It's a good move for Deano, especially now that he's trimmed down.

 

As for the show, I still haven't watched all the matches, but I finished reading all the RP's at work. I've started keeping track of certain "events" for record keeping, OWN and for the 2009 awards, and I already have a crap load of entries just from RIOT. This was a really good start for the 2009 era of change.

 

LEON - Leon is still head heel with the OCW Heavyweight Title around his waist and continues to talk smack, but it doesn't really look like anyone's getting in his face about it, other than Tiff and a dead guy. Could it be, that he's already gotten in everyone's head?

 

Perhaps with his mental breakdown during the show, others will see him as just human... or maybe they'll stay even further away from his pa-rif, because it's one thing to be a baaaad man, it's another to be an unstable baaaad man.

 

BLOODLINE - The group RP was fun, but far more difficult than back in the ToP days, considering the large array of personalities The Bloodline posseses. ToP was primarily made up of similar, distruction driven individuals, while with Bloodline, everyone's got their own thing going.

 

IRVING - I almost wish I came up with this gimmick, but I'm more than willing to see what Irving does with it. I know it's a contradictory statement, considering how his goals are to have no goals... so really, he intends to do nothing with it, if you think about it. Deep stuff.

 

SO POE - Although I enjoyed the RP, I've already watched the Dark Night... twice and I've been making suddle references on the boards for a while now, so it didn't have the same edge on me as it might have for some of the others who posted.

 

If anything, it fills my head with possible variations of "The Joker" character that one could create in CAW mode... which I'll probably spend hours doing once I get off work. I like coming up with odd face-paint designs.

 

JUSTIN ROX? - Some have already made a similar statement, but the character reminds me of the time Heaton was masquerading as Guy (Guyton) way back. The colors and mesh shirt... memories.

 

Anyways, a part of me really wants to like this character, but I have to admit that my Mad Spider Senses are tingling. I have a feeling the gimmick will burn out soon - that was a rock-n-roll pun, in case you were wondering. Then again, it's a good way to re-create yourself and if played right, it may lead to other things. Not bad.

 

SMYTHE D. WONDERING WHY - You know you're big-time when you can no-sell death and no one gives it a second thought, other than, "what took so long?" Smythe is stuck between a tombstone and a hard place, but the man that never dies did bring up some intriguing points.

 

There is a massive power struggle going on in OCW and no one wants to flip the off-switch, so eventually things are gonna get nasty. However, certain people have a clear advantage, thus why this "proposition" is so important. If Smythe decides to play ball, the tides could turn and new alliances could be formed and old bridges could be burned down faster than Nate's house. I don't even know how this is going to turn out and I'm in Bloodline for christs sake.

 

I-GEN - In all honesty, I expected I-Gen to fall apart right away in 2009. I saw everyone going their own way and maybe some more heel turns, but they appear to be in good spirits... for the most part.

 

Deano's lack of alcohol consumption during an all night binge is classic, while Nathan's race remains a riddle - reminds me of Super Troopers. They appear to have lost Vincent during the festivities, but I think he's just ducking me. Never figured him for a coward, but eh. Some might say Leon took him out, but I'm gonna stick with the coward theory.

 

VFM - By GAWD, Stoned Cold, Stoned Cold, Stond Cold! Yeah, I know the joke is played out, but I couldn't resist. Just when you think OCW's top smartass couldn't get any smartassier, he goes and opens his mouth. Let me return the favor and say, well played, sir.

 

Could it be that VFM has reached such a state of overness, that he can win 8 awards without even trying? Could it be that he'll sweep this year's award show by trying even less? I hope to god, not... because he'll eventually just take a shit; put his hat on it; teach it how to Dimebag Drop-a-bitch and say his turd is more talented than all of us. Well, I won't let VFTurd make a fool out of me! Oh hell no!

 

COOP - And still... undefeated WWE Champion.... Alex... Goof Troop... Coooooperrrrrrrrr! The belt is still around his waist and he still has allot of anger to displace. I'm just worried that he's eventually going to run out of tables and start putting Black through runway supermodels... because when they are bent over, they have four legs and a flat surface.... because they have no ass or tits... because they vomit everything... so yeah.

 

TRIPS - How long has Trips had short hair?
