Nate Ortiz Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 Nice to see Blade transitioning from the sleeping do nothing that he was all of last year. The RP between SDW and Leonchump was good. Always nice when RPs bring up history and these two have a lot of it. If they have any more matches after this though they will be close to the Nate Fausto level. I pray that the Tag Belts don't just drift away yet again. We really need to get more of these defenses going HC, Pride, Int, being on the line more would be nice. Props to whos working with KD its nice that its continued and he has somewhat of a direction. But yea still RD-Light. Need to see some in ring action from Vin and Gaines, good work though folks. Nice work but would like to see some stuff from the guys who did make it into the FI. It needs some build. Ryder's such a dick :D although he seems to be very focused tonight. He cuts one hell of a promo about Aries and starts to get the crowd heated up. No offense buddy, but I don't see Coach getting all that praise you speak of :). Really loving the heat you're building against Aries. Oh and Kip Conrad is one cool mother fucker! Triple threat match is up next. I hate this damn song! Eventhough I bought the Godzilla soundtrack, I still hate it. Kashmir for the win. I'm really digging Trips' look. Didn't like it at first but it's definitely growing on me. KD pulls off the turnbuckle pad just to get whipped into it by Trips lol. Trips was on his game, no pun intended, in this one. This is just me but I don't think top rope belly to belly suplexes should be done so early in a match. Kinda ruins the buildup for me. That's Firepro talking my bad. Nothing personal but I'd rather see Frank with a bad ass clothesline instead of that knee, just doesn't look right to me. These damn songs remind me of my teenage years :(. Frank starts to take the upper hand after a nice Russian Leg on Trips. Trips takes over once again, and when he's on his game he's one of the hardest people to deal with. KD really likes to run. I HATE that, especially in 3-4 ways. I would cut down on it just a bit if it were me. This match was ok for a 3 way. I'm gonna give it a 3 out of 5. Next up we got Judas Hallows backstage hanging out with with the janitors. The thrill seeker that he is, he decides to let them make an ungodly concoction for him to drink. Apparently Jacob Trance's pain pills were thrown in it and that pisses Trance right off. So now he wants to fight the Thrill Seeker! Page 2 We're backstage at the Bloodline's locker room and SDW and Wesley are watching one of my favorite movies of all time American Gangster. Neither one of you guys are half as bad ass as Frank Lucas by the way:cool:. He's a bad ass. Can't believe you let Sasha treat WW like that dude. You should be ashamed. Good to see she's got her eye on the prize though. Where's the rest of the Bloodline? So Sasha wants her boys to win back those tag titles. Wouldn't surprise me a bit if Wesley didn't snatch that little thing right up from under you Smythe. I think he's a glutton for punishment and it turns her on :D. Judas Hallows vs. Jacob Trance is up next. Mr. Hallows' theme is kinda catcy and it fits. More old ass music :(. This song is kinda cool but don't put it in a match damnit! Hallows nails an elbow drop and does the Steiner taunt only to have Trance go for a dropkick straight to the face which was reversed. I was hoping he'd hit it lol. Shortly after that Trance reverses an irish whip and hits a nice corner clothesline followed up by a dropkick to the face. Very nice spot there. Trance gets busted open early on with a knee to the face. Hallows hits the shooting star and gets Trance's body red. Pretty decent match here. Not gonna spoil it, but I lol'd at the bulldong on the ref and the missed moonsault. 3.5 out of 5 Queerbate! Trips is confident. Page 3 Next up my old buddy Gaines is found backstage, and if I know him he's gonna be in trouble. The song that plays in that video is tight. Who is it? Nice little altercation between you two. Well not nice for Gainesy but nice entertainment. Next up is the OCW Tag Team Championship match. Love the Wonder's theme. Ryder has one of my favorite intros in OCW. Ryder's going in to this one 1 on 2 or so we thought! Surprise, surprise. Won't spoil. Just watch it. I marked. I really enjoyed this one. Can't go into much detail, but it was pretty back and forth towards the end. I thought ______ had it wrapped up but I was wrong. Gonna give this one a 4 out of 5. I'm speechless at Blade's rp. Probably one of the best I've ever read. It's one of those that you really feel the person's thoughts and pain. Major props to both of you guys. I have really enjoyed what you've done with this. I for one cannot wait to see VFM/Blade at Lution. It is without a doubt the most anticipated match for me. Well besides Seth/Mayhem :p. Another nice return video. I really loved the beginning of this one. Reminded me alot of Jericho's old titantron. Props for whoever did it. KD is backstage talking to Sean and "The Mystery Man" about the outcome of his match from earlier in the night. Who is this guy? Apparently he knows his shit though and he keeps Sean and KD from making out lol j/k. Page 4 Main event time! I'm happy as hell to see Valmont make it to where he is right now. This dude has busted his ass and deserves to face THE FRANCHIZE. Who has the best intro in OCW by far! Wars is the only theme that can replace Rapture. Period. Next to Seth of course :D. This match was pretty damn good. Was pretty much back and forth until the last few minutes. Loved kickout toward the end of the match and the music change haha. VV is a damn beast! Love the attire too. I'm thinking seriously about giving MMW a type of tights or something. The jeans are just getting old. There's one spot where VV hits the snake eyes in the corner, punches Nate into the ropes, Nate reverses VV's grapple and sends him over the ropes, and then Nate goes airborne. Pretty nice spot there. 3.5 out of 5 There's a page 5 too! I'm not gonna give anything away here, but let me just say for those of you that think Leon vs. SDW is a lame main event for Lution, you'll change your mind after this. I'm looking forward to it! The world it just ain't right.

As it was discussed in the Turmoil thread there isn't a huge storyline driving it but the fact that this is going to be very competetive is the only thing it needs. However my money is places firmly on Leon, with a 3 - 0 record it makes it hard not to. Blades gone stir crazy. I'm looking forward to there match at Lution. Valmont has been rising through the ranks at an alarming rate. Tearing through the OCW roster like milk soaked bread. It was only a matter of time before he was thrown to the big dogs to see how he could handle himself. And thrown he is, against Nate. Possibly the biggest dog in this mother fucker. But this is no squash match the juice monkey that used to lick the boots of Double A and Brad Bauer holds his ground... well. *Spot of the match* Nate reverses a corner grapple then throws VV head first into the metal post of the turnbuckle. A dazed Valmont turns right into the path of a freight train-like spear. Ouch VV. This is a huge match for both men. VV is trying to prove he belongs up there with the main eventers and Nates tying to prove he is still THE main eventer. That's probably since KD doesn't give his own theme too the people that are recording. Don't think he changes his theme on his own all the time. Can't believe that.
