The kickout limit thing is a little stupid also. Say you've just been screwed out of your title and you're facing the guy that screwed you over. I expect you to kick out 4/5/6 times. You're full of fucking rage.

 

Work with the damn game on kickouts. I've had TWO people kick out of my finishers and one was only because I used it really early on. People can fluke lots of kick outs. But if someone is kicking out of your finisher all the time then you're doing something wrong.

I marked out both you guys.As I have said Aries idea about kickouts for different match types is freakin golden.It makes too much sense.Resil won't even matter for those cledales who have it.

Smythe makes plenty good sense about subs as fin. instead of sigs.

As far as tylering I know myself,Mayhem ,D-jack,Jook and Bax are against it (may be more).

And last I know this may not sit well with some ppl but yeah classes need to be assigned(sorry).That's how I feel,just want a good clean life for our brothers.

Classes need to be asigned, tyler should be banned and submissions should only be finishers(I'm willing to get rid of the dragon sleeper).

 

If we're honest though. The submission thing is purely symbolic. All it does is give you an extra chance to counter the sub. If someone hits their sig then the finisher generally follows. So instead of Sig = sub win. It'd be sig + finisher = sub win. Not much of a difference.

I still don't see a problem with submission sigs or finishers if you just stamp a rule on it. As I've said if you don't immediately crank back the sub, its easy to escape.

 

AS for your sub sig > finisher arguement, Trevor..I kind of see where you going, but if the person escapes said sub sig, he is on the offensive. But if you're one of those defensive players, that wait until the person attempts his finisher to attack, then that's your own fault. Personally, if I escaped someone's sub sig, I would attack them...not right away, because of the animation, and its gayness, but after, I would attack.

 

Just stamp a rule onto submission moves, and you're pretty much guaranteed an escape...especially if you have a higher submission stat than the person applying the sub.

 

Now, do I think subs suck? Yes, but its only because the struggle submission system is complete bollocks. Do I think its a shitty way to win? Yes, I do, which is why I try not finish off of a sub, unless that person either kicks out of everything, or if its something timed, and they kick out of everything. But, you have to make due with what the game gives you.

 

You're saying work with the game on kick outs. Well, then work with the game on submissions. I mean, sometimes, its ok to work AGAINST IT. You and plenty of other people have problems with submission sigs or finishers moreso than kick outs.

 

As for the kick out thing...I can see your point, but this is the reason for storylined matches. I understand not everyone likes them, but they serve a purpose. If you're working with the person who beat you for a title, do the real match, take some footage from that, and plug it in with a storyline driven match.

There are a few interesting points, but allot of it to be frank comes down to whining. Everyone will have a different perspective on what "They feel" is proper for a match.
