Here are my thoughts. And my thoughts are right. So all of you eat a dick and take it as gospel. For starters, this Cody hasn't done anything good lately is bullshit. Cody's had one of his best years and is a highly under rated member of team reliable. The guy shows up show in and show out without having much direction, which is hard as hell to do and you have to be decently talented on the mic to do so. And this thing with Leon and Sean very well may be the thing that gets both guys over the hump, as they both have under achieved despite activity and RP and Game talent. You're going to be ragged on for teaming with Leon. Leon is the Vicky Guerrero of OCW. He's instant heat. Do I think in character you guys are heels? No. You're frustrated midcarders who have come together to make a point, and you are smart to use a vet to make you look more serious. The true test is getting over the "Leonhearts Boyfriends" hump and MAKING everyone take you seriously. Leon was a nancy gayboy bitch when we brought him into LOTUS, I knew that, Pato knew that, but we made Leon work for us. Leon is versitile, if you take the reigns hes a great ally to have. This is your moment, make a statement and dont squander it. You have our attention with this angle. Find people to work with and put together an entertaining program. That's how you get title shots. Thats why the OCW titles are more prestigious than the shit they have in RoC. Sure, the completely win based title hunt is romantic and sounds nice, but at the end of the day you have someone who was good as hell but flaked (ie: Simon Divine) waltz in take the title and leave with it. That doesnt happen here. You have to earn title shots over years. Sure random title matches happen (Dupree's win is a prime example) but if you don't step up to the occassion you can rest assured that the next time you get a one on one shot at the champ it will be earned. Does it suck? Yes. But in real wrestling you see alberto del rio vs sheamus for 6 months, and thats just the way it is. You have to prove you have something to offer to the big story and you'll get it. Which brings me to my next and final point--the cliquey nature of the title picture is tough with all the titles. The champion has the right to work with someone who will put in half the work and put on a good match at the end of the month for a 3 month program. The champion doesnt have to give a shot to a Valmont who might flake halfway through a promising feud. Its annoying and it demeans the championship. But here is what I said a few months ago with the "TR vs Mayhem" drama that took place--beware of cliqueyness. Its convienient, it guarentees quality, but inevitably someone who doesnt deserve to be is left out and feeling sore about it. Its a slippery slope, but its not too late to fix it through communication. Cody, its not impatient if you want your title shot and you ask for it. Go to Dupree. Go to Parker. They know you can write, they know you can put on a show. I seriously doubt that so long as you arent interupting something that they had planned months in advanced (people who succeed write 3 month programs!), that they would say no. Its tough tacos but you have to endure. Parker is a great example. The RoC title compared to the OCW title is a freaking DM championship. Debate with the Devil: CHILL FAKTOR Edition! Against my better judgment, I'm at it again with another episode of Debate with the Devil! Merry Christmas to all and to all a good fight. I've got my PAMYPAMYREVOLUTION blaring on my new headphones and I'm ready to go. Lets get this show on the road, shall we? Bonus Round: Is there a reason why Chill Faktor is spelled wrong? Is it related to something sweet from back in the GOLDEN YEARS of TWO-THOUSAND-AND-SEVEN or is it just to be edgy like HOTWHEELZ? Not up for debate… just a legitimate question. We start the show off with Dupree a little bit out of his element, sure we're back to Dupree TV, but his mannerisms and words seem a little… uncomfortable. Ignoring the obvious swerve at the end, we saw a different side of Dupree. A little more violent, a lot more about himself, and a lot less concern for the safety of others. Question: Did you see the heel turn coming? We all know Jay likes to "slow burn" everything, but sometimes the intentions become obvious a little too soon. Would you have done it differently? How would you have booked the ultimate face turning into a bad guy? Can OCW afford to lose it's greatest face? My thoughts: Although I like how this storyline is turning up, I have a feeling that I would have liked it if it was more sudden. If it was at a show like the 8 Year Anniversary to close the show, out of nowhere, and with a good month of no content to left the deed set in. I agree with Hollywood about the rookie rush. It ended up being a big win for Kain, who I think will go somewhere with this momentum, but what you rookies don't understand yet is that Ppv matches aren't just given to you. You may never get another Ppv match again and you have to do something to make it memorable. And the bigger the Ppv, the harder it is to make the cut. If you think your going to have a match at Wrestlution without 2 months of build up you're sorely mistake. Debate with the devil later tonight maybe. Will you guys even use them?
