  2. Not the Iceman... this is the shittiest Christmas ever!
  3. Way to up the ante before a PPV. Jay says it best that OCW really does know how to do a show before a PPV. Going to go through each segment and give my general recap/thoughts as usual. We start with the Perfect Storm. The back to back shift camera work on the segment was cool. They swerved us all into believing there was a title match still when Doc came out and then Tony came out to make the picture clearer. Cannot wait for Uncrowned vs Perfect Storm at Animol House. Uncrowned gets the upper hand and the Perfect Storm retreats. Another piece of gold writing from the GM team. Their back and forth bickering, plus the outlandish things they deal with on a weekly basis always make me chuckle. Everyone freaking out but Drago picking up and petting the Tarantula was very on brand for the entire dynamic. Love the PPV plug at the end. Overall enjoyed this segment tremendously. A-Mart vs Mark Reese ended up being everything I expected from the match. A country ass whooping through and through. A-Mart did have different times where it felt like he mounted some offense, but the match overall had a one sided feel. Which works quite well with the way I believe they are trying to play this story out. Then Wrex attacked Mark Reese after the match, so my thoughts on the next logical step for Mark Reese are a bit confused at this point. I love how the history of the GOAT Academy is shown here. The disdain that John and Chance have for one another has festered over a period due to what happened. Chance blaming John for what happened to the GOAT Academy and cutting a scathing promo on his foe. Vowing to take his championship, these two men are going to war later this evening. Bobbi interrupting and letting Chance know that Derek is hurt, they run over and signal for help. Will need to keep my eyes on what happens next here with Derek. Pahlka Aadne vs Paul Boulet was a very short match that pitted two large men against one another. Boulet immediately tried to stretch his opponent out with a submission. Pahlka answered back with one of his own and then the match ensued. It looked early like Boulet might get the advantage but Pahlka shut the door on that quite quickly. Boulet fought hard but first a lariat and then a huge swinging Polish Hammer later he was down for the 3 count. Good match that did not overstay its welcome. Devon and Ryvaughn talk, Devon apologizes to his partner for not being there. They are focused on Grit and Glory, the number one contenders to the OCW Tag Team Championships. Good segment where they continue to build the beef with G&G without interacting with the other team. Belle and Marrisa had beef last week, but now they are on the same page it seems at first. They come out in some wonderful holiday themed gear. Nice dancing show until Flojo kicks Marissa into Belle. Starting the conflict that sees the women clearly draw sides. Ashley comes down to the ring as well and it is clear we have two camps. Rumble Bellas vs Flojo & Marissa. Liked the segment, confused by how it started but understood where it finished. This segment starts with the 5 Star French Factory verbally destroying his opponent at Animol House. He goes on a for a bit until the scene cuts over to El Parca and Catorina in what appears to be a pool hall. They continue to affirm their love and support for one another. I incorrectly pinned Rust for stealing the championship last week when Parca was revealed to have it this week. Nice work by all involved in this triangle of championship rivals. Deaver and B17 do some wonderful writing here illustrating the intriguing nature of their relationship. Deaver has always needed a daddy, it seems like Quartz didn’t want the job. However, whether he is being forced into it or not B17 seems to have a weird soft spot for him. Good writing by the duo, B17 really is a man’s man. John cuts a quick promo on what he is going to do to Chance tonight and then Chance comes out. The match was very back and forth early, then John took an advantage on Chance early. Chance managed to come back and even things up in the middle portion of the match. Then even taking the advantage after hitting the Chance Kicks. The two men battled back and forth but Chance caught John twice before downing his foe. Really enjoyed this match, it was a higher paced match full of energy from both sides. All I am going to say is Viktor Karmine is a disrespectful box loving freak. Good work Jake, you asshole. In all seriousness I laughed so hard at this segment. The get back has to be even better. First I want to say, Jim Black’s teeth looked scary. C-Note and Claude trade a bunch of verbal heat that makes Jim Black extremely uncomfortable. Bringing down each other’s home towns and generally just talking a bunch of trash. I am not sure how they are going to continue doing this without Claude being allowed back into a ring. Would love to see 2024 be the year these two get to mix it up. Deborah vs Belle is coming up next. I really love the work Jake puts into making that entrance look great with the championship. The match was all Deborah early, and Belle fought valiantly throughout the entirety of the match. Deborah shows us why she is the Women’s World Champion and her claim that no one is on her level. I really enjoyed the match they put on, it screamed heel champion vs underdog baby up and comer. Great work to the ladies. Dennis Dillinger has his crew together when Parca and Luis discuss his diet habits. Paul Boulet makes his way into the picture and insults the newly aligned group. Boulet spews insults at Luis including asking if he gets booked on PPV’s yet. Parca steps up and challenges Paul Boulet to a match at Animol House for all his tough talk. Boulet also tosses a towel at Chris Greene before insulting him. Good work on this one and love when different characters are given the ability to interact. Speaking of Paul Boulet, the LOC Challenge is up next. He waits for someone to come out and face him. It is Paul Harris who comes down. He makes some remarks about being a Snake Pit graduate. Boulet locks him into the hold and puts 30 seconds on the clock. Boulet being cheap does not want to give up his money. Jynx comes into the picture and stomps him out. Jynx gets tossed from the ring, and Harris tells Boulet to keep his money. Good segment to all involved. Horse tells Kassidy Hayes in the next segment he is moving past him forever when he beats him at Animol House. Horse for world champion is going to be my campaign for now. I think he has killed it this season with all the big matches he has been a winner in. Loved the words, need a small entrance next time. Deborah cuts a post match promo on Belle, letting the audience know that she was indeed unworthy. She opines about her stardom and hoping that Belle learned her lesson. Debbie storms off after that and screaming in her midst. KISS at its finest. The Kingu stuff was hilarious, I am having a hard time understanding the underlying feud that they are trying to sell here. Content is A+ though. The unique style of the presentation was also something I totally enjoyed. Do not love the loop hole thing, Jake is not really an active wrestler even if he competed before. You can work around the logic but I am going to enjoy this either way. I popped hard for Spider and want to see more. Post match for Belle now and we are taken to real raw emotional moment. I appreciate what she did here because the human side of things are often left alone in OCW. Ashely cheers her up and again here comes FloJo to finalize the matchup. Nice bow on things ladies. The International Title match was a rollercoaster of emotions for me. I am a firm Iceman supporter, but I also really love the character that Sheldon is. He has worked hard to have success in OCW and this match was no different. He dominated the Iceman on his way to being the youngest champion in OCW history again. Sheldon is setting up 2024 to be the year of Sheldon Tremblay. Paul Harris gets sick in catering, couldn’t happen to a nicer and more hygienic guy. Is he going to be okay? The stuff he did in the bathroom looked unnatural. Looking forward to seeing where this goes next. Dragan and Harper come out to announce that Ms. Cesar is going to have an open challenge for charity at Animol House. The screen cuts to a see you later graphic and that is all we are left with. Melon you have my intrigue, can’t wait to see what you have cooked up. Mark Reese and El Parca end up meeting up. Parca congratulates Reese on his victory. Parca affirms that he continues to seek Aries not the title. They both aim at the same person but for different reasons. They reconcile the fact they can help each other if needed to. Great work. Thanks to everyone in the main event for their performance. Awesome work everyone!
  4. Thought this was one of the best episodes of the season personally. Lots of great action, segments video and written. Great work by the community and let’s keep raising the bar. Kareem starts off by confusing me a bit as to what his intentions are and who he was talking to in the shower presumably. Will have to wait and see how this portion develops, as I have always been a fan of Kareem content. AJM and Shianne have good chemistry in these written segments. AJM playing the woman who does things with honor and Shianne the mean girl. Their weird tension but bond over the fact AJM has a match with Sue Plex. EMP potentially being interested in AJM with her association already to Dragana makes this very intriguing to watch unfold. Owen and Sheldon keep teasing a physical confrontation. I love the fact that both did voice promos. They are both so cool, calm, and collected when talking. Would love to see a little more emotion, but the content and context of the promo was spot on. Aries interruption telling both that they are unworthy of him made sense. Has me wondering where the OCW World Title is going with all these potential challengers Aries has riled up. Nice quick match between Sue Plex and AJM. Sue took control early unleashing a flurry of offense on AJM to start. However, AJM recovered nicely and about the mid-way point it looked like anyone’s match. AJM ended up taking home the victory in a pretty good match. Paul Boulet has a fun written segment where Jim Black gets after him quite a bit. The Canadian Exchange rate joke made me laugh. Cameraman intimidation seems really on brand for Paul Boulet. What the former North American Champions next move is, and how he rebounds from losing to Karmine is the next question. Claude returns after the brick attack at Hard Target, was not a fan of it at the time. With that being stated I did like the promo from tonight addressing the attack and what Claude remembers leading up to it. I would have liked to see more emphasis on the recovery from such a gruesome, frankly criminal attack. Where Claude and C-Note take this from here shall be interesting. FI sitting over the head of C-Note with limited time left to use it. The continued building of the relationship of Derek Smith, Chance Williams and Bobbi Baddi warms my heart as a viewer each week. This group does it right and they feel like the tightest knit unit in all OCW. Bobbi in her aggressive yet playful attacks on Chance, the back-and-forth ribbing Derek and Chance gave each other over film study all felt very genuine. I want to try some of Bobbi’s magnificent food, who can hook me up? Mark Reese calling out Anthony Martin was a decent segment. I did like the aching beaver tooth reference it made him feel as country as I perceive him to be. A Mart playing the role of the tough guy is an interesting departure from earlier this season. I think most fans would see his threats as hollow and they are looking for conclusions. Reese offers conclusions by telling Martin they will meet in a steel cage on Riot 614. Let’s see if GSS can get involved on Martin’s behalf or if he gets fed to the corn-fed country boy Mark Reese. The Cockbyrne’s are letting us in on a well-kept secret up until now. Their long-storied lineage in the wrestling business. Some might even call the Cockbyrne’s the first family of wrestling with all that they have given to the sport. The back and forth between the brothers is witty, different, and extremely funny. Recounting the time they lost the Southern Tag Titles and Stuart asking about how stunning he looks. I want more Cockbyrne on my screen every week. Ryvaughn vs Derek was a bit surprising for me. I thought Ryvaughn held the advantage for much of the match. The match was ran quite long for these big men and in the end Ryvaughn downed Derek in their one on one rematch of the previous tag team number one contenders match. I am a fan of both wrestlers movesets for the most part. I think Ryvaughn could have a better finisher for him but good work to all involved. Cody Hagen is in the hospital room of Furiosa who is still recovering from the events of Hard Target. Cody clearly feels a connection to Furiosa as he mentions how he feels their paths are so alike. I wish Cody provided a little more context to the things he says about relationships, success, and failures on his end. Cody professing his respect and admiration for Furiosa despite his disdain for Kasstianity is interesting. I feel like he is on this arc of trying to save Heather. Cody slyly getting the nurse to take him out was interesting and I want to know if more will come of that. Marissa slaps the absolute shit out of Belle when Belle goes to approach her from behind. Claiming she is paranoid about House of Faith. Ashley and Flojo show up on the scene, with some back and forth. Flojo threatens to slam Belle’s head into the mat. Marissa walks off and I believe it was a simple yet effective segment for some interaction between these ladies. I am really wondering what Flojo has planned for that FI. Paul Boulet and C-Note have an encounter prior to their match. They trade insults, the Side Show Bob quip popped me hard here. I also personally love him being told DNS ran him out of Ambition. I think I need a Loc Challenge with C-Note in the future. These two wrote a very nice piece that hyped up a match later on the card. Really appreciate the effort when people go the extra mile to promote the matches, they are booked in. Screaming man makes an appearance. Harper and Dragana make their way to Kassidy Hayes, in search of answers for these messages they have been getting. Kass hitting the Dragana heart eyes was cool. Kass is hinting at a transformation, and I am here for it. Kingu is called the to COO’s office after his ruthless assault on Jake Allen. Drago seems upset Jake specifically was attacked. I love the Spider texting about Kingu’s legacy line. Drago hits Kingu with the indefinite suspension. He leaves it like he is going to do something else to Jake. I want to see what more this angle is going to provide. Parca and Bishop doing some team building with Dennis to smooth over what seems to a cold relationship between his two clients. They intended to handle the DNS issue after Luis and his previous partner Cody Hagen failed to do so. Bishop is the more trusting of the two and Parca seems to be upset with Dennis for blindsiding him with Bishop. However, it seems things are good at the end as Parca jokes about Dennis and his ass being on the line. Amazing story telling and character building. Paul Boulet vs C-Note was a fun match, with Boulet started by stretching his opponent early. Match was back and forth early on, C-Note took a decisive advantage a few minutes in. Boulet battled back but the outcome was never really much in doubt. I love Boulet’s heel ring psychology, the stuff he does seems to have a purpose. Great win by C-Note and I want to see where the French Canadian goes from here. Enjoyed the Grit & Glory / Future Idiots segment. Derek going after John for having fun was interesting. They harken back to their GOAT Academy days and the things get ugly as stones about the demise of GOAT Academy are thrown. Ready to see these two teams go to war. Rust comes out and cuts a scathing hot promo on H20 and how he does not live up to Quartz. Aries interrupts him surprisingly and lays down the challenge. Aries vs Rust at Animol House for the OCW World Championship. Aries is trying to topple former champions as he looks towards the legacy of his title reign and what it will mean long term. EMP has returned! Finally freed from that hell hole jail. Love the idea of EMP being totally ignored and the rest of the team going on business as usual. The blocked jokes and EMP cussing out Tibby at the end and kicking Spider in the face was on brand. Welcome back EMP. Uh apparently Karmine wants him some of DNS after Mad Dawg broke up his title match with Aisu. BASH name drop was interesting. I felt like I was watching this on video when I read it. Can’t overstate how excellent the writing was here. Being blunt I am not sure Karmine is ready for that DNS or BASH smoke. These Deobrah segments are amazing. She is tearing the down the rest of the women’s division in a way that is hilarious and uplifting to the overall the stature of the title she carries. They have been really funny and the disgust Deborah shows with Belle and Ashley when they come out to hype up their match on Riot. Good segment overall. Kingu appears to challenge Jake Allen to a match at the anniversary show. Nice presentation, and totally unique. H20 calls out Doc and seems real bitter in the process of doing so. Doc does answer the call and questions his former teammates actions. Quartz interjects and gives this whole speech about how much he respects Doc before the double cross ensues and double super kicks follow. I like the idea of H20 and Doc again, Doc beat him up good at Lution in that Hell in a Cell match. I hope we get this match. Aries lost his title. Which of his many potential challengers stole it? Was it someone in GSS potentially? Aries is clearly freaked out, if I had to put my money on someone it would be Rust. We will have to wait and see on Riot this week if we are to learn more. Great main event, Telos brought his A game, but Horse was able to adapt and overcome the big man. The double horse stomps are such a cool unique thing to him, just a finisher that seems to stack so well. Telos seems like he is on the cusp of doing huge things in OCW. Speaking of huge things in OCW I think it is high time Aries introduced another challenger to his mix. The Last Blacksmith. Thank you for reading all of this, and keep up the amazing work!
  5. I feel like this week show raised the bar a bit. Enjoyed everything on the show. Don’t normally comment on DNS segments but I will say I enjoyed the camera work for a text promo. Scotty X and Stunning Stuart Cockbryne was a pretty good match throughout. An FPR break in the middle of it soured an otherwise solid match. I am excited personally to see what the Cockbryne family has in store for OCW. Luis Bishop and Dennis Dillinger have had me intrigued since the moment I personally found out about all of this. This feels like a real personality shift for Luis, he also seems very confident about taking care of his issues with DNS so he can move on. Deborah in the last couple of months for me as a newer viewer has really taken center stage and control of the women’s division. After Marissa failed to get it done, you have to wonder who is going to step up and we are being told we find out next week on Turmoil. I really want to know who is going to work with Emilia next. Loved the short video, it leaves me wanting more. The Storm hasn’t been so perfect for Quartz and H20 lately. Seems like there is a lot of jealousy regarding Rust Cohle, H20 visiting EMP and being preoccupied with Furiosa. The argument over Rust and accusation made by both leave you to wonder if the Perfect Storm will actually coexist for any period of time. Paul Harris lies to the people about DNS. Think that sums that up. Mark Reese appears to me to be the next challenger for the OCW World Heavyweight Championship. However A-Mart seems to have gotten the better of him twice now. This time with a tire iron, the self proclaimed “Professor” appears to be softening old Mark up for Aries. Looking forward to seeing where this goes next. Mass Effect seems to be heating up a confrontation with C-Note. Which is interesting considering the FI briefcase that C-Note holds. Could be potentially setting himself up as the next challenger to the OCW World Heavyweight Championship if Mark Reese were to fail. I am trying to understand how Claude will factor into this given all that happened to him. Film study from G&G was a fun segment to read. They are clearly scouting their opponents and take the opportunity to face the Future Idiots very seriously. Chance and Derek have a good relationship and play off of each other quite well. Rumble Bellas are some tough ass women. They both are skilled in the ring and together they took out TOG quicker than I expected them to. Code Belle is one of my favorite move names because it is simple yet effective. TOG looked fantastic in green. Deaver and John Carter was really back and forth match at times. John had some excellent sequences in this match. Joe fought hard like the underdog he portrays but in the end I really enjoyed this match. It was not overly long and felt like it had the right stuff. More shit talk about DNS from arthritis daddy. Loved the Invictus reference because I get to learn lore I had no idea about before this. Perfect hype for the main event. Confused about what is happening with Dragana and those TV’s. Waiting for the next part. I love that Dupree lives his gimmick. Method actor if I have ever seen one, the GM/Management RP’s are always some of my favorites and this was no different. Poor EMP, I know someone who might be able to hack the lock on her jail cell. This submission match was so much fun to watch, these guys did not want to give up. I really felt like Paul Boulet was in the drivers seat for the majority of the match. They have eachother scouted out at this point so it came down to a battle of wills and Viktor Karmine make Paul Boulet tap. I wonder what is next for North American champion. Marissa vs House of Faith is becoming my favorite women’s storyline. This attack should only add fuel to this already burning fire. Things feel like they are getting more and more personal. I really enjoyed Marissa’s promo as well, there was a lot of purpose to it. Everyone seems to have been tag team partners or stable partners in the main event scene. Doc is now upset that H20 is a part of the Perfect Storm, and he intends to try to do something about it next week. In the name of Rust Cohle. Why does this feel like it is going to end up with CQC vs Code Green? The main event tore the house down. Those guys went back and forth, the match was super well-paced. B17 came out on fire early, Aries fought back and pressed things. Loved the work outside the ring, easy to get lost out there but they were awesome. Match was a good length and had me invested in each move. Great show overall everyone!
  6. DarkNET Society Leader BASH to Uncover Luis Bishop’s Hidden Financial Secrets at OCW Hard Target The DarkNET Society (DNS) has announced that their leader, BASH, will be making a surprising appearance at OCW Hard Target, a live event that will take place on October 21, 2023 at 3:05 PM Eastern on twitch.tv/ocwfed. BASH, who is also known as the chief hacker of DNS, will be appearing to uncover the hidden financial secrets of Luis Bishop, a respected OCW wrestler who has been concealing a dark side. Bishop, who is known for his integrity and professionalism in the ring, has been secretly involved in a web of deception and fraud that could shake the foundation of OCWFED. According to DNS, BASH has hacked into Bishop’s bank account and obtained evidence of his mysterious transactions and undisclosed assets. BASH will reveal this information to the public at Hard Target. What secrets is Luis Bishop hiding in his bank account? How will he justify his actions to the OCW community? Find out at Hard Target, where the action will be thrilling and suspenseful. Don’t miss this amazing event, where you will see the best of OCW in action. Tune in to twitch.tv/ocwfed on October 21, 2023 at 3:05 PM Eastern and witness the history-making moment.
  7. Really enjoyed tonight’s episode of the show. The Cockbyrne’s are some of my favorite new rookies on the OCW scene. The interview was awesome, and the match even better between both. I am really looking forward to seeing what Warren/Rust have planned for these characters. They should make an interesting addition to an already stacked tag team division in OCW. Grit and Glory do a great job of always keeping the audience with them and what they feel in terms of their position. The call moderated by Brian Williams was gold, even better with the slight hiccup during it. All these competitors showed some real personality, especially Derek & Ryvaughn who are in my opinion not typically as charismatic as their partners. I am excited to see this match, hopefully at London Calling. The tag team division again is setting the OCW world on fire. Drago, EMP, Dupree, & Spider make for some entertaining reading each week. Spider’s kids making an appearance on the family show did pop me quite a bit. Drago is always funny when he asserts his authority and it was no different in dispatching of the cigar. JCS making a small appearance before not deciding to participate for fracas was funny. The angle with EMP and H20 has me intrigued and I am wondering what is going to come of that. Still very much to be learned there as a viewer. Deborah and Marrisa have built a nice program and for me it is one of the most anticipated matches of this PPV cycle. The Iceman and Marrisa are an easy couple to root for, they both have been around for a long time but are still chasing that elusive championship. Deborah being unworried about Marrisa is so Gramazon and on brand. The House of Faith interaction was also gold, Joanna saving Morgan and taking the shot from Iceman was classic. Great stuff from all involved. AJM is a rookie female who gets it. She is wildly entertaining and has built up quite the universe of connections throughout OCW in her short time on the roster. The stuff with Kareem, Jasmin and Dragana is continually amazing. Best finish to a match last night as well, I popped in the VP hard after the 3rd one. Perfect Storm and the Believers renew their hostilities. Perfect Storm bragging about their position and then putting then putting out the challenge to pick the stipulation was pure gold. Their arrogance and awareness of their abilities are great qualities in a great heel team. The Believers stumbled with their entrance and the match overall. It was a great win for Mass Effect, and I am personally interested in who Perfect Storm has found to combat them on Turmoil next week. Ashley Moore, Belle and Val have me intrigued to see where this is going. That being said on my end due to a lack of historical perspective I am a bit confused. Claude Hall keeps getting his family members hurt or his own ass kicked. Bad idea to go out and face C-Note when you cannot touch him. An even worse idea the week after he had your momma attacked. Claude is really building that baby face energy for me here. When JCS finally unleashes Claude on C-Note it should be a fantastic match. With C-Note destroying him this week, push is eventually going to become shove. I know JCS fined C-Note 50K, that is a lot of fines the last few weeks. Jay and Furiosa segment had me laughing quite a bit. I really like the boss getting involved here in the writing. He does an excellent job of making it feel like an authentic conversation. In the limited conversations I have had with Jay over voice it kind of reminded me of him reading it. I could almost hear his voice in my head as I read it. I wonder if Furiosa taking out EMP potentially does what JCS wants. More to be seen here I believe. I am waiting for the next thing that Scotty X does. He is clearly trying to build his character and the background a bit more. Not sure what is different from when I faced him on Ambition months ago, but I can see the wheels turning. Who and what is the actual target for Scotty X remains my question. Aries, A-Mart, KCB, & Owen do a wonderful job via both video and writing of furthering this feud. I am looking to see where this GOAT support system thing goes. Seems like A-Mart is about to be the new person running the GOAT Academy based on what is being teased. KC beating down Owen to open it, Owen’s mid show promo and the beating he put on Mark Reese put this in a spotlight for the night. Triple threat match was awesome, I really like those personally. Karmine and Boulet is a match I am ready to see. The build has been great and I expect we get to see these two clash at Hard Target in Paul Boulet’s first title defense. Wrex and Doc make me want to see this rematch more every week with their work both video and writing. Great show everyone involved!
  8. Quicker show than normal from my experience. There were quite a few things that stood out to me. Drago/Dragana and all involved in those segments always bring a ton of great written content. The Perfect Storm/GM Team/Furiosa segments were well written and illustrate a delicate line that H20 is trying to walk. Nat Mac was all over the show, loved the shirt that the couple wore. El Parca continues to write his redemption story and shows his human side. I am ready for the new attitude Christian Garcia and want to see how this association with Sheldon plays out. Speaking of Sheldon I would like to see him follow up on this self-doubt angle he has playing out and climb his way back to the top of the mountain again. Wrex sending a strong message to Doc about getting his title back has me excited for round two of these titans clashing. I really enjoyed the matches on the card, though the main event was done perfectly from a finish perspective. Big fan and new fan of House of Faith, they have brought it strong. Overall excellent work and excited for Turmoil next week.
  9. Tonight was another great show. Starting with the webshow. I enjoyed Jynx's interview with Stacy Clark. Despite her rude disposition and the overall cold treatment by OCW staff towards DNS members. Jynx continues to add depth to his character and embrace his inner clown persona in the carnival of life. There is clearly still tension with Paul Harris and I expect there is more to come there. The interview segment with Amy Jade Miller and Shianne Lovelace was another great written piece. AJM is clearly establishing herself as a babyface with the classic responses to the interview questions. Shianne played a great heel and she walked the talk, more on that later. Now the matches, we have five booked matches. But there ended up being four on the card, with Belle and Kameyo not taking place. I hope we get to see Belle in an OCW ring some time soon. Bolek and Paul Harris was a super interesting match for me. I think there is an overall sentiment that matches tend to last a long time. This one really kept me engaged in a good way. I love the wheel kick finish, it is creative and when he hit once pinned Bolek and then hit it again I really enjoyed that. Bolek is a worker and in the end got a much needed win before heading into his Summercide matchup with Aisu. Paul Harris has a bright future but first it would appear Jynx is in his way. Well speaking of matches that lasted quite a while. DNS gets a massive win over Mass Effect, all pun intended there. Mass Effect cost themselves on a couple of different occasions. Devon Flash and Ryvaughn have become favorites of mine for their promo work and they are a formidable team in the ring. Samsin and Mad Dawg continue to put in the work as a team to be successful. Shout out to Jean for making this segment happen, could not have done it without them. They did a great job keeping the mystery until the last minute with our promo tonight. Really enjoyed working with them and love the work that they have done on Tacitus. The trons, theme song, and everything else made for a great presentation. I was really happy with it and hope everyone enjoyed. The back and forth of the main event was awesome as well. Both ladies came to fight, AJM shows she will be a factor in the women's division moving forward. I really like the cartwheel clothesline as a finisher for AJM. However Shianne ended up giving her the hands and puts another notch in her belt. Lately it appears she is a woman bent on destruction inside and outside of the ring. Great work by everyone involved. Ready for Summercide!
  10. I will be very interested to hear what Claude has to say. Have to wonder what went on in that mediation.
  11. I always enjoy the show every week. With that being said it felt like a big go home show in a lot of ways. A-Mart got a win with his new friend Parca and told his old tag team partner might be the most technically accurate way of describing that off. This is the first show I have seen Aries wrestle on that wasn't watching old youtube matches. He still looks as competitive as anyone on the roster. The whole web that group is spinning continues to intrigue me. Drago is the star of the show in a lot of ways. Fantastic to work with even though he fines people for actions that take place on their own property. I am sticking to that defense Jake Allen. Whether it is upholding the law of the land in OCW or trying to resolve the space issues that our group of general managers have. I have really enjoyed reading, the old Nintendo games are a great touch. Bringing back up Paul Boulet again, he had a lot of involvement on the show. Brian said this on The Werdz but some of the best written content I have seen has come from Cort/Paul at this point. Paul Boulet continues to push Viktor Karmine and I want to see these guys go at it again. The addition of the North American title to the picture is awesome. These are two guys who regularly have been seen on Ambition, and I could not be more excited to see how this goes down. Deaver and Quartz was an interesting match with a fantastic finish. Deaver had the advantage of surprise on his side each time he attacked Quartz. Not the case when you are wrestling in a match. The numbers game finally caught up to Deaver, it will be interesting to me see whether this continues to be theme throughout the rest of the feud or if Deaver has/makes a friend to go storm chasing with. Another very interesting part of the show for me was Christian Garcia and the interaction he had specifically with Sheldon. We are all aware of his relationship with Jasmine, but it shocked me where he turned for help in this situation. It seems like there is a bond forming there. This all ties together to the other segments on the show with Doctor segments as well. B17 and Rust Cohle is just a match I want to see. These are guys who have great matches at the top of the card since I have been here. I understand there is some history there, and Rust wants to prove he beat Bingo when it counts. These two built a meaningful match in a short period of time and this match should steal the show at Summercide. Really happy for Bolek being on Summercide, he was not on the list of people I expected to be under that mask. He had just come off of the rivalry with Chance so he kept himself busy with a quick turn around. Aisu coming off of the surprise loss of his title will not be underestimating Aleksander Bolek. Amy Jade Miller is a kick ass character who I personally love because of a shared background. Future women's champion, you heard it here first. Excellent first win, and impression. Claudio being broke and needing to beg JCS for his job back had me laughing quite hard during the live stream. I wonder if Claudio is done or if JCS is going to give him another opportunity to not do that. What type of scumbag would attack a fan or staff? DNS is such a special group of guys, they all work so hard for us to be able to do what we do. Great work by Samsin and Mad Dawg this week, they are on fire as a tag team.
  12. A lot of great material on the show is in written and video format. The El Parca, Dennis Dillinger, and Aries web amongst others has me very interested especially since the added twists of A-Mart and our OCW Champion Sheldon Tremblay. Through words/video they have built quite the story and I am ready to see more. Every segment I read or see Drago in is just a delight, have really appreciated how much the COO has had interactions with a wide variety of members on the roster. The tag team division outside of the title picture has shined as well. Mass Effect, Perfect Storm, Bobbie’s Baddies (Will be calling them this from now on), and of course Mad Dawg/Samsin of DNS. EMP and Furiosa continue to build a confrontation I am for one excited to see. Overall, really good show despite a few of the bumps in the road.
