wait i hear tears coming from upstate new york let me speak up over the PMS strains i hear coming from the backwoods.

anyway.

sure i see the threads but they are few and far between and you know it.

also my point is GM's should not be swayed by the bias of superstars twoards others superstar.

I use steve as the prime example why? well because he is the worst case senerio when it comes to snobbing his nose at wreslters and picking and choosing who he wants to fight.

that shit is gay and no one is above anyone else when it comes to doing your matches and booking.

example nate would not fight baxter it makes no sense currently as nate is ME and baxter is well low end of the ladder but for example what if baxter was ME and if nate was booked against him then he should fight him no questions asked.

thats why steve and mayhem is a great example mayhem may have been MIA but once he comes back he can be ME again and in that case booking steve against mayhem would make perfect sense. But personal bias would prevent that the GM's override personal BIAS IMO.

in the end gm's need to communicate more.

they should book how they see fit

and superstars should not be able to pick and choose who they fight in regular none storyline matches.

this is not a after school program this is a league.

steve may be non-active and may not do this anymore but the examples i listed are what needs to not happen anymore.

and if a gm is told about a storyline it should be the gm's job as well to make sure the other gm's know about it as well thru pm or the booking section.

One thing i think is that GM's should probably give some input at times to those who are lost or not having any concrete plans. Case in point my last feud w/ Kage, when I had the title, I honestly was more or less lost for who to feud with after beating Malu at S2R 07, and I think it was Vimes who actually got us to start the feud. Me and Kage really didnt have much in terms of history, but it ended up being one of the best feuds of the year.

So, in a nutshell, GM's if you see potential in a feud, speak up! It would help those who are at a block for what to do, instead of making them subject to the cliched "Open Challenge" idea since they have nothing else

My God we have a discussion! I totally agree with Kage on the booking. I remember when I was booked against Mayhem in a you're fired match. I didn't bitch or moan or refuse to do the match. I just fuckin did it. Nova was a bad ass GM. Am I the only one who misses Animosity?
The world it just ain't right.

As far as wanting to return to the days where you "didn't know who was going to win" I don't see how those days have left us.

I played Kang and it was neck and neck but I just pulled it out.

I played Parker and it was neck and neck until I just pulled it out.

I played Bold (although this was never aired) and it was neck and neck when I pulled it out.

Pull-out, pull-out, pull-out...it's called a condom dude.

& to touch on what Kage said about picking & choosing, I don't care that much at this point, especially since he's winding down for the time being OCW career-wise, but it annoyed me when Steve said I had a permanent red flag on me due to being brought in by Bold, which is b.s.

You don't have to comment on shows & watch them if you don't want to, but if you want to judge someone, you should at least watch/read what they do so you can judge them on their own terms.

Truth be told Mace, I never wanted to fight you cause in the 2 or 3 DMs we were in, you cheesed me (it was early in your career).

The only mistake I recall is doing a ground grapple, then another one the next time you were on the ground & you called me on it (1st time I had been called on it as it was early in my career like you said so it was my 1st exposure to that rule). But then after I remember both of us agreeing that we had fun & they were competitive, so it would be nice to see happen on tv. That & why not just tell me you didn't want to fight me because for whatever reason I had rubbed you the wrong way in dm's? instead you said the aforementioned reason about Bold?

Also, I had had plenty of fair, fun, exciting, competitive tv matches readily available for viewing pleasure since then, so I guess I still don't understand the beef.

Being aligned with Bold was another reason. I wasn't lying when I said that. Your playstyle at the time (if I remember correctly) was eerily similar to Bold's.

The primary problem I had with my playstyle was during my early days. Because I was thrust into the feud w/Bold & put into tv matches w/o doing much dm's, I was incredibly noobish & didn't have a sense of showmanship. I was easy to beat & made rookie mistakes but luckily I corrected that fast & started winning w/some style, which I've developed to a much higher degree now & pride myself on it. The controversy you're probably referring to was my lution tag match, for which I recieved a strike.

But since then I've developed a much better reputation & have had one for some time, thus I don't know why you had thought that & refused to work with me about 2 months or so ago.
