He says in the thread for the show where he confesses his love for me.

It's like looking into a sad mirror. I'm sorry Majin.
-
piece of shit

Having sufficiently tested the waters, I have decided Matsuda is coming to turmoil exclusively. I want to add the TV title to the fold.
-
Accurate.

He is Indian, this is just a racist company that saddled him with a Arab gimmick, obviously. Don't ever question Matsuda lore, I know where he went to high school!

Why do we have juggalos in 2016??

Not going to try to cut up a quote because I'm on my phone, but this is to Ed. I've really got nothing against Joe, like I said I'm coming into this show with just about 0 knowledge on almost everyone involved here. So without bias, having not spoken to you guys or heard any plans and based solely on his match and short promo this week, I had assumed he was an alt. Like I said in my review, his caw doesn't look bad, it's just very plain. Well made but doesn't stand out. I'm glad I apparently lot a fire under him, but it's like I told Jay, if you don't have much character, you better be winning like a young Cody Storm. If you've got neither, then it becomes hard to come back every week. I also agree with you on the Kass Malu match. That's a very Nate thing to do :P
-
I know you guys are new, but usually after someone writes a five page essay picking at people, this is the part of the threat where you pick out your parts and argue with me. It's how you get discussion you see. I mean I know I'm right, but I'm not God. Feel free to share your opinions. You don't get better in a circle jerk.
-
If you're talking about what I said don't feel that way. The grading scale is purposefully brutal to make you guys strive for the impossible ten. There's a reason the best stuff on the show was a seven. A ten on this scale is compared to the best stuff I've seen on the site, a 5 is more like average and servicable but nothing more. If anything take the positives, I said you're a good rper with a good look and move set. Take the criticism and proceed accordingly.

Malu’s a great example of a basic look that still conveys character. I get exactly what he is immediately. Kassidy Hayes has a nice little intro video. Definitely looks like a Hot Topic kid for sure. Still a good looking CAW though. Marylin Manson too? So on the nose. Have fun at your midnight showing of the Night Before Christmas, don’t forget your Invader Zim backpack! Props for not going Black and red though. Other colors can be spooky too if you let em. This should be a good match up though, I have this one pegged for MOTN without having even watched it yet. Good back and forth to start, no chaining even, I like the pace. This XBOX stuff is ruining my IMMERSION! Kassidy plays like a heel, running out of the ring just to run back in is very Matsuda. I miss Pato. Malu is about the borderline of “change your moves up you’re fighting a huge guy. I GUESS you could believably pick him up and suplex him but you would have gotten a lot of extra points from me if you had changed your game up. Uh oh, Malu is picking up steam. Lets see what Turmoil has got! Once again Kassidy has the most heel play style I’ve seen tonight. Its a great sign when I can get a read on your character without you saying a word. Both men are red with finishes, this could go either way. Oh snap 2.9 kickout. I would have been completely fine with Kass going for a count out victory there. Kassidy with the big win nonetheless. Fun match, could have gone either way. LIGHT to DECENT 7 A little background on Dustin White. I still don’t have much to base my opinion on him. He seems nice enough, so a babyface I guess? The tag line is a bit basics. I’d like to see more personality and more character. But you’re new so it will come. Don’t be afraid to branch out, basic characters get forgotten. One of the benefits of me coming into this show completely fresh is I don’t know most of you guys from a hole in the wall. There’s no stigma in my head towards any of you. Eventually if I don’t see promise you subconsciously get filed under “skip” or “skim” and theres plenty of those guys on Riot. That makes it a heck of a lot harder to get over with me, so use this valuable period to try things and grab my interest. If you got nothing else from this review, STAND OUT! LIGHT to DECENT 4 So I’ve just learned that B-17 has some history with Mugen. Its never a bad idea to work with established guys. It instantly makes you seem important if you have the attention of certain guys. ICP in the building! I’m going to have to fix that for you guys… Turmoil is really looking like the place to be! Like Europe trying to carve up Africa. I’m interested to see if the Turmoil originals can hold there own, because I’ve heard through the grape vine that much worse is to come. Overlord? Really? Good promo. Good development for everyone involved. Good ending to the show. However Mugen tried to intimidate the judges so I have to rate this RP a LIGHT 0. Just kidding. Decent 7 stuff. I’ve very interested in the future of Turmoil.

Up next is Vincent Winter’s promo. My first thought is the Wyatt Family, which is unfortunate because we already had a Wyatt Family rip off not too long ago (it might even still be going?). I will however say I love the name. The Orphanage is a cool name. But I implore you to skew much farther toward freak show/circus freaks because spooky cults are overdone, and you even said “Family”. And the whole “you guys are normal, we’re freaks” thing doesn’t work when you’ve got two unrelated spooky masked guys that showed up earlier in the show. Too much unrelated spooky and unrelated bikers. Mind the landscape, branch out accordingly, and PLEASE mind your recent history! You’re a solid enough promo though, and I still like the Orphanage name, just don’t fall into a lame cliche. DECENT 5 on this one. Short promo from Joe here. I guess he’s mad about getting slammed and losing tonight but that’s all I get from him character wise. I wan’t more out of him. STRONG 3 Oh good, I hope to learn more about Gentleman Jack now. He’s funny for one, and I like the relationship between him and Barry. There’s something to be said about a guy who can lose as bad as he lost and still come out on top from a character standpoint. This skill is going to serve you really well, don’t get discouraged in losses, let it affect your character. Grow and become more interesting like Jack here. Good promo. LIGHT to DECENT 7 Up next is Black vs White. Ain’t that the truth. From moment one I’m very impressed with Dennis’ presentation, a nice little intro video takes a lot more effort than it seems and it doesn’t go unnoticed. As far as generic vanilla midgets go, Dennis is the full package, great look, presentation, a good promo. I don’t really fully understand his character or motivations from just one night, but I’m impressed none the less. Don’t get me wrong Danny, you’re still about three leagues lower than me, but I will say this show has put you on my short list of “guys who are maybe worthy of working with me eventually possibly”. Congratulations. (I’ve watched your intro three times now, probably because it’s my entrance.) Wait is Black a White guy and White a Black Guy? Naw he looks arab. The look is alright, not much to it. I don’t really get what your character is at first glance in the least, unfortunately. If theres one thing I’ve learned about the business its to “sell for the cheap seats”. That applies to everything, including your look. The holes in Danny’s tights are questionable. Who wants to see a man’s shiny ass IT bands? Match seems pretty even, although Danny pulls ahead with that coup de gras. Danny has a better understanding of spacing than Dusty. OH now I get it, you’re just Finn Balor! Boy is trying to hit a finisher in the late game to put someone away while maintaining FPR tough or what?? Dennis has got him dead to rights and two damage shades different but between waiting for a FPR clean moment, the opponent to have no reversals, and having enough stamina to do it its a nightmare. Match was fine, nothing particularly special either way DECENT to STRONG 5. There you go, Sebastion Abbot! Now I know who you are. Good enough set up for a match next week. DECENT to STRONG 5.

I had a feeling we’d be hearing more from Jackson again tonight. This time with a more complete looking promo. You guys are telling a good story between your promos, and I’m partial to the dueling promos through out the night school of story building. Like I said before its a good thing when I can jump right in and understand the characters and the story being told, so good job with that, although this muddied the waters a bit for me again with the alignments, not entirely sure who I’m rooting for without the full history, but thats not your faults. STRONG 6 to LIGHT 7 on this promo. Carlos as in Cruz? Same rules apply to you bucko! Not everyone is as smart as me so introduce yourself! Welcome back none the less. He must be on some good drugs because we retconned DJACK ever winning FI. This is an interesting take on an old character, and if handled properly it could make for some good storylines. But I’m not talking dumb cartoon split personality schizophrenia, I wanna see the real thing—how the medicine effects your personality, how you cope with it… really multi layered stuff. DECENT 6 for the return. Up next is some ladies action, in which I’m involved. I’m not going to comment much on storyline and stuff because like I said, I’m involved, but I will comment on a few things I noticed in my first Turmoil experience. For one Sophia plays the roll of “New Face of the Women’s Division” wonderfully, the CAW and moves all do a great job portraying this, which makes the story all the more interesting when she’s confronted by an OG like Casey, much to everyones surprise. Business it picking up. Make sure you take advantage of the legends you have coming through here. Learn from them and build on their backs. And do what every you can to try to work with them. They’ll legitimize you. I’ll also say now, going into this match, I assumed all you Turmoil people were garbage people on the sticks from the way Jay tries to protect you from everything. Sophia actually plays quite well, good clutch reversals and knows when to use them. Good example of how a champion should play. Not going to rate stuff I’m involved with. On to the next one, Gentleman Jack instantly stands out with his not butt rock theme that fits his laid back entrance motion nicely. I know he’s been RPing around so I’ll have to check out and learn what the guys about. Big Ed looks good, although he’s another bearded biker white guy. His advantage is that he’s huge, so he stands out. Kind of reminds me of a Kevin Nash type. I like the moves on Ed, but if I see him touch the top rope for anything I’m politicking him out of the business hoot. Decent back and fourth, everyone is out of there reversals pretty quickly. A lot of black and purple gear on this show. Its like Turmoil’s black and red. Big Ed seems to have taken control at this point, taking it to the outside. He seems at home there. This is quite the beating and we’ve got a ways to go. Aaand Ed finally puts him out of his misery. Whats this? Joe’s back? Surely two burley white guys are friends—oh never mind. Good editing here. Felt cohesive. Match was pretty one sided and went too long, so I’ll give it a LIGHT to DECENT 5. Post match was nice though, that segment gets a DECENT 6.

B-17 is another good promo, I’m noticing a trend here. Turmoil might actually have a competitive quality level to Riot on that front. Unfortunately the problem with the B—show is that you have to be BETTER than the A-show to even get noticed. Keep that in mind. A pretty standard “destroying of vehicle promo— —THIS JUST IN— I have been informed that Joe is a main. Heres some constructive criticism, because he’s not a bad CAW, just a really boring one. I believe you’re capable of putting something good together, you just need some direction. You see, we have about 4-5 white biker looking guys, and I only know the names of one of em. If you want to get noticed, you need to stand out. I’m not saying you need a stupid gimmick like the Nightmare or anything, but everyone should be doing SOMETHING to stand out from the crowd, especially with the number of guys we have on the roster. I believe in you. Go watch a movie and get inspired. —BACK TO THE REVIEW— As I was saying, the destroying of a vehicle is a tired trope, however I like that I’m seeing your character seemingly unravel over this conflict. Also, you defined Jackson for me, so a bonus for that. Great control of the keyboard from someone who can’t even control his butthole on a podcast. I’m feeling a DECENT TO STRONG 6 on this one. Solid work. I don’t know who Seb is. Is his name just Seb? Make sure you introduce yourself to the audience at least once in an RP, you never know who’s reading for the first time and you always want to make a good impression. Nice to see Danny getting involved in a few different places. Thats a sign of a good character and that might even help me remember his name. More destruction of vehicles, your road agent really should have made sure you guys aren’t overlapping stories. DECENT to STRONG 4 on this one. I didn’t learn much from this promo, although it did set something up for the future, which everyone should always strive to do. Nothing worse than a promo that you get nothing out of. Now I’m PRETTY SURE Loki is an alt, just based on hearing it in the past, but I love his look. Nobody on the roster looks anything like him and you can tell exactly what he is from the moment he walks out. Good job to whoever’s alt he is. He’s definitely not basic. Sinister Scott also has a cool look… unfortunately he looks a LOT like Crossbones, at least in his intro. You might want to put a different flair on it to stand out. Onto the match, I believe this is Sinister’s first match? Those leather daddy tights make you kind of look like one of Nathan Carter’s boys. Loki seems to largely be in control in the beginning, dictating the pace. Sinister, I don’t get a lot of personality from your move-set or play style. By the looks of you, I assume you’re another spooky guy but what kind? For what reason? Loki is pretty dominant here at this point. Slit throat taunt and flex arm taunt? You’re sending mixed signals a bit. You got your butt kicked, kid, interested to see how you bounce back. LIGHT to DECENT 4 on the match. I didn’t get much out of it but the FPR was good enough. Post match promo, see this is what I’m talking about introducing yourself in every promo. With zero knowledge, I get exactly what this story is about two lines in. Good job. Good personality from everyone in the promo, I can easily figure out what and who everyone is supposed to be. Where is going? Hell if I know but I’m interested and entertained. LIGHT to DECENT 7 on this one. Favorite RP of the night so far, reminds me of a Dupree promo. Let this be a lesson to you guys that this is fake fake wrestling. You can kind of get away with whatever you want, don’t be afraid to get outside of that basic bubble. (CONTINUED)

In all seriousness Turmoil is pretty nice. At least from my standpoint it seems like a bunch of fresh faces trying to get noticed, which appeals to me for some reason. Be blessed with my review and take notes on my high level opinion. Going to try a grading scale, don’t be discouraged, it will be the most stern but fair grading scale ever crafted. Nightmare looks good and RPs well. I know its been touched upon in a few places, but I’m interested to see how you are able to carry a big scary monster in a world where you may very well lose or be embarrassed. I’m not saying it’s not possible, but it would be a testament to you as a player and/or character if you can make it work. I know I myself have sent some spooky monsters to the soup kitchen in some Hello Kitty tights, so good luck to you. As for the content, it’s like a said a solid, well written first(?) promo, and it sets up for your first(?) match. I don’t sense it setting up for anything but the immediate future, but you’re new so it shouldn’t be expected. I’m feeling a DECENT to STRONG 5 on this promo. It does what it needs to do, not much more. I haven’t had the pleasure of reading much of your stuff, Jackson, but I’ve always gotten the sense that you’re a big time character guy. It’s also good to see you promo-ing when not booked, it would be admirable for someone else but its to be expected for a show’s champion. This is literally the first Turmoil I’ve ever watched, so this problem might come up on a few occasions—I may be wrong on how things are and what people are, but I’ll do my best. This seems like the set up to more, then again you have a baby so participation is enough. Are you heel or baby? Couldn’t really get a sense from this. Im feeling a DECENT to STRONG 5. Once again, does what it’s supposed to do, hopefully theres more from you in the show with some direction. I assume Zhivago is an alt and doing the honors. Not much to say on him based on his entrance. I’ve seen some stills in the forum, but Nightmare definitely looks great in motion. Looks a heck of a lot like Matanza Cueto from Lucha Underground, but thats coming from the guy who debuted looking a heck of a lot like Muta. Don’t let your influence define you, and don’t be afraid to branch out and become your own thing in the future. Onto the match. This big monster starts the match chaining. One of my complaints about the game. Its bad real fake wrestling psychology, not that its your fault. FPR seems pretty on point. Nice little back and forth, Nightmares moves suits him pretty well. Reversal into the power bomb was neat. I think I misjudged nightmare’s size, if he really is Matanza he’s not tall, just wide. Seeing him in motion Joe looks alright as far as generic beard and goes. Nightmare has Joe pretty dead with five minutes to go. REF BUMP. I wish the ref would stay down long enough in these games for someone to capitalize. A lot of top rope action from these two heavyweights. Oh snap this alts trying to win! Solid finish, good debut match for Nightmare. STRONG 5 to LIGHT 6. Bonus points for having good FPR on your first match… if this really is your first match. Danny RP. Having some existential crisis. Solid character based promo. Out of every RP so far, I’ve got the best sense of your character based on this. Good intrigue, looking forward to see how it develops in the future. LIGHT 6 to DECENT 6. Good display of characters. Are you and your manager’s name Black Cox on purpose? (CONTINUED)
