Administrators Mr.Sensation Posted October 5, 2009 Administrators Posted October 5, 2009 Welp its about that time. I updated the domains which means its officially been 5 years. Grats on another milestone kids. This year in particular has been at least to say a roller coaster. Guys coming and going the creation of OCF. The new slim roster, the old guard all but terminated. But in these times a resurgence has began to rear its head. And it is my hope that when the time is right we will once again reach our promise land. I got some stuff up my sleeve so here is to 2010. 15-06, 18:20 Tiberius Dupree make him tap with brownie mix "Booking Wrestling is the most thankless no-win position anyone could ever be in. Jacob Trance Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Does the stuff up your sleeve actually involve people actively advertising the place on IGN, Gamespot etc? Because I've seen a lot of noob feds with resemblances of FPR racking up members whilst we get no one as the people we DO get interested wait forever to get into the fed itself, then they get an account, then they do some more waiting.
Greatness Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 2010... 2010. The surge is here and the will is here as well. I envision great things coming from 2010 as it will be a great season to be in OCW. Sensation got plans, but as usual (Because of my swagger) mine are Greater. :) See you 10/20/09. Racking up members and them actually being quality member are 2 different things. We had the doors open and all we acquired was a bunch of deadweight with the exclusion of 1 or 2 people. 15-06, 18:20 Tiberius Dupree make him tap with brownie mix "Booking Wrestling is the most thankless no-win position anyone could ever be in. Nathan Gaines Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 I agree with Sensation here....I know we haven't had an influx of new talent here but I feel like advertising would bring a lot of deadweight and useless members and that's the lat thing that is needed here. LocoNY911: I hate you with every fiber of my being just looking at your name makes me want to strike my monitor
Jacob Trance Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 We already have our own deadweight at the moment, we have empty divisions and are closing off titles and divisions.
Greatness Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 I agree with Trance here. Deadweight and jobbers should be allowed because at the very least they'll be entertaining for a week or two. Which is why I never understood why the doors don't stay open like they used to. Though it's comparing apples and oranges who's to say Nate, myself, or other dedicated players would have came here with this new system? Any exposure is good exposure. Iceberg LeTuce Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 If the doors are open again wont Jozzy Fucknugget be able to get back in?
Greatness Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 If the doors are open again wont Jozzy Fucknugget be able to get back in? I laughed very hard right there. And he could possibly get back in, but who cares? He's been a jobber every since he got here. He plotted a destruction and still failed at OCW's weakest point. His competence level will not allow him to complete the registration form anyway. No matter what happens trash will always be trash. And like I said before, we need jobbers. Jobbers are fun to watch get dealt with.
