Trance turns, motioning towards Crowe, Eli and Raze before turning back to the camera. Trance: Those who have fallen by the way side are remembered... Eli can be seen in the background, throwing stained garments of clothing into the fire. Trance: Their previous lives returned to, but their time with us is purged, cleansed in the light. Eradicated through abandonment. I tried to fix these lowly creatures, but it wasn't to be. Jacob chuckles. Trance: But that is the beauty of life! That is why I do what I do! I take the broken and try to put them back together... I AM NOT A DESTROYER OF WORLDS! Jacob raises a telling finger. Trance: No, no, no, no... Trance wags the finger before dropping to his knees, head bowed. Trance: I am an architect of dreams, a builder of Utopias. I have assembled... Jacobs voice drops to a whisper as he points back to his family by the fire. Trance: I have assembled... A collective, a family, bound by blood, fire and pain! We walk where others are afraid to walk, we do the things others are terrified of doing, whilst they stand petrified, frozen in time, we march forward never fearing being lost. Family: We are found. Trance: We are found. Jacob stands and heads back towards the fire, seizing a burning log from its core. He tosses it upwards and outwards into the surrounding forest. Trance: As the comet rises, burning through the night we must remember that there is a darkness within us all, a void that cannot be filled. Soon, soon a new generation will be called across the abyss, they will navigate the chasm and I will help them make it to the other world... Jacob sits down, making his parting statement. Trance: I am alive and we are not going away.
