Just say the word.
  4. New York, NY - Another injury to report. The Big man of Southern Dirty Cash Wade Walker has a pectoral injury. The extent is unknown at this point as he heads home to Alabama for tests. Another huge blow as we reported earlier Women's star Perl is undergoing evaluation for an injury as well. The holiday season has not been kind to OCW as some of the talent seem to be limping into the new year. As always keep tuned in here at Elite Wrestling Digest for all your injury news and updates.
  5. New York, NY - OCWFED is set to put on the Next Cup as their first show of the year. The field has been released but matchups are still to come on this one night tournament. Sources tell me however Perl is injured coming off a rough stretch after her loss to Deborah Soto at the Anniversary 21 FLE. Sources tell me that it is a knee injury and she is going in for evaluation at Mount Sinai Hospital. Tests will determine how long the high flying Digital Dime will be out. Initial speculations are she has torn her ACL and will be out indefinitely. Origin of the injury is believed to occur when Perl slipped trying to deliver a suicide dive to H20 during their main event mixed tag match a couple of weeks. The injury was aggravated during her match with Deborah. Perl headed home to California during the holiday break and was spotted wearing a heavy knee and moving around on crutches. With Perl's Next Cup status uncertain make sure to check back for more updates from the Elite Wrestling Digest.
  6. Take that shot at me and you best not miss.
  7. Tell that red fool, blue guy!
  8. A large crowd gathers on a brisk New York Saturday Morning. Men, Women, Children and everyone alike can be seen clamoring at an empty stage. A random child can be seen talking to his mother amongst the crowd. Child: Mom when is the ribbon being cut? We see a ribbon in front of a brand new state or the art industrial complex. Off in the distance a brand new arena can be seen dawning the neon green and purple lights that highlight it. The murmurs go quiet as a man in a blue suit walks up to the podium. He taps on the mic twice creating two quick booms through the loud PA System. Speaker: Good morning everyone. Thank you for joining us today. It is a big day for everyone here. We are here to unveil the most tech forward buildings and businesses you have ever seen. The crowd erupts into loud cheers. The speaker waits for them to calm down before continuing with the speech. Speaker: If you don’t know me I am Lou Jonas and I wanted to thank the person who made all of this happen. Eighteen months ago a professional wrestler had his headquarters burned down. Today we unveil his vision, a vision that will benefit the people of New York, soon the rest of the country and eventually the entire world. The crowd begins chanting “We love Lou”. Lou waits before addressing the raucous crowd again. Lou: We could not have done all of this without the DNS coin. The number one crypto currency in the world currently. Let me introduce to you the man who made this happen. He is the leader, owner, and founder of the DarkNET Society. BASH! The crowd begins to boo. Chants of H20 breakout. BASH waits patiently before grabbing the microphone off the podium to speak. BASH: I will make this quick. DNS coin has enabled these great advances. With a perfect combination of entertainment, technology, and science the best in the world will work and play here. You are on the ground floor of all the important work the Digital Revolution will do. BASH walks over to the ribbon, he grabs the ceremonial scissors and cuts the ribbon. Lou grabs the microphone from BASH and continues to address the crowd. BASH walks off the stage and he joins Belakor, Sheppard, Sammuel Omen and Pilgram who were standing nearby listening to the speech. The group heads over to a building with a big sign stating “Server Farm 2.0”. BASH: Finally the day has come where DNS business once again has a physical home. Let me show you around. BASH shows the group around the facility. There are multiple wrestling rings. A robot comes whizzing up to the group quickly catching all but BASH off guard. BASH: HTB was salvaged and rebuilt from the original Server Farm. He can help you train and get analysis on any potential opponents you may have. BASH leads the group to the conference room. They all have seats in various chairs. BASH begins addressing the group. BASH: Belakor it is nice to have you back in the fold. Sheppard your addition will fit nicely into the plans we have. Omen and Pilgram you have remained loyal at my side despite all of these traitors I have dealt with. BASH turns on a projector. BASH: As you see on the screen, each of you has a role to play in this operation. Success is the only option. DNS continues their discussion on the information shared via the projector as we fade away.
  9. Always love seeing Tibby make an appearance and if it is to McFuck on B17 that makes me even happier. Fun stuff to kick off the show. Interesting stuff from Cheryl in the written segment. Danny is alive and well it appears. Suing Omen is funny he has access to some wonderful lawyers courtesy of DNS, y'know the shady type. I am glad Cheryl made it clear she views now as her time and it isn't back on a nostalgia tour. HWG loves doing work in the parking lot. Can't say that Claudio hasn't deserved it. His shit talk is always great. He is anything but a conventional baby face but he makes it work. Love me a ball game chant. These two are on a crash course for a match at some point. Wrex is very to the point with his motivations during his written promo. Him being worried about his legacy is a new concept for me. He seems to be smarter than most people would give him credit for because the plan was executed well. Wrex is out for himself and himself only, the way it should be. What door did he walk through? El Parca framing his actions being for the fans gave me a good chuckle. Overall it painted the picture as to his overall dominance and the issues his challengers have. The continuous shots of El Parca over the entirety of his reign was a nice added touch. The Reese line also leaves me questioning why the change of heart at this point. But overall it conveyed the message I believe he was trying to send. I am going to say that this Scotty X segment has been discussed a lot. I do think he is venturing into a territory others currently do and have occupied in the past. I will give him the benefit of a doubt and let it play out. The production was a step up so kudos to Scotty on that as well. I want to see more Scotty X and what this story bring us. Devon and C-Note bring a different dynamic than the one we saw out of them previously. Devon trying to turn over a new leaf and not be the snitch anymore has also become a consistent theme week to week. Just two guys who didn't like each other and did the enemy of my enemy is my friend thing. Paul Harris smiling in the shadows is creepy as hell. Deborah showed out big time in her win against Ashely. I really enjoyed this match. Ashely did have one occurrence of walking backwards but it was minor in the grand scheme of things. The Queen has fallen a bit since she lost her title shot at Summercide. Deborah on the other hand has proven she still has what it takes to roll with the best. Good work to both. Show is starting soon so I will be back.
  10. As the champion of North America and it's defacto representative for this reason. I declare this to be false.
  11. BASH replied to Rayzah's topic in Promo Room!
@Alex Asher @Rayzah Count your days
  12. Nice promo and sick video. In the future hide the PSN/GT but that is minor. Really loved the way you put the whole thing together.
  13. BASH replied to Rayzah's topic in Promo Room!
Impactful stuff. Very intrigued to see where you are going.
  14. Pretty good first promo. Make sure to Bold your name on the speaking parts. I would stop leaning on past promotion history as it means nothing to me personally and many others in here. Calling out the champions is overly bold for this promo, please don’t expect it to go anywhere. Just keep working on stuff and you’ll get there.
  15. BASH replied to Rayzah's topic in Promo Room!
Enjoyed it overall. There are a few things formatting wise you need to work on. For Example. This is how I would have formatted the beginning of your RP. I enjoyed the writing. Just work on the formatting and you will be good to go. Nice stuff!
  16. It was a very good show that was extremely full of content. It’s been a while since I have tried to do a review but figured why not. (After finishing this, holy shit there was a lot to review) OCW even in the time I have been here has grown a lot in terms of the production standard and the bottom floor of our production if you will. So, congratulations to everyone because that is quite an accomplishment. There has been a Megan Suzuki sighting. I like the character and hope to see more of her. I am more interested in what we find out about Beatrix. She seems cold, confident, and calculated. Nice hype for the opening contest and will get to more about them on the match. Belle and Ashley have put together an extremely intriguing feud to this point. I am glad they are continuing to do this. Ashley as the heel was the instigator and had Belle on the backfoot for a while. It’s a nice reward to see Belle getting her back. Nicely done with the camera angle of Ashley at the end. Samsin has a good voice for his character and can writes some very nice promos. I won’t discuss the garbage spewed during this promo however. As we all know it’s not true and an unfounded accusation. Our first Marisaverse appearance of the night in an interview with Brian Williams. Her and Mad Dawg are giving some very toxic vibes here and Brian doesn’t help by hyping up the El Parca connection. Nice written segment that begins to further tensions in multiple directions. Nice match between Beatrixx and Megan. Beatrixx appeared to be in control most of the match. I will need my royalties for the “Bingo Died For My Sins” you hit on Megan FYI. Loved the Flojo cut in during the match. Beatrixx has an interesting blend traditional moves, more modern flashy moves and strike combos. I hope we see more of Megan, she has a good look and could be a nice baby face in this women’s division. On a personal note, it’s crazy to hear your voice open a video package and not be expecting it. Quartz is at an interesting place in his career, and this does a good job of illustrating his issues with B17. He has really made this a personal issue and loved vibe around the entire segment. Quartz seems to have a list and he’s crossing names off of it. I thought the Omen promo worked for what it needed to accomplish. He is getting better at video production and his presence is being felt. Nice to see Scotty X getting back into things. I wish him well and will continue once his webshow segment is up. John dressing like Jackmo was funny. Jackmo getting mad about it is funny as well. I liked the Make Ambition Great Again name but can understand why they dropped it. DARK MAGA is such a dumb idea that it fit well. Not sure about the name but I will give it time to grow on me. Marisa vignette, won’t say much. Short and sweet, Ry is super talented. Back with Scotty X he is reliving all of his past encounters with DNS and The Temple of Omen. The Wake up thing feels like some stuff I have seen Wrex do in the past. Not saying it is him but that left me wanting to know more. Not sure I love the empty pain killer angle, but if he rises above it and overcomes it’ll be a good story. I don’t normally comment on DNS stuff. However, I heard some commentary about him. Petr is filling a valuable role in DNS and I look forward to Baker getting a bit better on the sticks. Glad to see Belakor doing stuff to keep furthering himself even outside the DNS ecosystem. Jacob Hawk should probably watch his mouth. Should be interesting to see what these two come up with. Good work liked the still shot of Belakor near the end. Nice to see Christine making the rounds on the interview circuit. More on her later. I will cover the multipart Sherlock/Watson with the main event. Mad Dawg cuts a nice promo here and begins shedding his DNS aesthetic. Nice promo overall even if it was all bullshit. Nice short segment with Christine seeing Dragana. I like the way they’ve worked Christine into the Draganaverse. More to come on this. BAE BAE is huge man. I say that everytime he shows up on OCW TV. Jackmo and his ring rust were exposed here. John fought hard as any good face should. Nice length for a team match both teams worked quite well together. I would like to see some uniform gear from the Executive Order. Nice win for ClickBAE. Kass challenges Bolek to a match at End Games. A steel cage with no escape allowed. Guess they watched the Apocalypse match and said fuck that. Should be interesting to see if Bolek accepts the match. I like you sold out chants, and Quartz gear looks very nice. The daddy line build up was chefs kiss. Really enjoyed the aura of Quartz and they are building quite the interesting story here. The womens fatal 4 way match that would never end. I would cut it differently if we were cutting things. The Apocalypse match for me was a good learning experience regarding that. Sue plex showed out in her last match in the company. Big win for Skadi getting her some momentum. Bobbi’s gear was absolutely fire. Pugh working the rookies out at the combat center has finally had enough of this. He is back in business for himself only. I am very happy to see a more focused Paul Pugh if he stays out of my way. Pugh told them how he really felt about the situation. Segment was very well written and served the purpose. Very nice celebration segment for UE. Damn that thing was long. I am really starting to believe in them as a group. The hype video of all them was done a good recap of their short history. They deserved to have this celebration and I want to keep seeing big things. I would like to see the in game stuff cut in the future for a recap video like this. Just a small nitpick. We just talked about Skadi and her big win in that fatal four way. Now we have her addressing her last feud partner in Marisa. She still seems to have an axe to grind with the world champion. Nicely written and I like the “Storm is coming” stuff. Sheldon and Petie was my MOTN. Two guys who just really get what OCW is about. Lots of drama with long counts for people to get back into the ring. This match was so back and forth anyone could have won it at anytime. These guys also understand their characters strengths and how to play up to them. I loved the couple of near falls they had and was legit on the edge of my seat watching. Great work to both of these guys. Devon Flash is getting in his shit heel back and I am here for it. Who is not here for it is Nate “The Great” Ortiz. Told the young man he wasn’t ready to step into the ring with a legend. Monica big timing Devon was also hilarious. Nate saving her at the end with the “Come On” was also a very nice touch. Liking the direction I am seeing from Flash, and always appreciate the fact Nate is willing to mix it up with just about anyone. Marisa is so damn toxic and her relationship with Dawg is too. Dawg messed up leaving DNS for this strumpet. Also touching JCS isn’t the thing I would advise anyone to do. As always waiting for more of this trainwreck next week. Dragana is always trying to bring up new talent. Christine is no different in this respect. Her involvement in a feud with Dragana could serve to give her the momentum it did Junko. I like Bolek too, so I am happy he is getting this chance. Christine and her growth as a character in terms of her look has been nice. Sheldon shows up to give Luis Bishop a warning. I like the “You already went through one “Foster parent” and Parca won't be any better.” line. Sheldon is in an interesting place as he has clearly changed. I don’t think I buy that all the light has been let out of his heart. Luis is the type of character who fits in a group setting quite well. Good segment and I hope to see more between these two. A Larry Mugen sighting in our Quartz Inner Struggle video. Very nicely put together and this continues to add to my excitement for their encounter. Whenever that should end up being. The Mugen thread between B17 and Quartz should be noted as I think it will be a factor in some way. The Sherlock/Watson stuff was fucking hilarious. I am happy to take a joke at my expense and others did as well. Both guys leaned into their funny and less serious sides. I think they managed to balance these things quite well. Iceman is a taco mark so him getting distracted by those makes a lot of sense. It was a nice way to do a secret warz main event. Speaking of the main event Cold Front was ultra impressive after their respective losses at Clash. When this thing started I thought there was no chance for Cold Front and the early part of the match supported that theory. Iceman countering the Trouble in Tijuana right into the Icebreaker was a great way for this to end. The Nova appearance adds an extra layer to this. Sheldon showing up at the end to back Cold Front leaves me a lot of unanswered questions. I get he hates El Parca. Overall a fun main event and a good show. As always thanks to JCS and everyone who helps make these shows possible. Thank you if you read all of my rambling thoughts as well.
  17. I have appreciated the platform Ambition has given me personally. Getting to call matches with you as what would seemingly be your final Ambition commentary partner is cool man. You've given back to the community and that should be appreciated. I am a huge fan of you the person and Paul Pugh the character. Keep doing shit you enjoy and thank you for your service.
