And my two cents on the matter, Pugh's character has been the same since he came back, and he was garbage for the first year or two on the sticks. Now he's a beast and we all forget that. You gotta start somewhere! As for his title shots, the way the story worked out is that Matsuda literally gave a title shot to the winner of Minio/RK three months ago, picking the winner assuming they would be the best competition. Minio loses, and Matsuda wants nothing to do with him. The HC title is basically given at random, and Minio managed to win a triple threat, and is then able to bring something that would compell Matsuda to fight him again. Now, Matsuda wants nothing to do with him again!

I agree that the show was pretty repetitive, but I think that doesn't make the show bad. I think some things are being built going forward, and there were some nice spots throughout the show. I would have liked to see Cody in a real match, though.

I didn't get the sense that anyone was damning you for the short RPs, but maybe I just read it wrong. I enjoyed it actually. I think your problem sometimes (because of MUH ENGLISH MAJOR) is that you can drone on in an RP. You basically cutting it up essentially eliminates the problem, you get to tell a longer story with out dragging it along. As we see with guys like Valmont, a long RP ≠ a good RP. Good on you for calling an audible (MUH FOOTBALL MAJOR). As for match-o-the-night, I'd definitely rank Mugen v. Dupree up there. Great back and forth action, a lot of reversals, and plenty of nice spots. I'll be damned if Mugen isn't a main event player after carrying his fair share of this feud and playing this well in the match. Also not to toot my own horn in a match I was in (3!) The hardcore match was everything the division has been missing. I've always considered it an unnecessary title, but a brutal match like that makes me reconsider. ALSO tooting my own horn again (though the credit goes to the other guys in the match), the Bombshell match told a great story, and its cool to see that kind of psychology in a match.

I could see why you might think that. I myself, am trying to treat the pay per views like something special, and I realized how much I liked doing themed attires after the Bombshell match. I think I'm going to make it my new pay-per-view thing, kind of like Mysterio. Something to look forward to. God I hate Pugh. He's good at his job!

Yeah you were really "beating that ass" 3 minutes into the match when I stopped it. More importantly if obsidian neanderthals could read, you would have seen that I was talking about my pay per view opponents, not some jobber I beat on Riot. Theres a reason why you talk about everyone and no one talks about you. Even after all these years. Cry about video games to someone who cares. I guess I'm out of the fave five again.
