Valk Bash Opener-

I enjoyed this tremendously, ALTHOUGH the "What" chants for Valkyrie kind of pissed me off (But from the stand point of why the fuck would the fans do that to valk) I know the handler is pretty selfless so it matters not. I've enjoyed the saga with Perl/DNS since its inception. It's simple its story telling it's pro wrestling. The outcome of this segment leaves a lot of questions for next week (this week)

Viktor Pre RP -
I appreciate the attempt not hating, but another rich rookie OH JOY! We need a Billionaire's club with OCW Talent cuz all of yall are just Mike Lowery!

 

DEAVER vs. Viktor Matt

Use smoke Rookie Pyro is a trope for a reason lmao.
Few FPR ISSUES here and there when a rookie does I'm not super upset by it cuz its Rookie being rookie. Joe's been here for a minute and as the match progressed I wanted Viktor to win just because Deaver was fighting like a bitch. And much like we / I said about the Ashley match. LOOK if your fighting a rookie you dont need to fucking load up 3 for a super fin or RATHER the amount of time it takes to get one rolling just cut it out. I am sure there will be some weird gas light excuse as to why but at the end of the day you been here long enough to figure it out. Match stunk but I was emotionally invested in rookie beating catering so I guess that story telling idk.

The Stacy Marisa Interview:
I enjoyed it a lot till I didn't then I hated it like don't attack staff. And the only reason I say this and try to hammer it home is because like all things in OCW once ppl see something is OK then it becomes this tidal wave it always happens. Then its the wild west again.  I prefer less is more so that things are impactful when they happen. If not then its more AEW / ATTITUDE era fancy shit just happens every week and no one remembers anything cuz everyone is doing it. IDK it's something to consider.

 

Wrestler's Court
Was a delight, and this is the most we have seen out of Megan lmao.

 

The Devon segment,
Fucking hilarious. Although if ppl are smart they will start to get the iggy. I've seen this a few times where "Something happens earlier" and then that person loses later on in the show. So be aware of that im conditioned to it so soon as I saw the promo im like "oh shit devon lost lmao" either way wonderful segment.

The C-Note Jynx Segment
Baring the GAFF with the ring footage was very well done. JynX has taken the criticism and has improved exponentially. I'm not big on title rematches, at all but this one makes sense I don't hate it hopefully the payoff delivers.

 

Marisa Gabriel:
Very well done thematically, concise, consistent, succinct and very humorous.

Rory vs Amart: RP and Match
Simple to the point, Match was very solid especially the ending sequence

Claudio doing claudio things
Lmao we learned nothing! Claudio has learned nothing! Return to form but it's not a security guy or staff member so the dude abides. Very pro wrestling. The Rory Claudio is a nice sleeper, I want this as a Ambition Main Event.

 

RopeBreak:

Great Summary of what took place. An informative as fuck. I love the mugshots shoulda made that the thumbnail. Also keeps the feud in the minds of the audience.

 

Junko v ClickBait:

Very fun match I had 3 matches I enjoyed, Rory v Amart, Main Event and this. ClickBait is fun to watch and Junko is proving to be a Solid Hand probably the standout rookie ATM. I need more CLICKBAIT but i know what it entails so chill.

Nova Time:

I like Nova's voice AI but the Spanish gets really fucking weird. ALSO this guy is a heavy npc (just got approved as of today). Know your position, we don't need 4 minutes of exposition 2 will suffice. "Mira Jon Carter, you're fucked"  would have got the point across. Less is more still good outing just a bit long. KNOW YOUR POSITION POPCORN PLAYA.

 

Extreme Tag - Cold Front vs DNS
Saw the run time got concerned as the match progressed got more concerned. I'm no longer mincing words with y'all Jake ain't here to save anyone!!!! This was very dogshit, the constant punching to break grapples, the rampant running, there was some cool spots but this looked and felt very much like a DM Punk "Fuck around DM" that happend to be recorded. But on the flip side I made it Extreme Rules so its my fault and I take full responsibility for that dog shit. I am sure if it was a standard tag match it would have worked out far better for everyone involved. Also Omen updating his gear its not there yet but the new colorway works the jeff hardy pants do not, but Rome wasn't built in a day.

 

Sheldon backstage
The Volume was a bit low, this could have also been a text RP. Less work (See Junko)

Tre Day
Didn't hate some establishment and narrative pushing, also I'm biased Tre actually doing content! So its a win!

 

Devon vs Jynx

I didn't have this as one of my fav matches of night but maybe I should have It was very down to the wire and both of these cats have improved exponentially. Fuck it add it to the list. This is more COMP than Style but they make it work because they play off each other really fun watch tbh. ok shit!

 

Cold Front Post Match

Despite being a shit show, the post match promo was 100% pro wrestling Both of these dudes can cut promo so nothing to say but great work.

 

CCW Title RP-

To the freaking point BEAT THE CLOCK! FUCK KASS

 

Parca Sheldon Video

The imagery was great! Showing the parallels was solid moved quick helped move the story a long with Sheldon's earlier RP!

 

Main Event - Dragana vs. Marisa
Marisa being a bag of shit in the segment prior had no baring on this match. This is my match of the night "I think" (was prolly Junko vs Click) Either way they played off each other quite well and there was a few instances where one would do a type a move then the other would gain advantage and do a similar move. Most notably was the rope lifting moves with Dragana using RAW POWER and Marisa using RAW FINESSE. The Sue interference led me to believe "OH BOY DRAGANA LOST" but nope thats how you circumvent expectations (take notes) Few near falls some high spots over all GOOD SHIT! The ending segment following was good pushed the Sue Dragana angle, and Show Marisa to once again be a bag of shit (She excelled at being a piece of shit to be honest)

 

----The Side Bar-----

I was a bit bummed we didn't get anyting from the international title scene between 4 diff handlers but They have been dropping stuff each week since early September so 1 week isn't going to kill me.

 

I like the rehabilitation that Sue Plex / Dragana have given the pride title in such a short amount of time.

 

My disappointment with the 2 new rookies either no showing or not doing stuff is immeasurable. That's a lie I am indifferent it be like that but the beauty of this place is you keep it moving and if needed just remove the dead weight shit or get off the pot.

I think thats all for me for now show was pretty decent, but the Tag Match, The Stacy Assault and the opener annoyed/pissed me off. Do better.

Entrance is still very a wip, but trying things out on different shows just see the reaction. 

 

The fpr is typically from a lack of training or being able to do anything in matches in dms too, since everyone is a reversal fiend, so it makes me very discouraged to play. 

 

Also because you mispell it a lot,

I think the biggest tip that needs to be suggested is that you need to determine how much effort you want to put into this before you ask for such things.

the only tip most of us have for you is to put in the effort. There’s examples of people not being great at the game and still getting into the hall of fame, but you need to embrace it instead of thinking it’s the be all end all.

 

Consistency is key. That’s the ocw hack.
