CROSS EXAMINATION

RIOT AWARDS

**********************************************

 

So I started out the Cross Examination as a show review since nobody else was doing one at the time, but now since people have stepped up and began commenting, there's no reason to repeat what others have posted. So I bring you the Cross Examination Show Awards. Here I will highlight my favorite moments of the show top matches and RPs and whatever else I feel like. These awards mean nothing just a way for me to add to the show discussion.

 

TOP 5 MOMENTS

 

Number Five: "I Hate Dave Xavier...Even More!"

Yep Dave Xavier makes the top five as mush as I hate to include him, with that stupid suck up All American entrance. Dane is a sad, sad, man, desperate for attention, desperate to be loved, but unfortunately it will never happen. He comes out waving the American flag and to sum up my feelings, simply made me feel a little bit sick, actually a lot sick. Uncle Dane is the last guy you want representing your country. It was a perfect entrance, for a not so perfect individual. Then he gets an OCW magazine cover?!? *BARF* Touche Dane, well played, and congratulations I now hate you even more. Didn't think it was possible. In all seriousness, Dane's character is being played perfect. Keep it up.

 

Number Four: "The Monster meets The Vampire"

It was a simple run in, a weird conversation, and a perfect match. The Monster and The Vampire a team. Following their run in backstage Crowe would later go on to help Mayhem out to defeat KD. I give the combo a thumbs up. Mayhem and Crowe's new found partnership is sure to deliver the strange OCW could use. Just don't get on either ones dark side.

 

Number Three: "Wrong path to Cross, Rook"

Yep, got my own segment on the list. Deal. Here I am thinking I'll be the only one to make use of the the story designer for Riot and boom, just about everyone did. Which made this Riot so interesting and entertaining, however, now can we still be creative and not repetitive. I believe we can, things will just need to be taken to the next level or settled by pure competition. Anways, I don't know if Cody Storm was just dumb or stupid, but he made a rookie mistake. Period. We also found out that Mr. Sensation has never liked Cross. This made me sad.

Number Two: "SBomber IN-THE-HOUSE! ...and now he's gone"

 

Sensation ripping into Smythe was pure GOLD!!! I couldn't have expressed my feelings toward Smythe any better. Some vintage ownage by the bossman that just keeps going and going. Smythe is suspended and fined $10,000...$20,000...$30,000!...$40,000!!! Lesson learned, never interrupt the man in charge. Good stuff.

Number One: "All hell breaks loose"

 

The ending to Trevor and Dane was awesome, great editing. Not only did it serve to continue the on going feud between Trevor and Crowe, but now we got Dane and Le'Tuce. The build to it was also solid. You got Trevor listening in on Mayhem and Crowe, then you got the run in between Le'Tuce (Sup?) and Dane, good stuff braugh. Then all hell breaks loose. Got me locked in on both feuds now.

 

RP of the Night: TIE between Aries and Valmont/Dane and Le'Tuce

 

Two guys that are really getting under my skin, Valmont and Dane. Job well done, it's been awhile since two characters have really garnered my dislike. I like the direction both are taking, and the day Aries mans up and turns on Valmont will be glorious. Dane in denial of owing Le'Tuce some $$$ for one of his chicks, yep I'm siding with Grand Master Sup?, PAY UP Dane-O!

 

Honorable Mention:

Shirtless Sensation image: Unprofessional or straight Toolish? ...I never liked you either.

 

 

That concludes the first Cross Examination Riot Awards. Future shows may be more elaborate, may be shorter, or may not have one. I do what I feelz like. Overall kick ass show, some great feud starters, keep it rolling.

Riot was AWESOME this week..some great matches.

 

Trance doing the job was unexpected

 

Dane vs Trevor was excellent, then ending was nicely done and furthers the stories.

 

Uncle dane rp was nice, Dane is such a creepy little bastard, on here and IRL, but it works as a gimmick..keep sucking up, but rememebr to floss.

 

I'm digging this angle of Valmont holding something over Aries..we all know its gonna be his woman, or a secret kid or something.

 

Cross is back...and PISSED.

 

Smythe suspended.

 

Jookie/Baxter was nice.

 

KD getting screwed by Crowe, Crowe joining Mayhem.....

 

Casey Paine...enough said!

I haven't read any other reviews or comments for that matter, so I apologize if I repeat things that have already been said. Having said that, here are some quick hits.

 

 

- Aries, you have a wickedly clean intro theme, you’ve defeated the monster that is Mayhem in a truly epic fashion by using your FI contract… but you look so sad with that title on your shoulder. Why so sad, panda bear?

 

- Oh… Valmont is a dick… that’s why the sad panda.

 

- LAWL… go ahead, JUMP!

 

- Love the first page, lovin’ the VV Aries angle so far.

 

- Cross can talk without moving his lips… he just has to scream and somehow words are formed.

 

- When I read Mayhem’s RP’s, I envision a metal opera; where all the characters sing their parts in a theatrical way… like OCW meets Dethklok or something. And yes, it’s incredibly epic.

 

- Does affirmative action work with Future Investments?

 

- 2011 Move to Look Out For: Hammerlock.

 

- Hostility will try to kill the metal… will the Precious Metal strike them down? Obvious rivals await a not-so-obvious outcome. \m/

 

- Gotholocalypse plans on pulling the tried-n-true sneak attack, but the Blonde Scotsman sees it coming. Honestly… who plans a sneak attack with their locker-room door open? And I find it amusing how Trev “walks” away after hearing such dastardly plans… it looked like he was going to a tea party or something. The caption should have read, “Fa Lala Lala.”

 

- Citizen Fausto actually sounds like the title of a deep Oscar winning movie or something. Like Citizen Cain meets Faust.

 

- Well at least it’s not the cover of Playgirl.

 

- Dolla, dolla, ho, y’all. Apparently, Jasmine (allegedly) used to take strange men to a whole new world… a new, fantastic point of view… no one to tell them no or where to go… or say they’re only dreaming.

 

- IT’S OVER 40,000! Mr. J goes atomic on the man once known as S. Bomber… dropping such words as “fraud” and “louse”. Oh yeah, he went there. Kudos on the Kanye and The Greek reference.

 

- Poopies… now I’m craving Chinese food. I don’t think Golden Woc is open at this hour… DAMNIT! Such good sweet-n-sour chicken. They make their own fresh sauce and it’s so good that I often wish my wife’s vagina tasted… *light bulb*

 

- Do all the roster members just hang outside other member’s locker-rooms, listening in? Jesus, man, it’s called personal space, jackasses. Give me 50 feet, please.

 

- It’s funny… I still find the pirate gag amusing. Somehow it just seems fitting and right, despite my logic censors stating otherwise. If the Caribbean crew manages to get the Tag Titles in the near future, they would be holding allot of booty… I mean gold... I don’t want to picture them… holding booty... *shivers*

 

- Trading blows all the way to the back.

 

- Flame Retardent… greatest tag team name ever created by mere mortals. Sorry, Precious Metal.

 

- Calamity ensues with collateral damage. While Eminem spits fire, sneak attacks backfire. The pimp hand is strong but it all went wrong. Crowe goes with the flow but ends up with nothing to show… for it. OK, that last one kinda sucked, but you have to admit the first 3 statements were pretty clever.

 

- A small Storm attempts to knock over a big Cross. My interest <--- You have it.

 

- Casey is back and introduces a new client. Alright, so I want to put this out there… is it weird that I sometimes wish Casey was real and possibly, maybe, hypothetically thought about her in the shower once? You know what… just forget I brought it up. Welcome back Casey… you cunt. Ooooooo Yeaaaaaah!
