Actually the way I saw the booking:

 

Over the last month it was meant to indicate that Mayhem has always had a cult following from the fans. Screwing up my timing on the last Riot before the PPV kinda fucked with it. Even when Mayhem is a heel, he has his followers. Despite me being the face, I acted like a total douchebag to Mayhem the entire feud. I was the one who started shit. I was the one who abused power to even get a contenders match. I was the squirmy little weasel. People were suppose to want to see Mayhem finally get his hands on Guy after Guy played the total wuss. It wasn't really me ever getting vengeance on Mayhem - it was Mayhem trying to get vengeance on me. Essentially, it was to make Mayhem a tweener of sorts.

 

On top of that, Smythe, the eternally hateable, kept trying to but in. Mayhem constantly made it clear he doesn't want Smythe's help and accepts it begrudgingly at best. Smythe, is of course, all for Smythe and has been seething since Mayhem fucked him out of his title match.

 

For an analogy: It's like if The Miz attacked Kane. Kane, despite currently being a heel, and a more dominant one, would be met as the face due to his cult following and that the Miz is fucking hateable and everyone wants him to die in a fire.

 

...Weak analogy since Kane's alignment depends on his mood in the morning, but the same could be applied to Mayhem and it would make a bit of sense.

EDIT: Regarding the Main Event, since when does face/face and heel/heel heat matter in OCW? You're contradicting yourself Trance, since you and Hostile are both Heels.

Anyway D-Jack and Djones had a nice match but the ending stunk.The reason I say because that ending is for feuds.

Bax you Dane showed why you guys are such good friends.You guys I mean wow!

I knew Valmont was gonna be here.

EX match was a bit long and I didn't like the ending.

I want to see those guys in a rematch for the TV title.

I thought Hostile and Trance would be better but still a good match.
