  1. I cut a promo that was at the calibur of the importance of the match I was in... it was a filler match... so you get a filler promo... it was also the only collaborative RP in the entire show where two different superstars interact... but I think that's all you need every week... if your linked to another superstar interact with them... if not just throw something in to add to the show... \it's not all about Smythe D. Wonder yet... I'm letting the stars have their time in the spotlight
  2. Trance I'm going to take your review and I'm going to give it a positive twist... I'll just go ahead and say that you've failed your first week as champion... and we'll have to work on you leading by example... K.D is running 3 characters and providing literally one third of the content... looks good on you big dawg... only Issue I see is that KD isn't working any feuds with any of his characters... now me personally... when K Dangelo called out Smythe when he was North American champion and I had nobody to feud with, I gave K Dangelo a feud and a North American title oppourtunity. But that was me, and I was a great North American champion. My advice to Mugen is if he isn't feuding give Arnaud the shot and make a good feud out of it. Good shit on Illuminati for hosting and putting a great idea together... If it is what I think it is... I applaud you guys for doing something that I suggested... whether you came up with it before I mentioned or not... OCW wins... that's all I care about!!! Smythe has done his character Evolution... you know who he is you know what he does... It's now just interesting to inject him into situations and see what happens... part of the fun of it all is knowing his personality and knowing what is going to happen... Smythe will always be the opportunist, he will always do the most heelish thing, He will always demand the world and he will always deliver good TV... He also is infinitely tied to the Sensational family. Nate and Tiffany are the cornerstone of OCW. They're never irrelevant... RP placement wasn't good for me watching the show... Smythe early was a good call... Valmont should have been later in the show... You have to give a big return a big return feel... Smythe returning is like a pest or a massive flea... his presence is miniscule until he makes enough of a noise that everyone has to notice... Valmont returning is a big thing... His RP's are big... his character is a big deal... treat him as such in his promos... I love Minio... everything about him... the fact that he's crafting out his own character... the fact that he's aware of what's going on... for me, I want him to focus on what's happening with him now... You can't worry about Trance and the title... you have to focus on Pugh... He's coming for you, kick his ass, put that on your bucket list... add him to your list of people you've beaten!!! Sad to see Cody run after losing the title... has sour grapes all over it... I hate the fact that people associate being champion with being the best at the game... to tell the truth I think my top 5 on the sticks are people that hardly held the championship at all... To prove my point I'll list my personal top 6 for your enjoyment... 6. Me (just so I can be on the list)- I know this is horrible to say... but I'm my favourite person to watch in OCW... from my spot and taunt choices to to how avoid tons of damage by simply walking away or keeping just out of grapple distance, when I'm on I deal tons of damage quickly by striking and grapple combos and I use a steady combo of avoidance and reversing to get to finisher state... then I use high charisma to to channel finishers fast... I look good in the ring... 5. Trance - He's always getting better... over time he's become one the greats on the sticks... He's never been King of the Mountain at any given time... but he can win every time he's in the ring... the elimination of the two reversal triggers made him a monster due to his style of counter first play... Trance also has developed a lot of spots... so many that I can't keep up with them... 4. Leonheart - OCW's only true grand slam champion... He won the TV title... then the NA title... then the FI then the OCW championship... and defended it at Lution... I don't even know how he's good... I can't pinpoint what he does... But he's done it all... 3. Kage - Nick Kage was a monster on the sticks.. his winning percentage was like 99%... and he was aggressive... he didn't wait for you to come to him and most of the time he was doing the attacking you had to counter to even get a shot in... and most times he would just counter that then go back to kicking your ass... He only held the OCW title once... and that was before I even joined OCW... but he beat everyone up... 2. Nate - Nate was magical in the 2 trigger reversal days... He had tiers... if you sucked he was in counter mode... he would walk up to you, counter what you were going to do than beat you up... If he respected you... he did alot of striking, used the spinning backhand to close space and move in from there... Frustrated Nate would all out smash... countering as he went along.. but when he transitioned between how he wanted to damage you was when it became a problem... if you started to figure it out he would make tweaks and eventually you would lose focus and Nate had you finished off... I still see it happening!!! Nate Hardly held the title... but was the King of PPV victories... 1. Aries - The best on the sticks for me... When Aries was on it was a lightning storm... he had a way of letting you do damage but never alot of it... if you wanted to strike 3 times he'd give you 2 then counter the third one... if you wanted to toss to the turnbuckle then strike he'd give you turnbuckle but counter the strike... and when it was his turn to deal damage he dealt a ton of it... So you felt like you were in the match when really he's DY and you're DR. OK that happened... Trance - A ton of content... I like it... I don't get it yet... but I blame that on me not being around... but I like it... I can't believe that you and Tobin didn't use that match to put the start of a feud together... pretty much previewed the Summercide ME match... I'll expect an explanation soon enough... Content wise it's alot of content from you... not sure it's all needed... but without you, K.D and Minio there isn't much content at all so I guess it's neccessary!!! Great show kiddies...
  3. I think you'll be main Eventing Lution personally!!! Kid Ego can't resist the spotlight!!!
  4. I had to use old footage... Also Smythe considers himself an OCW champion. He officially won the title Via Disqualification (Fausto had red rings) we made it work... So technically he was recognized as OCW champion for exactly 4 days... twas an Excellent PPV tho... Trance played like a man on a mission... I loved that match... HOLY shit Tobin... great tag win Suda and Mugen... I hope the tag division gets some life... and Pugh you're soft like baby bottom if you returned because Trance won the title... Pugh/Minio will be interesting... and Tobin vs the Family should be excellent TV... Good shit OCW... as Always!!!
  5. Well... Summercide is going to be awesome!!!
  6. I hope you guys are ready!!!!
  7. Good show... really good show... I want you guys to try to stop outing all the alts tho... just so the newer guys have a surprise and we can not relate guys to who's behind the sticks... OMG look awesome and write awesome... this show also has way too many of the top guys in factions at the moment... and perhaps not enough straight up feuds... just an opinion tho.... I liked how most of the matches played out... Parker/Trance was exciting Moto/Dims was surprising... Cody/and whoever that was was strange... I thought Cody took way more damage than it showed when he was D/Y while the other guy was D/R... sucks there's no way to check the balance... Carry on OCW!!!
  8. Good to see things looking like they are back to normal around here... New game new beginnings... Show looked as good as they've ever been...great job guys... I think that's all I'll say for now... kidding... To weigh in on the title picture and all the shots... you have to do your work and pay your dues to get into the title picture... which includes working in other title pictures putting tops guys over and winning over the crowd... which is essentially your peers... I'll use myself as an example (cause that's what I do)... Me and Leon pretty much cracked Main event at the same time. Leon won his way to the top winning all the titles and major fueds all the way up. I was notoriously bad at 2K7 and spent most of that year being passed around the top tier guys like a prostitute while they saw just how bad they could beat me. But I kept the storylines interesting even if it was just for the one show. I also wrote my ass off and constantly pitched ideas throwing myself into situations putting other guys over. That won over my peers. Then I got good at the game, and by the time Leon won the FI clause (after being TV champion, then NA champion). I won a 4 way elimination to become the number 1 contender for the title. Got my title shot before Leon (I lost of course). But I proved I could run a feud and a program, I could play clean in the ring and my character wasn't an carbon copy or a glory hog piece of trash, but a part of the roster and everyone respected and applauded my step into stardom... Point being. Half of OCW can't be in the title picture. So while your waiting keep the mid-card interesting. Make your appearances count and when you get your shot take the title like Tibby did... and that's enough positive for you guys for one day!!! if anyone wants to help me brush up my gamertag is now Smythe Dawonder and I'm still on aim.... here's to a good season
  9. That is a grand lesson in over whoring!!!! I loved that feud tho... so much happened and the story played out so well going into the future and building from the past... it was as perfect a storyline as possible at that time... Spoon is right I was the longest serving NA champion with the 2nd best reign... Spoonman's NA title run was amazing and it would have been an amazing Championship run if he didn't have to take a break... I was so looking forward to Spoon and AJ Phoenix for the title... I think Smythe/Poe Smythe/Malu then Smythe/Wesley was the best tag title run in OCW as well... that division had multiple teams vying for the title... tag tourneys surprise defences and monthly ones... of course Smythe and Malu as a team was totally unfair but it was the basically the heart and soul of the Bloodline... the fact that we held them for so long But I think Smythe going into the Hall of fame will be more about his storys and all he's done other than the title reigns... Screwing his nemesis at the time (DJ CHino) out of the NA title to join Leon. Then screwing Leon to join the SWO. being in the best built up FI clause match in history. Being in the top faction of Lution 3 (SWO) and Lution 4 (Bloodine). Creating one of OCW's most staple factions... maybe top 3... Helping Sensation win the OCW title... Putting over top guys... losing the big one... first guy to Main Event Lution twice and the only guy to do it legit... and more that I don't remember right now... just so you guys know if I get a speech it will be a novel!!! and a good novel and Parker... I was officailly OCW championg for 4 days... then Vimes stripped me... in my speech I'll tell all the behind the scenes parts of that awesome work
  10. Leave it to Nate to leave out the most awesome parts of the lead up to the greatest match in OCW history ;)... As the story serves... After Nicks loss to Nate at Lution he went on a tear not losing a single match while competing every week tearing through the entire roster one man at a time... the epic fail of everyone in the Sensational Alliance except RD Money who beat 3 other men to retain his title spelled the end of the SWO as we knew it... Majin went Crazy, RD Money went Hollywood and Smythe clung to Kage as his student of the game... Smythe lost the Future Investment match to Leon, starting his meteoric rise to the top, but he took matters into his own hands and became the first number one contender for Guy Fausto's OCW championship taking OCW by surprise. With Kage taking the SWO's favourite henchman under his wing (Smythe spent the last few months helping Majin make Fausto's life a living hell) Kage went on to torment Nate week after week. Including a victory over the Franchise at the clash setting the stage for the greatest match of all time. With Kage crushing everyone who got into the ring with him Nate needed a great night to help propel him into the Damnation match. que the Smythe and Nate no DQ match. Smythe vows to Kage earlier in the night that Nate wouldn't be 100% for the Damnation match and throws everything at him. When Nate seems to get the upper hand que Kage with a massive powerbomb to give Smythe much needed momentum going into his championship match with Fausto at the same Damnation PPV. But Nate kicks out of the powerbomb. Smythe who is on a hot streak of his own since Lution dashes in with a quick SDW, nate kicks out of that and then another SDW before he goes into a rage and Kage slowly backs away as Nate lays destruction to a now fearful Smythe Dawonder suggesting that while Kage is on a tear and looks unbeatable... is it possible to put Nate Ortiz away??? Going into this match the hype is absolutely real... it's actually one match to kill off a character and everyone is thinking of what to do incase each guy loses... What makes it interesting is that all the angles were already covered... if Nate loses passive agressive Guy Fausto is his obvious replacement as he already holds the OCW championship and him becoming OCW's top face would be an easy step up. but CCW's champion "sage" Versus is also an easy candidate to take the reins with a made for TV rise under his belt as well. If Kage loses in steps Smythe Dawonder who was currently the number one contender for the OCW championship and has been bouncing around the ME storyline as a Alpha-heel in training for the past few months. Then comes Damnation. Smythe one PPV after losing the bout to steal Leonhearts Future Investment clause manages to steal the OCW title from Guy Fausto in what would go down as one of the most controversial title wins and reigns in OCW history. With this happening earlier in the night it meant alot of things. first that Nate vs Kage was bigger than the OCW title, the CCW title and everything in between. The entire company was fixated on this one match. and it did not disappoint at all. the amount of reversing and deep play in this match was incredible (remember there was two reversal buttons at the time). this match looked like it was the best two going at it right from the start. and the run-ins from Fausto and Smythe were also very telling. Smythe despite winning the OCW championship ran down to the ring and interrupted the most important match in OCW history to save his mentor. which basically propelled Smythe into the actual Main Event spotlight. And Fausto defending Nate showed his actual bid for friendship in not being a jerk and letting Nate lose despite being cheated out of his title moments earlier. Then there was Versus. Who ran down to the ring to presumably save Nate from defeat and instead dime bag drops him as well as Kage for the surprise shocker of a heel turn of the night... so much happening and so much storyline included in one match. Also the part of Smythe and Fausto doing the job after their run ins and putting over Nate and Kage as the top two in the business looked right as well. By both of them being tossed out of the ring and out of the action it put the focus back on them as a 1 on 1 battle... finisher kickouts, cell breakthroughs, run ins, heel turns... this match virtually had everything and the ending was sheer beauty... I'll touch on it more with my Hall of Fame speech of course... you bastards had better let me in!!!
  11. I got stuck in studio all week and couldnt really do anything... this week is my bad I think... Bloodline all day... cause even when we dont RP we still draw the heat... watching the show tomorrow when I have a moment... screw you all... and Wesley didnt lose twice
  12. I'll just close this argument on the finishers and whatnot... OCW as it stands... HAS NO RULES!!! no kickout rule, no finisher on damage rule no "if it looks good end on that" rule... as long as OCW has no rules... I could care less about the talk on ethics, morals and agreements... If we have no rules, ethics don't really matter... kicking out of 5 finishers, reversing the drag move... it's a match to match thing... when titles are on the line and people want to win it's all out the window... I personally value my finisher... I'm not using it until your damaged and once you are I'm using it over and over again until your too embarrased to continue... but that's just me...
  13. Mcgee... OG... whatever... point still stands... and you know I'm right Jay... Tibby wrestled Steve for 3 straight PPV's last year... and I project Parker fighting Tibby for 5 in a row... I never liked the rematch clause in the first place... and now there's 2-3 rematches??? I'm kinda looking forward to seeing Parker/Cody this week... cause I'm sure they don't play together often so it'll be an actual test in skill...
  14. Honest opinion here... the title picture is falling apart at almost every level in OCW... the most respectful title is currently the tag titles... which has never happened before but it's the honest truth... why??? because a team looks for a shot they step up... get that ass whooped and then sit back down... I understand OCW went from "let's make something over the top and fun as hell to do for everyone" to "let's try to emulate the WWE as much as possible" but it was a staple that iconic title reigns was based on kicking everyones ass while your champion... OCW's best two titles reigns ever... Chris Mania's NA title reign and Parker's Hardcore title reign are solidified by two things... Parkers 19 defense streak and Spoon's CFC to everyone run... people stepping up and getting clobbered is what made it iconic... the storyline feuds are great... but once you have titles it's about defending them... not stagnating them in long overdrawn feuds... the World title has a tad different personality... because it essentially is a storyline title... you can't have it without being close to the boss or OCW management... it takes alot of dedication and planning to be OCW champion... even feuding with the champ is a heavy burden and it has to be awesome... and many feuds do go over 2-3 PPV's... I will say the timing on this feud is terrible tho, because with Lution on the way you'd have to rol with Tibby and Parker in the Lution ME... whcih would drive said feud to 5-6 months... and if not then the Lution feud would have less build up time than this one... but that will fall on the powers that be not planning anything out properly... Cody your problem is that you quit... and you obviously have ties to somewhere else... OCW has serious loyalty standards... and winning your way to the top doesn't happen usually... only exception I think would be Kage's retirement story where he pretty much beat everyone on the roster week after week legit then did the job to Nate... What you need to do is work on putting some good feuds together... when the title picture becomes less of a hug fest and more of what it used to be then you should be inline for the International title right away... speaking of which Tyro needs put that title on the line... In my eyes he doesn't deserve it... I'm almost positive that if he fought half of the mid-card roster he'd lose... and of course I could be wrong but I've seen him fight Dimsmore, Tibby and Pugh and the result was the same... he's obviously no Spoon... and watching that I see where Cody's frustration comes from... I also remember Mcgee defending the hardcore title week in and week out... it's the low card title... like the TV title and isn't a PPV only affair... it doesn't deserve to be a PPV only affair... I get you guys are trying to feud... I really do... but in both instances it just looks bad seeing one guy repeatedly lose and be mid-card champion and another guy horde the low-card title while there's a bunch of low-card guys that want something to build their name with... ok rant over... About the show... New Tibby is awesome, shades of old Tibby really make it work... he kind of went Hollywood, but it works... Matsuda is also becoming one of my favourite guys to watch... he's even decent in matches movement wise which is hard in this game... Leon's new manager role is cool... gotta give to a guy that can re-invent himself over and over again... he'll put Storm and Mcgee over... Pato/Mayhem needs to happen... Mayhem looking small kinda kills it for me tho... Michael Hollywood is the new Kip Konrad... Jook needs the gimmicks back... he was hilarious... and someone step upto the plate... I need a feud...
  15. Please fat man... when there's rumour I might be in the building... the OCW buzz is like no other... little jappers like Suda strive to be like me... the rookies get their notepads out to take notes... and 99% or the superstars on the roster pray they don't have to wrestle me that night... to even light a candle in my shadow... you'll have to have record title reigns, wrestle the best, beat the greatest and do it all in remarkable style... at your best, on your brightest day, all you can do, if your lucky, is to lick my jock strap... I am and will always be your superior...
  16. Look at that... A show without Smythe Dawonder, perhaps even a decent one... I get to sit in a back and watch the action unfold for once... maybe I'll come explain my absence at Chill Faktor... Maybe!!!
  17. Me and Spoon were unable to connect for our match... and since we both have modems that double as routers Spoon replaced me with Trancey... I could have thrown some RP's together but with Nothing really going on with Smythe at the moment I decided to sit this one out... was an excellent PPV... lots of content and decent matches!!!
  18. best moment in the last 5 years of WWE... hands down... Miz was an awesome champion... and I'm going to call the moment of Chill Faktor being the Return of Leonheart... Stabling up with up and comers like Storm and Mcgee will be a good look... still watching tho, I can pretty much guess what's going to happen the rest of the way already... not sure if it's a good or bad thing as of yet
  19. That's it old man... Do what's right!!! Give me the spotlight
  20. ahh what the hell... Bombshell Division.. Sasha Dawonder
  21. this was an actual blast when we had create a title mode... people were DM'ing in title matches all day then building prestige for the titles... not sure who ruined all the fun... but it was a blast...
  22. They need a set of rules to play with!!! Just sayin...
  23. and I've watched the matches... They were ok... I liked Pugh and Trance the best even tho it seems like they play each other all the time... they know each other very well... Parker's RP was the shit... He also stunned every jobber in OCW... that was pretty sweet!!! long live the King of the Bitch-made era (i kid, I kid) D-Jack for some reason is so creepy... his RP's are creepy as hell... it makes no sense... but even when he just says hi... it's creepy... quick notes on my match: I had plans to use my sub finisher against KD... So i used a Caw with 85 sub 70 durability I knew I'd get hurt first but I was seeing if I could escape the Black Rack with an 85 sub Caw then I was going to make KD tap and laugh... didn't go that way obviously... But I love playing KD cause I know he's out to destroy me... WHen he triple booted me I was like "really" and I wanted to kill him from there on... the countout ruined what was going to be an awesome ending... or I just would have make him tap out or I would have tapped out... next time KD... Next time!!! Tibby being a sellout is pretty good... and it puts a good feud together for the PPV... Good Shit... Matsuda is interesting to watch in the ring... aside from the hoverfest that's apparently attached to the EX guys... he has alot of good movement and spots... if you use the Archives Suda... take a look at a few of Michael Heatons matches... Heaton was one of the best at playing with a different entertaining style... you can learn a few tricks off of him...
  24. Oh cmon it's not THAT high... And it's one move...
  25. Lift and drop on face hurts more than a free fall... Which is absolutely logical
