I disagree, Trevor would use a finisher at all times, it's how he plays. As for "these are the rule that we go by now" I can see your point, but we used to have a rule that silently disapeared, it involved main event title matches. Sure, the first 3 eliminations COULD have been by a random move, but it would have made better TV to see a new champion crowned by the move their famous for, or the title retained using the champions devestating finishing move. Statin' not hatin'. I enjoy Mayhem's character work as champion, and I want to see the blow off of Dane vs Mayhen, unfortunately he's going to die.

Just wait until you encounter the glitch wher eif you punch someone, you teleport 5 feet backwards. Or everytime you hit a move, they stand up and be groggy.

I'm not doing this to be a hater, but I recall a rule going around about PPV Main Event TItle Matches ending off of finishers, and only finishers. It's probably been thrown out though, right?

The Trance Review: Wrestling Hangover Version So I got home at 3am last night and watches Wrestlution. Surely this improved my opinion of it, maybe, maybe not, who cares? No doubt someone is going to be offended by this review, so if you're easily offended, do not read. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The show opens with a nice little touch of pyro which I was hoping would be used for the show, my hopes are answered and the capacity crowd are electrified. Greatness returns, looking like he's been working out with Dr. Dre, he cuts the Rock promo and then a gimp in blue comes out to put a beating on him. However the Greatness Gospel is being delivered with the psalm of ass woopings. Unfortunately Pato turns up as does Matsuda and they put the hurting onto RD Money. Ass attack, and by god it's all over! Guess not, they're not done and just keep beating up RD on his return. Jookie come sto us through the fog, yes, it's fog... He's not getting high on live TV, honest. Pretty nice RP from him to be honest, it was different compared to his usual work and obviously had some work put into it, so good job Jookster. Over the Top Rope Ambition Rush Time for the Over the Top Rope Rookie Rush, in which the entrances almost out lasted the match. I'm going to just give you the order of eliminations, LIVIN' IN AMERICAAAAA! If he dies, he dies. Shredder from Ninja Turtles? Nope, it's Shamu, with possibly the creepiest music ever. Darkside theme, they're still around? Well, he has his name tattoo'd on his own chest, and the recorder got bored and forgot to keep moving the stick. Don't blame you, it's a loooooong bunch of entrances dude. LIGHTS! ROCKSTAR! CHECK THE CROWD REACTION! Dorien, Arnaud. He's my pick to win this, let's hope it actually happens huh? Just wish he'd edit up the Canadian flag on his attire so he just has the Canadian Maple Leaf on it, I think it'd look better. Little bit of lag, but it's to be expected with six people in the match, which also means it's going to be quite messy, bodies everywhere so far. I hate tyler's with the fist of fury, they're such a cock, even when they're not intentional. Targetting was obviously an issue in this match but I don't think anyone expected any different to be honest. Quite far into this with no eliminations, I'm shocked, truly. I made myself a sandwhich and came back to no eliminations, and an STFNate locked in on Illuminati. SKIN THE CAT! But not that time, Shamu has been eliminated! Skin the cat! Who's gone next? Nice top rope counter into a jumping fame asser, that really should be someones finisher. Interest in the match killed slightly by that, to be honest, now I'm thinking Jookie is definetly going to win this, which is a shame because I'd like to think his triumph was completely legit. LETS GO D-Jack *clap clap clap clap clap clap* Everyone has pyro of somesort tonight, it's Wrestlution, no half measures. Who will be the EX champion? Will Justin Rox finally get it? Will D-Jack regain his title, or will Judas Hallows win his first OCW title? Good little series between Hallows and D-Jack, with it ending with Rockstar sprinting over to blatantly do a random double team move. Go away Rockstar, I'm enjoying watching Hallows and Djack wrestle. Speaking of which, Hallows almost had a really early sig. Tyler exchange followed by the grapple mini-game, into a double backbreaker. Jackson is really going to town in his attempts to win, brother snap jabs! Punch to the rockstars! Hah, dive spot goes horribly wrong aswell. Will Rockstar hit his? No. Another failed dive, you KNOW this is the EX division. Then finally, Jackson comes smashing through with a huge dive onto Hallows, and Rox road runs until hitting a flying forearm. Hallows attire actually looks decent from a distance, and then he goes for a dive only to be caught off by Jackson. Some nice spots occurring in this one. Jackson gets horribly unlucky with his finisher attempts, before Rox reverses it and gets him with the nails, but DJack's reversing ability is certainly beastly. You love to party, what's not to love. I was banging seven gram rocks that's how I roll, winning. Win here, win win everywhere. Absolute victory in this match, but not for the Rockstar. AND YOUR NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEW EX DIVISION CHAMPION.... Watch it and find out. Snowflakes: ***1/2** I don't need to justify this, it was a good showcase for the EX division with blown spots, reversals, flippy floppy's and a lot of moves being attempted everywhere. Next up, I'm shocked to find Tiger Man is alive and well, is he aiding Lucas or hindering him with all of these warm ups? It's the Heart of the Tiger, it's the thrill of the fight, rising up to the challenge of our rival. This RP came across as very funny, I'm fairly certain that was the purpose, it also read like the Tiger Mask tv show. By god! D-Jones just took out Braddock! No! No! NOT THIS WAY! Crowe really is running around a lot, not what he usually does at all. Diving spear gets reversed and Crowe picks up and mists, then accidentally finishers the wrong guy. People are now allowed to touch the case. BAH GAWD, HIS BODY AND THAT LADDER HAVE BEEN BROKEN IN HALF! A DAY TO FUCKING REMEMBER! Snowflakes: ***1/2** Multi-man matches are always hard to pull off and this went a long way of doing it, though with weapons involved it becomes difficult aswell. Amusing flaw in the contract signing, let's see if anyone can spot it.

Dane is pretty much carrying the Lution Main Event here... I shudder to think how contentless we would be without him in the match. D-Jack however is putting in quite the shift, as is Cody Storm. Good showing from the EX matches, and the FI. Props to those putting work in, I've yet to watch the main event, but I can say Dee Jones put on his best match to date with Cody.

Whilst this does make sense, it unfortunately ALWAYS happens in OCW, so really, this is a refreshing change. The 'sort of' faces vs the 'sort of ' tweener + rich/psychotic/egotistic/skin fetishist heel.

Finish the match, and edit it down, I believe.

Riot, despite being short, was actually quite good this week, although I would have liked to have seen something from Trevor McManus or Parker Stevens. This weeks TV title match had a much cleaner ending to it than the last, and it was actually going either way for its entirety. Leonheart showed why he's going into the Hall of Fame by handing out some beatdowns, and KD reclaims his beast mode vibe. We don't get Thanatos vs Le'Tuce, and we don't get an explanation as to why not. Fausto vs Mayhem was quite good, but I felt the finale that followed was a little predictable, bar the added stipulation, though they had to fight for something, really. Once the announcement was made at the start of the show I figured it'd be the guy who'd been putting a lot of work in media wise for OCW, call it a reward for busting his ass to change everyones opinion of him.

Ryder vs The Referee's I missed this during my original write up, for no reason at all... I shudder to think what standard of officiating will follow this match after Ryder kills them all, in fifteen minutes or less!

Interesting card to say the least... Considering some of the people in each match. Let's run down the card. [Note: Tiberius Dupree's left arm is deformed] Smythe vs Sensation for control of OCW, that's an interesting one, will it be the brawl to end all? Or will it doom us all. The Fatal Fourway... Trevor McManus (quit after a match, apparently?) vs Dane "I cut people" Xavier vs Mayhem vs Parker Stevens I don't really know who to route for here, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's Parkers time, but if Dane hits a big move, he WILL finish off of it, so the hunger of Dane Xavier could be a problem here. Royce Bentley vs Fausto LAST MAN STANDING - GO BENTLEY GO! The Streak vs The Monster - After seeing Pato tap this week, I think it's going to be Leon walking out of Lution with his streak, though if Pato does win it'd solidify him as a monster. Dimsmore vs Ernsmore "than you!" - I'm going to go with Dale, he's beaten Lucas before. Ambition champion. The Future Investment Match Couple of mark worthy additions, these being Cody Storm and Dylan Jones. As for Iceberg... I suppose that's what happens when everyone fucks up and gets suspended, Lucas Crowe would have been good, if he were still feuding with Trips and hadn't been caught in limbo. FI never fails to have drama of somesort, my prediction... PAIN. Dupree vs Matsuda - Seems like a throw away gimmick match in my opinion, but I'm going to go with Dupree picking up the W EX Division Championship - Poor Hazard, can't cut a break, Rockstar, who previously left the EX division after I kicked his ass, now I've left the EX division, and he's back, coincidence I think not? Judas Hallows, a man who beat me, and D-Jack who's not going to be a pirate anymore after the pay per view. You COULD call that a spoiler, if I actually knew what was going on. Prediction: Hallows K.Dangelo vs Jookie Marley - Uh oh, black on black violence. Prediction: Victory for whitey The Rookie Rush - Prediction: Clusterfuck mess. Winner: Slick or Aaron.
