The one and only time I'll address you Kage....if you would pay attention, I'm fuckin' retired. You see me get booked lately? No. Pay more attention first before spouting off at the mouth.

 

You see me address you the last 2 months or even mention you? No. Forget I exist and don't talk to me or mention me. Don't even bother responding, because after this post, you're back on the ignore list. I though you might have had something important to say, but I see you haven't changed and just wanted to flame me unprovoked again.

 

Whatever your hatred is with me, either let it the fuck go, or get Jay to ban me.

Mayhem, I truely mean no offnse, but the reason you got 'burried' and people didn't want to fight you is because you were a very, very cheap fighter.

 

As far as competition > RPing to get into the ME, I also believe you are wrong. Yes, winning is important, but it is not the end all, be all. Not only do you have to win, you must do it fairly, AND you must be able to be a competent writer. Wins alone should never be the only criteria to get title shots or to move up the card. I know that if you can't write, I don't give a shit about your character.

 

Everyone here is competitive, some more than others, but we all are. It's the writing and winning fairly that sets the ME and title holders apart from the rest of the roster.

 

A matter of Opinion, but no offense taken.

 

This is just where we differ Steve, you know now these days I play by the rules and FPR fairly and try to be sporting for show but agressivel.

 

We had a talk with a differnt indavidual where you were glad to see some of these actions, right?

 

Other than that people put these titles in lockdown with thier storylines. Look at the OCW title for example, fighting Sensation... Seriously? A stunt, ok I got it. I didn't care for it I rather see Leon fight some one like Kang James, or another upper mid carder.

 

No one will move up if no one pulls people up who are reaching for the top with all thier will and might.

 

Yeah wins will only take you so far if you don't RP so often but there are people here who are a testament to average doings that have done better and RPed alot more who have gone un noticed who have stoped to do so because of being ignored by staff simply just not taking notice.

 

I RPed my ass off in 2k6 and ate Jobbers and rooks for lunch, stayed in upper-mid carder hell until the YTMND segment and a screw job from Quinn and QTC.

 

So hopefully times will change Steve with 09 for the better and the people who bust thier ass get recognition for it and even the agressive SOB who KO's someone then just walks away, I would mark. That's like syaing I'm better than you and I just prove it but your not worth the win because You deserve better. I used to do that but granted i would RP about it as well.

 

I see your points, but some people dont put the kind of effort into it if they don't see a reason to. Now we have to make these guys beleive they have some kind of pay off if they keep up the good work. Even the little guys who RP 1 time a month book him again maybe he will RP again & more in quantity as well as quality, ever consider that?

 

You can't count everyone out and just think that they will not do a good job when the oppertunity is presented it's self.

 

There are the people here who go and seeze the oppertunities and there are the ones who have to be told they are getting the oppertunity & yes sometimes you have to verbalize it to them. It's just human nature at that point. You cant exspect everyone to understand these unwritten guidelines and stipulations that can come up. Some times it just helps to be told.

now in the same manner or what Kage said... I remember Cross beating Majin and an uproar... I also remember Fausto beating Kage and the same uproar happening...

 

let's talk about competition on a serious note... 08 brought us competition where everyone could compete... and the ME got mixed in with the Mid-card and the low card because the lower guys played more and got better while the ME sat on their skills from previous games...

 

and competition wasn't welcomed at all... I remember huge threads and whining about the game and cheese and all that... so if we bring a ladder and the cheesy players start winning cause now they have incentive... then what??? what if they cheese an ME'er and win???? I don't want to see another 9 page discussion... I want the ME'er that got cheesed to suck it up and RP around it!!!

I'm not saying you're cheap now Mayhem, just back then in the time frame you were referencing, you were known as a cheap fighter...truth be told, that and a combination of alcohol was how my first flame war with you started way back when ( :p ).

 

I realize people need to move up the card, and there are a few that are probably deserving of the ME, but the problem is, we need to make the shows entertaining as well. A major angle, like Mr. Sensation winning the title IMO is a great, entertaining angle. Albeit, some people may be left out for a few months out of teh title hunt, but so be it. Way I see it, pro wretling isn't about pure wins/losses, and really neither should an e-fed. Yes, being very good at teh game is important, but sometimes it needs to take a backseat to entertainment.

Your Right Smythe and I'm not going to try to hop my way over and ask for a favor from a buddy or that buddy for any title shot.

 

I want to fight everyone, I want to prove that I am that good even when I am at the top.

 

I want to beat people that I haven't beaten even if that mean i have to take on the noobest guy in OCW.

 

FYI I didn't fallout due to a loss against Bold, regardless of how I lost the bottom line it's just a loss.

 

I fought Nick in 08 and we had came to a agreement of the match ending due to schedual diffaculties.

 

I beat a few other people but even I am human and forget.

 

If people step away from OCW for a bit and you say I go down to the bottom of the ladder fine w/e I'm cool with that. I know what I can do, now lets talk about everyone else who has stepped away for a majority of 08 are they going to walk back in at thier same spot.

 

Well that wouldnt be fair now would it. If anyone steps away then the too should be sent to the bottom of the barel to have to climb thier way back up have it be AJ phenoix, Nick, SideShow The Klown, Fausto, or RD$.

 

Just because the a few people have been here for evere doesnt mean we want to be exempt from the challenge of stopping another whole in a new proving ground.

You talking about the time when you and your crew used to say I was pulling the strings backstage, back when I was involved in a storyline with recon, then geo gave tyler the title shot, then you lost to sideshow giving him the title shot, then lost in KoOCW, all the while you were doing the show promos on me when in character we had nothing going on at that point? Back when you were the fast-fisting, stomp grappling, flatlining,push the ethical line to the limit guy you used to be?

 

No I wouldn't want to waist my time having to have a match with you knowing that's what i was going to get, horrible ethics, seeing you get yourself dq'ed, counted out, manipulate someone like Val to screw over Versus. No I would not want to deal with that. But had it been booked I wouldn't have cried, as when it happend it happened. When I finally shot back at you weren't to happy about it, if I remember correctly. You know how you were back then and to say you deserved a lot knowing how you used to be. If its booked, its booked and i just go about my bussiness.

 

On Getting to the ME without RP:

You can get to the ME without RPing often, look at me or rd as the examples for that. But you have to keep winning look at Seth he got there without doing the rps a lot. But once he lost the title he kinda went away for a while got back to the ME again then went away for a while. RPs help but you can get its just a longer road. The more you put in the more you're going to get out of it.

 

Now adays we have the INT title sitting with Kang and no one making a claim for it, in September we had Kang Trips and SDW/ KD in contenders matches 3 of which were good people to give the oppertunity to. People have to take the initiative as well. Look at Vega came returned as had had like 2 or 3 title shots already. That says some people aren't taking oppertunities when they are there for the taking.

JCS for the title was my idea and I'll take any heat going for it. But tell me, has he earned it? Is there anyone on the roster that could say "Jay, you get in line, you haven't earned shit." You show me someone that does that, and I'll show you someone who's gonna be lookin for an efed.

 

Bottom line is, Jay deserved a title shot after building us a home. Anyone that has a big problem with it, drop me a PM so I can print it out and wipe my ass with it.
