WRESTLER NAME: "The Son of God" Cody Storm HOMETOWN: Detroit, Michigan/Silver Spring, Maryland HEIGHT: 6'4 WEIGHT: 245LBS THEME SONG: I Want it All/We Will Rock You Mashup - Queen (Feat Armageddon) SIGNATURE MOVES(S): Spinning Backfist/Terrapin DDT FINISHERS(S): The Crucifix (Crucifix Powerbomb)/The Hebrew Hammer (Powerslam) NOTABLE FUEDS: Cody Storm vs Tobin Frost, Cody Storm vs Jacob Trance, Cody Storm vs Sean McGee, Cody Storm and his pursuit of the A-Team ACCOLADES: 1x OCW World Heavyweight Champion, 1x International Champion, 2013 King of OCW, 2011 Future Investment winner, 1x T.V. Champion Biography: Cody Storm was born in Detroit Michigan, but his stay there would not last long. Around the time that Cody was five, his mother and father would divorce. Cody and his mother would move to Maryland, while his brother, Jake, and their father would stay in Detroit. The divorce was traumatic enough that Storm blocked it out as he grew older. His mother soothed him by telling him that God was his father. Most would assume she was speaking figuratively, but being the emotional wreck that he was, Cody took her words literally. Any opinion or evidence against this newly formed fact would be met with strong opposition and, on more than one occasion, violence. Cody Storm made his way to OCW as part of the great rookie influx of 2011. While most joining the company during this time would be sent to Ambition, where the likes of Tiberius Dupree, Dimsmore, Ryu Matsumoto, Patolomai, and Matsuda would form the tight knit core of the "Ambition Era", Storm would show up on Riot and defeat returning veteran, Josiah Cross, for a roster spot on OCW's flagship show. Most of his first year was spent trying to find his place in the back; Storm would form a short lived tag-team with Brandon Hostile, come close to beating former World Champions Aries and Trevor McManus on separate occasions, have a very brief stint with the Television Championship, and win the Future Investment in his first Wrestlelution match (Wrestlelution VI). The end of Storm's first tenure in OCW would come quickly after his big F.I. win as he grew frustrated and in a spat with OCW owner Mr. Sensation would be unceremoniously thrown out of the company. Cody was thrown into a dumpster and driven out in the busy New York street where he was most likely hit by at least one car. All of this coming after being attacked backstage by Patolomai who stole his F.I. briefcase. In the summer of 2012 Cody Storm would return to OCW to form a tag team with Jacob Trance. Cody's fickle nature would rear its ugly head again as Storm would bring in his brother, Jake Storm, his wife Cherese Lee-Storm, and turn on Jacob Trance before The Storms would set their sights on OCW Tag Team Champions: The A-Team. It wouldn't take long before The Storms would grab the attention of the champions, but Jake Storm was a no show on the evening the title match was to be held. Cody entered the ring opposite The A-Team and did the best he could on his own, but the company would later decide the match was not fit for T.V. This match-that-never-was would be the first in a set of events leaving Storm once again frustrated and feeling under utilized: Over the next month or so, Storm, Sean McGee, and K.D'Angelo found themselves on the receiving end of several sneak attacks. Each man suspected the others and they would spend their time interrogating and intimidating each other right into a triple threat match at the 2012 edition of Chill Faktor. The match ended when Cody Storm slammed K.D. with the Hebrew Hammer as McGee looked on. After the match, as K.D. got to his feet, footage would roll showing that it was Storm and McGee who attacked D'Angelo backstage in the prior weeks. They had faked their own attacks to throw off any suspicion. The duo would lay D'Angelo out once more after the match, attacking him with steel chair shots as a returning Leonheart watched on applauding. Thus Cerberus was born. Cerberus was formed out of the mutual discontent of Storm and McGee regarding their place in the company. Leonheart returned to mentor them and help them achieve their potential. He would start by helping his proteges force their way into the business of, then Hardcore champion, Paul Pugh and, then International Champion, Tyro Kraven. A tag team match was set up between the two sides, if Pugh/Tyro lost then the person that was tapped out/pinned would be forced to put their title on the line at the 2013 edition of The Clash. If Pugh and Tyro won, Cerberus would be banned from interfering as the two champions would put their titles on the line in a one on one match. Tyro would end up being pinned and the International Championship put on the line in what was essentially a glorified 1 v 1 v 2 elimination match as Cerberus would use their numbers advantage to first eliminate Paul Pugh, then Tyro, and then settle the match between themselves to crown a new champion. Cody Storm would eliminate each man himself, becoming the new International Champion. Cody would continue his run as International Champion as the 2013 King of OCW tournament began. Cody would make his to way to the final night of the tournament at OCW's Road 2 Glory by defeating Jookie Marley, then Tobin Frost in the semi-finals, and Jacob Trance in the finals to become OCW's King of the Ring (and thus far the last crowned King). This match between Cody Storm and Jacob Trance would prove to reignite the feud between the two as Jacob would go on to become the number one contender to Cody's International Championship. The Riot after the KOCW tournament concluded Cody Storm would come out for his coronation, only to be surprise attacked by Jacob Trance. Trance tied Cody up in the ropes and broke Cody's new crown into a jagged mess. Trance would pick up the contorted metal and stab it into Cody's head, effectively crucifying Storm with his crown of thorns, taking a jab at his proclaimed lineage. Jacob would go on and dub himself wrestling's anti-christ, the foil to Cody's Son of God. The two would face off at Wrestlelution VIII in a Through Hell match where a winner could only be determined after one of the competitors was thrown through the top of the Steel structure. Cody would put Jacob Trance through Hell and retain his title, but his trouble with Trance wouldn't end there. Mr. Sensation found Storm and his constant complaining about not being given his fair shake at main eventing to be abrasive. Further angered by Storm's retention of the title, Sensation would order a Wrestlelution rematch on the next Riot (albeit this one a regular singles match). Cody would beat Jacob Trance twice in one week, but would not walk out of Riot that night with the championship. After the match Mr. Sensation would walk down to the ring and personally strip Storm of his championship before shoving a pink slip into his hands. The Son of God wouldn't be kept out for long, being brought back into the company by his Cerberus teammate, Leonheart, the two would team up to challenge the A-Team for the OCW Tag Team Championships at 2013's Summercide. The match would end in controversial fashion as a referee involved himself a little too directly in the match, stepping in front of Cody as he tried to finish off Mez Murdock. Mez would take advantage of the distraction by booting Storm in the face before he could even figure out what was happening. After the match Leon and Cody found themselves at odds eventually leading to Leon's departure from Cerberus. Sean McGee and Cody Storm would continue Cerberus on their own for the next few months, but eventually found themselves at odds as the two men each tried to climb their way up the OCW ranks to the main event. Storm reminded management that he had never received his OCW World Championship shot that he earned by winning the King of OCW crown, and despite being fired from the company earlier, management decided that they would honor his shot at a later date. Sean McGee grew jealous and pushed Cody again and again until Storm was so focused on fighting McGee one on one that McGee was able to convince Cody to put his title shot on the line. The brawl would be long and bloody, but Cody would come out on top. Cody would receive his title match at Riot 370 against World Heavyweight Champion Paul Pugh. It was little secret that there was no love lost between the World Champion and his challenger. The two had been at odds backstage since Cerberus had stuck its nose in Pugh's business with Tyro. Pugh ditched his normal ring gear for this match, opting instead to wear a plain black singlet in an effort to get inside his challengers mind and mock him. Rather than submit to the mind games, Storm channeled his anger and became OCW's new World Heavyweight Champion, only the fourth different champion in the past two years. The fans hated Cody Storm. Cries of "boring" were shouted everywhere he went. He was often compared to Trevor McManus, a man formerly known as the most boring Champion in OCW history. But backstage the response may have been even worse. Cody was a terror in the ring, but it was a widely held belief that he lacked the required charisma to carry OCW. He wasn't the full package. He never should have gotten near the championship. Storm would use this to fuel his competitive nature. Cody knew that if the rest of the roster wasn't going to support him, he was going to have to bring in outside help. Storm invested the help of his friends from federations long past, The Blacklist (consisting of Jonny D and Wheeler), to watch his back. The Blacklist made their Riot debut by donning black masks to obscure their identities and attacking Cody's opponent in his first title defense: Tobin Frost. The duo jumped the barricade on Riot and put Tobin through the announce table. Tobin, not one to back down from a fight, found himself waging psychological warfare with the World Champion. Storm sent The Blacklist to abduct Frost's mentor, trainer, and father figure, Samuel. In an attempt to even the playing field Frost made his way to Maryland and dragged Cody's mother to Riot. He forced Mrs. Storm to step into the ring, face to face with her son, and break the news to him that he was not The Son of God. Tobin threatened to return Mrs. Storm only after Sam was let go. Storm instructed The Blacklist to release Samuel, but it was what he did afterwards the shocked the OCW Universe: after Tobin ran backstage to find his mentor, Cody Storm would pick up and Crucify his own mother. Showing his number one contender that no one and nothing was going to derail his World Championship reign. Frost and Storm would main event Wrestlelution IX in a no-disqualification match for the World Heavyweight Championship. Blood, sweat, and tears would be shed by both men, but Storm would manage to retain after crucifying Frost on top of a set of steel steps. After coming down from the high of successfully retaining the World Championship on the grandest stage of them all, Storm once again found himself in the cross-hairs of one Jacob Trance. Trance sicked his newly formed Family on Storm and The Blacklist, coming out on the post-'Lution Riot to challenge Cody at the next PPV: Damnation 2014. During the leadup to Damnation Cody Storm would lose his first singles match in over a year to a still up-and-coming Drago Cesar before losing his World Championship to Jacob Trance. On the post-Damnation Riot Cody Storm walked to the middle of the ring, stood silently in front of the packed house, and slowly untied his wrestling boots. He tied the laces of the two boots together and left them in the center of the ring, walking back to the backstage barefoot. Cody Storm hasn't been seen in a wrestling ring since. At least not of his own volition.......

Instead of a camera crew following around one of OCW's many talents, or an article declaring the latest news in the OCW universe or the top ten finishing moves of all time, fans doing their hourly check-in on ocwfed.com are greeted with something that looks a little out of place. The top headline simply says "Click Me!" Underneath is a playable video who's still frame picture is of a youtube channel named SuzieShortCake. When one clicks the video, they find that it's a sort of video inside a video. Their eyes follow as someone else's mouse floats up clicks on the only video link posted to the channel thus far: Suzie's 5th Birthday. The time stamp reads "12 hours ago". The video seems to hold true to its title, ten seconds in and the scene looks like any other child's birthday party. Presents stacked by the front door of a suburban home, the foyer filled with young children running to and fro, likely playing any number of versions of 'tag'. In the tradition of many home movies, the scene takes a sudden jump cut. Now we watch as children and parents alike huddle around a long kitchen table with a cake situated at the far end of it... Crowd: .....Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday dear Suzie, happy birthday to you....! The camera stops panning around the singing voices and focuses in on a little girl being held up and forward so that she can get close enough to blow out her candles. Once the candles have been extinguished the girl, Suzie, is pulled back and embraced by a man we can presume to be her father. The camera pans up and holding Suzie in his arms is former OCW Superstar Cody Storm with the kind of smile that only finds its way across the faces of those that are truly content. The camera jumps again. Now we're in Storm's living room. He's situated in the middle of his couch with his wife, Cherese, sitting on his lap. Their friends and family standing and sitting around them, forming a loose circle. ???: You know Cody, I didn't want to say anything while you were still working, but I'm so glad you've since decided to cut your hair short again. That long hair was dreadful. Cherese Lee-Storm: I kept trying to tell him, but he just wouldn't listen to me..... Cherese trails off as Cody shoots her a look. Cody Storm: Thanks Margie, really, much 'preciated. A grin crosses his face as he offers Marge a small wink, letting her know there are no hard feelings. Marge: I've been curious though Cody, why did you leave? The response is slow, between the question and the answer that grin falls from Cody's face. A keen eye catches him lick his lips quickly, nervously, but he seems to have replaced the grin fast enough so as to avoid notice by any of the party goers. Cody Storm: I just missed this one, is all. Cody turns and gives his wife a peck of a kiss on the forehead. A jovial scream comes bounding around the corner and right towards the couch. Cody Storm: AND THIS ONE!!! Cody quickly catches Suzie and hoists her up onto her parents' laps where they torture their daughter with tickles as the video trails off.....

I was originally going to go with divine intervention. God helped Drago to beat me because he wanted to send me a wake up call/Drago could never beat me on his own. But I didn't want to downplay his win and step on Drago in that way, so I tweaked it a little bit.
-
That's it, I'mma punch you in the mouth!
-
People lose the A game to me and then reverse my grapple quite frequently. You must be hitting the trigger in the middle of tapping and not realize it, because that will take away your chance to reverse for a certain period of time.

In fact there is a 3 finisher kickout rule. It's like the biggest part of the rules and regulations thread. Except that thread needs to be updated, the rule is on the third finisher you play dead. The thread still has the older rule stating three in a row and you're out. But now it's just three in general.
-
Excuse me sir! This RP was a joint effort between all three of us where we sat on Google docs for like four hours and talked through what we wanted to do/write. I was involved in just about every part of it! FU :P
-
I'm recording that match and Drago gets his with the finisher and he's like "well, good match K.D." I said "you can kick out, I believe in you!" He kicks out and watching it, it was like a crazy momentum shift. Drago just started taking it to K.D. To poor K.D.'s credit though, his TV is screwed up and he said a couple times during the match before he was pinned that if Drago hit a finisher on him he probably wouldn't be able to see the kickout bar xD. I'm definitely going to watch Riot tonight after I eat and I'll drop my review upon completion.
-
I hope this means you're turning face, because it looks like we could probably use some faces right now. By the way "He considers taking the man’s swag bag from him, ripping his shirt, a signature laden sausage casing on the man" Fucking Ew!

I know it's kind of long, but Lution was huge this year. I think I actually appreciate the show more after doing this because I went over just about every move in every match and was able to find at LEAST one markout-able thing in each match of the night. And for an entire 11 match card, that's pretty impressive. Fuck all of you who don't have name plates. And fuck OMG for not having Dupree's Powerbomb-Liontamer combo be a fall! Song choices were made with specific matches in mind, and with Wheeler's help: 1. Busta Rhymes/Linkin Park "We Made It": I feel like most Mania highlight videos have a general roster celebration song, so this was that one. 2. Art of Dying "Get Thru This": We felt like this fit an I Quit match very well. 3. Dre/Eminem "I Need a Doctor": This was chosen for Jay's return to control. 4. Imagine Dragons "Bleeding Out": It seemed to me to represent putting everything into accomplishing a single goal, and that very much describes the OMG blood feud. 5. A portion of Manchester Orchestra's "Pride": This was chosen partially because I felt like if I had to split a song for time purposes, this split well. Also the tempo fit the match well, I love how the song synced up with my punches in the corner.
-
Oh, I gotcha. Walked up the ramp and had Trance turn me back around. Yeah, that actually would have been pretty cool
-
And runaway from a match? You crazy! I still don't know how that flying knee didn't turn me double red, but I'll take it!
-
Oh, I knew I missed something Crowe/Raze: After The Gentleman told Rose he had his eyes on someone else at 'Lution, I don't know if Crowe dragged Raze under the ring to turn him into a vampire and become his teammate, or if he is taking him to hell and beating the shit out of him. So finding out which way that's going should be interesting. Also, I wanted to ask people's opinions on the entrance I tried this week as I'm still not sure how I feel about it.

Excuse my posting three times in a row (unless someone posts before I hit go on this thing), but I just finished Riot so I'm going to do my review while it's all fresh in my head. So with that being said: SPOILERS AHEAD We're going to do this review differently than normal. I usually just go along with the show, but I think because so many people did so many different segments of this show I'd rather talk about the people instead of the individual things. Our Hero: Our Hero actually did exactly what he said he was going to do with this one. He came out to the ring, he celebrated his comeback, but then he made a statement to all of the 'boys in the back'. He told us that there are a lot of people leaving now who have carried Riot on their backs for a couple of years and that we have to do our parts now to showoff, make names for ourselves, and keep OCW not just going but hopefully getting better. Interestingly enough, he put his money where his mouth was as this was the only time we saw Our Hero on this broadcast, which effectively means that any judgement that is made on this show is entirely ours. It was a good RP, I'm glad to have him back, and I'm glad to have the chance to run with the ball. Rebelution: This duo put in a lot of material on this show. They interacted with Jookie, Drago, Trance's family, and had a match so it was good stuff. It's always interesting to see how a team is going to get through having a match against each other, and these two actually ended up being the final two in the battle royal they were in. Cobra won the match with a sweet looking spear, and the two kept moving on like nothing happened, so that's good. I think they need some more experience playing as a tag team though, as they looked a little out of sorts trying to play around each other in the match. Bombshells: All I can say about this is that when the ref introduces you "from no where in particular" you know you're about to get jobbed out. I really like the gimmick here, so I was hyped for the attack. K.D.: I never want to actually see this Boondox area because it sounds terrible! I like the new direction for your character and you picked a good quote to use before facing Sherwood cause he's a greedy, greedy man. The Blacklist: We had one hell of a Lution weekend, and anytime we tried to revel in that fact, something stupid happened xD. The writing Wheeler put in was good this week, and D's spots were sweet in the match even though it was hard to see them because that match was botched in the render. Drago Cesar: I know I came off a few months ago saying I liked your character, but didn't love the comedy stuff because there was so much of it going on, but now that you were the only comedy RP on the show I actually loved it! That shit was hilarious. I was looking forward to Trance v Drago because the last one was a good showing, but that's ok. Sean McGee: Someone's riding high right now huh? Nah, good for you. It was a huge win at 'Lution, and while I'm not certain what's in that F.I. it's good to see you walking around with some confidence. I'm going to need you to go back and rewatch Certified Greatness though and remember what happens when you try to step up to me. Mugen: I can't believe this is the first singles title of your career. Definitely well deserved and I'm psyched to see what you do with it! I really wish that you/Pugh had been a fully fledged angle because I feel like it could have been so much more, but I understand he wanted out of OCW for the time being. As far as one off's go it was a very good match. I think you're a great guy to be holding the belt as we enter this "Next Gen" Era (despite being one of the longest going members here xD). Pugh: Obviously we don't get along very well, but I'd be wrong to ignore everything you've done for OCW. So thank you very much. And thanks for leaving a new version of the arena behind, you did a great job on this one. I really like the X-Tron. Jacob Trance: Are you trying to stir up shit with everyone? You got in Drago's face before dodging the match, sent your boys to do something with Rebelution, and then you come out and try to make a statement on my time? Haven't we been through this? If you go down this path you need to remind yourself that you're not dealing with the same Cody Storm anymore....... Tobin Frost: That was a pretty good match with Cut-Throat. I half expected a Tobin Bomb to come after you kicked out of the first finisher, but it was still a good showing none-the-less. I think what you said in the ring was pretty spot on considering how things have gone the last week and a half for you, you have to look at it as a new year and a new beginning. And I didn't even think about the short list you made it onto by main eventing 'Lution. Cut-Throat & Bobby Minio: I'm doing the two of you together for the fact that I think if this show was supposed to be about setting up a new generation going forward, the matches that you two put on give a lot of promise. You both faced off against guys that are more or less veterans around here given some of the longer standing members are gone now and you both looked fantastic. Cut-Throat beat the last #1 contender to the World Title, and Bobby, a guy that hasn't always been the most successful in the ring gave me a run for my money. I think if this match was booked when Bobby and I were actually at each other's throats it may have been a little bit different, as I probably would have played thirsty as all hell. But I played my normal Riot match and Bobby showed the fuck up! That makes me very hopeful, because you're going to be extremely successful if you can bring your stick skills up to the level of your mouth. I think this was a good show overall. We all need to start proof reading our material before we send it in though. I know I made a few typos, and I saw others do the same. I think a big strength of the show was that it seemed like everyone got involved with multiple people in several ways. It's not usual that we see a show and don't know exactly who's working with who. I got interrupted by Trance, Bobby, and Sean this week. Drago and Trance had a verbal standoff while Drago's beefing with Rebelution. Trance sent Eli to go after Rebelution. I have no real clue what's going to happen, and for a show right after a ppv, especially the biggest of the year, I really like that everything is so up in the air. Apologies to Parker that you're back doing this, and that the first week everyone kind of screwed up (I know I certainly did). I appreciate it either way.
-
Also I screwed up and forgot to re-paste the URL to the entrance for the RP between myself, The Blacklist, and Bobby. So for anyone who wants to know why D was playing air guitar all of a sudden xD: https://www.dropbox.com/s/7vn4r2gxtiqsf3g/Blacklist%20and%20Cody%20Storm.mp4
-
We don't agree on a lot of things Parker, but I'll take Dushku over Gellar anytime!
-
Yeah, it's just spinning in circles on my end
-
I forgot to ever answer this. My powerbomb has some motion in it. After I lift the person up I take a few steps, and during that motion I can use the stick to point the powerbomb in the direction I went it to go in. Also, I hate Tibby now because that definitely is the image that will be burned into my head as well, and it's a scary one! By the way, Crowe's actual filling out of his MOTN/SOTN/EOTN reminded me: are we doing the awards ceremony? MOTN: The Ironman Match. I think the fact that they were able to entertain us (or at least me) for thirty minutes in a single match is pretty crazy, and as good as some of the other matches on this card were it definitely gives them the award for this even without all of the extra emotional ties the match had. Spot of the night: I'm not going to vote for myself on this because that's rude. I'd vote for The Blacklist's dropkick/knee spot but as Crowe rolled out of the ring right after it didn't come off as well as it probably should have. I think I'm going to go for Dupree's Dragon Shout off of the ladder because even though I know the moves in this game pretty damn well, I completely ignored that, that was even a possibility and marked pretty hard for it.
-
That glitched spot, I can't even imagine how much they hated it. It would have been AWESOME if it had worked like it should have. It would have looked a little goofy because the pedigree as a catch is a little goofy, but it still would have been sick.
-
I guess they tried to fix the old version of LMS and broke it the other way this time. I remember playing one with my old roommate on 2012 and despite getting his ass handed to him he was able to make the match last nearly an hour because he just kept getting up from everything I tried. Glad you all ended up going with the I-Quit match, as like you said, it fit the story better anyway.
-
The idea behind the jacket, which I didn't honestly expect anyone to get entirely, because I wouldn't have if I hadn't done it myself, was to insult Christianity in a way. The cross wasn't your typical gold, I turned it evil (red), and then stripped it away to wrestle in the colors of Israel!
-
Hey, fair enough. I read the match wrong then, I thought it looked fairly non-aggressive on Parker's part, which I took to mean semi-staged.
-
Page 1 I no-sold the star spangled banner #BadAmerican Bobby took shots at just about everyone, but it was a fantastic opening and I like that Jay asked him to do it. As I mentioned earlier I thought the broken record retort was awesome. I don't have an Oedipus complex, I dropped the bitch on her head! It was a little lengthy, but as long as it's good quality I generally don't mind reading it, and this was good quality. Wheeler and JD feel like they've been shafted a little bit here and apparently think they can win the match in ten minutes against former tag team champions. More power to them and I hope for their success. The Cobra get-up xD. I like Seth Rogan to be fair. And I assume you were calling Drago and Bobby the comedy acts of wrestling. Which with Drago makes complete sense, but not with Bobby as he's actively fighting the comedy/gimmicky guys. Unless you just mean his in ring is comical xD. There wasn't any buildup for this match really, but I'm still very excited to see it because it's two of my good friends against two people I don't like all that much xD. In story wise though, it's a great chance for Wheeler and D to prove themself. A win against former tag team champions is never anything to take lightly in the tag division, and a hardfought loss against them isn't much worse. I liked Kindred's entrance, though I think that video was used at one point when Kent dug all of those "entrance videos" up for people in 2011. At least as far as the first 3/4 of this match goes, Rose kind of got his ass handed to him. I felt like Crowe had to be called upon to put up almost all of the offense in the majority of this match. D played well in the first half, but really turned it up in the second. Wheeler killed in this match. There was the "hovering" finisher. But it was done off of a possum pin where the two guys are getting up a pretty much the same time (though in this particular possum pin kick-out animation D was up a little bit faster), but as far as hovering goes I think it's a pretty grey area one on whether or not it's really hovering for that reason. More than that though, how are you going to call that out Jay, but not say anything about the pre-double red Tombstone? It was still an enjoyable match to watch I thought. I'm shuddering just reading the description of the metal screeching. If this was real and I was in the arena I'd be freaking out in my uncomfortableness xD. Another addition to the legend. Annamosity knows the golden rule: Take out the "bad bitch" first and you're the queen. Which I guess is almost as nice as being Queen of OCW right? Page 2 This NPC with Kindred kind of reminds me of the "vamps" in the Matrix Reloaded. The Tombstone spot was pretty sweet. I'd probably have thrown him out too after that performance. I'm interested to see who joins as a replacement. Drago's camera man is playing the role of hype guy. It is your first Wrestlution so you have to go out there and capture that audience in your net! I also really like that you've named him and given him some personality. It worked really well for Dupree/Chuck (or.... Dupree at least. I guess Chucks life has gone to shit). BOO! (I feel like I'm playing a game with my baby niece here xD). He didn't really have to do or say anything, but I'm still ready to see what kind of element he's planning on bringing to the ironman match. Motherfucker really just flew a hot air balloon to 'Lution? Why not just teleport in with your golden transporter of Betterness?! YOU PUT STEIN AND IGOR BEHIND A WHEEL?! That's so sweet, even as much as he hates Suda he can't stand to be without him so he bought a fathead. Oh.... I guess not xD. Solid RP from a terribly expensive imagination. Not going to go into the rush match all that much because it disappointed me heavily. Bedlam was awesome as usual just fucking shit up. But anyway. I really wanted to see Luke win this match. Look at it on paper, two alts, a guy who has the consistency of air, and a first year OCW'er who could have used a win at his first 'Lution. But he got eliminated first. I was very disappointed. And the guy I would have liked to have won the least ended up winning. Nothing against you as a person Jookie, I just don't trust you to actually gain any momentum and use it, so I'd rather you not gain it at all when others could have it (that complaint sounds kind of familiar....). We also thought you were sane at one point Trance. Boy were we wrong! This was a very good RP. Though not truthful in the least, dude is always trying to tell me he's God xD. He's the heel but I still hope he whips Raze's ass later on in the night because he just plain deserves it. Mugen's pulling a Jeff Hardy with the ladder over here. Damn, Mugen finally grew a spine. This could have some interesting developments. C-2? Page 3 The Garden RP was awesome! KD is probably one of the few guys here that if he tries can make a voice that could convincingly fit his CAW. I was in a skype call with Wheeler and D while watching most of 'Lution, so I misheard the video and thought I heard Ernsmore was coming back when he was listing his victims. This was much better xD. Lexington is trying to draw the dark side out of Tobin, and I can't thank him enough. Let me make it plain, if Tobin doesn't tap into that, he's not going to survive this main event because I will maim him. I liked that Tobin didn't say a word in this segment, Lexington said everything that needed to be said, and it more effectively communicated Tobin's frustration than it would have if he had tried to verbalize it. I hope Our Hero has someone to fight in his corner or Leon's going to have an easy waltz to company control here. Actually, maybe that's a good thing for me personally..... Drago vs Cobra was an O.K. match. It seemed a little thirsty, but at the same time we have to remember these are still two "newer" guys so it's excuseable. Eeire does have a solid claim to being a Bombshell original, not that, that's necessarily going to help her in the ring. I'm also terrified of the concept of someone shitting piss. Page 4 There we go! Johnny Law is the getaway man! Oh, that did not go as planned at all for Drago. Not all that often you see feuds continue past a 'Lution. It should be interesting to see how the hunt progresses. So they changed it to an I-quit match interesting. Out of curiosity if either of you read this is it because you thought it fit the storyline better or because there's something wrong with the LMS game mechanic? I haven't played it in a while (maybe ever on this version of WWE, I don't remember), so I'm just wondering for future reference. I wholeheartedly expected Pine to win this because she's fucking huge! But Eerie came through and now the title is back with the team that never should have lost it. JUSTICE (except the real kind)! Marriage isn't something I'd have seen (again at least) for Dimsmore with the way he changed over the years. Lacy must mean a lot to him, which is interesting to see for the character since he hates just about everyone else xD. Good to see an RP with everyone involved, speaks to the effort as getting everyone an RP in time can be a pain in the ass. Mugen better be careful or Lacy's going to take him out before the match starts. Buffness also be careful or he's going to poke one of those girls' eyes out when his muscles explode cause he's used too much of a certain substance. Why you gotta put Lacy in the garden though? She didn't do anything to you! Page 5 How are you going to disrespect your boss like that Trisha?! You may be Yale trained, but I still expect Lindsay to get crushed! So we have confirmed Dupree doesn't really like the Suda-fathead like I had thought earlier :/. You know, I've not consciously thought a whole lot about the fact that this ironman match determines who will take over OMG. I just kind of thought OMG was going to stay fractured for the rest of all time. Tobin's hype video was pretty sweet. Started from nothing now he's here! Except it's just not going to be enough! I liked the grayscale touch and how you showed Tobin unlocking the inner madman. Somehow last night I skipped McGee's solo RP. Guess I need to take a look at it real fast. Contract was up *cough* yeahright! *cough* Awww, did they upset you by pointing out how the better part of Cerberus has only gone up the ladder since parting? Poor buffness :P. All you have to do is win that FI and come at me bro! (Maybe, maybe it's not that easy. We won't know until we figure out what's in that damn case this year) God damn it Rufus. The Minio/Cut-Throat match was pretty good. Frankly I think in terms of putting on a match they were kind of fighting an uphill battle against the game mechanic, because sometimes the game decides to knock you out forever in matches like these off of nothing because of the match type. But it was still a good showing. I kind of wish the ending had been a little more climactic, but it was still a vicious headmove on the outside, so I suppose that's climactic enough to finally put Bobby down. Page 6 Don't use me to sell your RP Raze. There's no reason that a record of my history should have been a fourth of your RP xD. Trance is over here acting like his family is more important than winning. What garbage! The light metaphor was good, and definitely true cause you won't let anyone shine a light on your message, then they'd realize how fake it is! For real though, I hope you win tonight. Before I talk about the match itself I want to say I was not digging when everyone was being told that the FI was going to be just a trophy this year. That totally kills the meaning of it, and the name Future INVESTMENT would seem to be a total farce. The way that it's explained before the match started by the commentary I actually kind of like it. It's more like an investment. You usually invest on potential without knowing for sure which way your investment's going to go in the long run, and the new "reward" seems to fit that name better. It also makes it more intriguing because you don't know what the reward is as an audience (though maybe not more really, because it was exciting never knowing when the winner would cash in). The match was very good. Much less clusterfucky than normal FI's. I would have been good with any of these four winning (though no offense to Dimsmore, a little disappointed had he won given he's won it before). I'm very happy for McGee, it'll be fun seeing what you get out of this. And if it's a world title shot you know where to find me sir. Nets everywhere! Nati's a fucking dickhead xD. The OMG hype video was intense. I saw most of this when it actually happened, but there were a couple of things that I missed when I was away for that year so I very much enjoyed this recap video. Page 7 I remember being in the Xbox party when Suda was talking about/showing off these new Bombshells to Mugen and Dupree. He was pretty hyped about that, so, so am I. God they need more serviceable three person entrances, not that the Legacy one is bad, but I feel bad when I use it because it's the A-Team's and everyone uses it. SPARTA! Anna took power of the jail cell just in time to leave xD. Think she's in a good enough condition to fight tonight after this? This match went how it "should" have went but how it shouldn't have at the time time. Trance wanted to give this match the storybook ending, and Raze benifited from that. As you can see where Trance taunts and takes the irish whip leading to the ending. He wanted to give Recon the win, which was very nice of him and it looked good. But lets be honest, Trance and Sid should have won this. I was hoping they were going to take it after Sid handed each guy a DVD and Trance went for the 5*, but sadly it was not to be. Tobin's over here telling parables. Whatever helps you man. He says he's willing to do whatever it takes. Good. Page 8 I didn't realize until I saw Bobby's comment that MVP had done any similar promo about the title being power. Sorry if you all felt like I stole it, I haven't seen TNA in a few months now. Rothschild put up way more of a consistent fight than I ever expected her to. I in no way thought she was going to win this. I figured with the way the Bombshell division is pretty story based, they'd have the fairytale ending to the story with the face winning, so the curve ball was actually kind of nice. That was a hell of a punch at the end there! I really have no idea what Nati's going to do here. The match would have been enough as is, more than enough, but Nati's "MADNESS!" just makes it even more a must-see. I think at this point most people saw Parker coming as the guy to take up for JCS. Which is good if you ask me. It was a swerve, but had so much logic to it with the way Pugh and Parker left things that it really wasn't. Then add in how much Parker wants Leon gone, I mean, essentially he already thought he took care of that, so now he's back to finish the job. The entrances were solid. D and Wheeler were quite a bit ahead of me in the show and when they mentioned Godzilla I was like "Oh no...." (not in a bad way) xD. Everyone also knew Pugh was going to lose the match because the Leon CAW needs an exit. That being said, the match was still a solid one. Pugh controlled it for me than I had predicted, but I think part of that may have been because the ending was predetermined as it didn't look like Parker was going all-out. Page 9 From "All-Black-Everything" to Your World Heavyweight Champion. This Trance RP here basically reiterates everything I said about the match xD. It'll be interesting to see where Trance goes from here. I think we all should have known there would be an entirely separate video for entrances xD. It was well worth it though, the entrances alone were awesome. Kind of reminded me of how OCW of old handled the Jaysin World Order. Everyone comes out and then everyone dies and goes away. Just how it should be! This match may be one of the only ones that could have gone thirty minutes and still have been entertaining. I loved Nati's part in it, but ultimately I'm glad he got replaced because it allowed us to really focus on the two most important parts of the match for the last half, or third, or however long it was, of the match. I don't think I personally would have gone the way they did with all of the falls in that these are moves that most people kick out of all the time in matches with these two, yet here they sold them hard. But ultimately most people would probably have gone with a ton of near falls instead, so it was nice to see something different. It was a fantastic last match, if it is indeed Dupree's last match. I hope not, but if anyone's actually going to stay away from the ring I could see it being him. I know you'll still be around, but good luck going back to school man. Page 10 Cool to see a Kliq esque moment here. I was hoping we'd see Pato at some point, as he hasn't been on this Lution until now. I made a video to go before the ME, but either Jay missed it or didn't like it very much. The idea was for us each to have a video showing how we got here in our careers, then a third devoted to our feud. It's a little small, cause I realized most of best moments were either in multi-mans (i.e. didn't yield good quality footage for a recap video), were videos in which we avoided contact with each other to build suspense for the match itself, or we wrote it out so it couldn't be used in a recap xD. But here's the video in case anyone's interested: https://www.dropbox.com/s/4do1fe4b0zuket6/StormFrost%20hype.wmv I hope everyone thought the ME delivered. This was probably the most consistent Lution I've ever seen. I thought just about every match delivered what it was supposed to or went beyond what I had expected. The written content was awesome and I loved being apart of this event. I feel like I kind of lucked into the Main Event in that I got my title shot fairly close to 'Lution time, none-the-less I loved having the chance to go out and main event. I also want to make sure that I say thank you very much to Theo. Most didn't think I could deliver any type of quality content (some probably still think that xD) and didn't want to work with me because of that. But you stepped up to lend me a hand when I was kind of treading water and I very much appreciate it. I can see why Nate Ortiz is such a hallowed name around here.
