The TrevorMcManus.com logo is in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.* Trevor: I've just finished listening to the announcement released on OCWFED.COM by one Mr Sensation regarding OCW's Road To The Gold tournament. Trevor: Some of the things Mr Sensation said concern me. Trevor: The tournament doesn't concern me. Trevor: None of my opponents concern me. Trevor: The rumble to eliminate the 9th man doesn't concern me. *Trevor adjusts his sunglasses.* Trevor: I can win the tournament. Trevor: I can defeat all of the opponents and have defeated most of them. Trevor: The rumble I will win. And I'm going to make it clear at this moment that if I do win said rumble on RIOT I will be eliminating the one man that has done nothing to deserve his place in that tournament. Trevor: The man who has played politics and bought his way in to that tournament. Trevor: The man thatcouldn't hold that belt for more then three hours should he win it. Trevor: You've guessed it, doesn't take a genius, I'll be eliminating Leonheart. *Trevor smiles and takes a sip of his water.* Trevor: Now to my concerns. Mr Sensation accounced that after this tournament there would be a new hierarchy in OCW. Trevor: And considering that when you look at the tournament, only myself and Leonheart have actually held the OCW Title on a previous occassion, the odds would suggest that there would be a new champion, a new leader and thusly a new hierarchy. Trevor: However. I'm not just fighting for myself in this tournament. I'm not just fighting for the OCW Title. Trevor: On RIOT the man they call Dupree made mention to the old days of OCW, the glory days of the past. He said that he could not bring them back, but all he could do was his best. Trevor: Dupree's statement rings true for almost all the participants in this tournament. Most of them haven't even experienced the glory days first hand, but I have. Trevor: So when I go in to that tournament, I'll not only be fighting for myself, but I'll be fighting for everyone that has come before me and doesn't want to see that title fall in to the hands of someone who isn't ready. Trevor: I'll be fighting for everyone OCW fan that remembers the days of Majin and Guy Fausto and RD Money battling their way to the top before knocking off the giant to win that belt. And I'll be damned if I let some rookie who's barely been here five minutes walk in to a tournament and take that very same prize that so many people worked so damn hard to win! Trevor: So in closing. Perhaps with the new stat system the dragon sleeper will mysteriously become my finisher and it'll be KD that taps out.

Hazard v Hostile Personally I'd like to see people use that "leapfrog" thing after the irish whip in a realistic way. You don't see HHH doing a leapfrog in to his facebuster and you shouldn't either. Hostile does some weird attacking. Like going out the ring and grabbing Hazard from the apron in to the shooting star press thing, even though Hazard blocks and he nails the ref. Hostile seems to not be the best at hitting his finisher. I dunno if he's trying to counter the opponent then hit it off that or something. He pays the price for the weird offence though Hazard just knocks him off the apron. Also looked nice. I admit I "holly shitted" at the jumping kick finisher thing. Overall a good match. But it was too long for an opening match. Again there's not really anything you can do about this. But the length of it as an opening, throw away match would turn me off on a regular basis. LSD V Letuce Letuce's music is too heel now. LSD's entrance has a weird ass intro. I dunno if I like it. It feels kinda detached from the rest of the intro. Letuce needs to be more cautious after tylers. Sometimes he doesn't back up all the way before coming forward again. The match just didn't gel very well. LSD leads with grapples most of the time and letuce leads with strikes so a lot of backing off and starting again going on. Dupree v KD I like KD's music. Believe he's had it for some time now but I haven't commented on it before. I don't like his intro attire though. And his lighting seems to cut out just before he gets in the ring. The start of Dupree's entrance music is good but I dislike rap music for white people. Just doesn't feel right. Dupree is starting out fairly well. He's trying to keep a fast pace using that springboard in the corner and irish whip pull backs. Dupree also thinks he's Ali at 5:53 using a rope-a-dope tactic. KD uses the same HUGE powerslam twice in like a minute. I dunno if it looks more powerful than it actually is but that shit looks powerful as fuck, like a sig move at least. Shame Dupree couldn't get anything going after he kicked out of my first spear....I mean THE first spear. Overall it was a good match, back and forth. I dunno what Parker means that Dupree basically got his ass kicked, I ASSUME he's refering to the finish sequence where he takes 2 sigs a and 2 spears within like 3 minutes. ----------------------------------------------------------- Dane opens the show up with an RP. Getting some things off his chest and recapping what he said to the boss and about the company the previous week. I'm sorry but tell me again why this isn't CM Punk? Hazard and Hostile are apparently gay lovers. No wait, this is just how the EX Division does it, it has even less credibility than I was giving it. I hate it when he says dragonflies as well Al. Dupree does a promo which seems to me is based upon some factual happenings around the forum in recenty days/weeks. This is the sort of "shoot" thing I enjoy. It's not a shoot since it's totally in character but it's inspired by reality so I can actually connect with it.

Then surely I should have seen it at the end of one of my own matches then?

I expected "someone" to be Parker up till now, so it's interesting.

I was simply pointing out that stupid comments like tyhat are completely not needed. At elast I have a point related to the subject we're discussing when I'm being a dick.

Charisma doesn't matter. Watch me vs Lucas Crowe, in the cell. I get a finisher in about 40 seconds. If someone does the 4 strike combo on me I lose all my momentum. It doesn't matter.

The other areas are meaningless. Sub is meaningless. Charisma is meaningless. Tech is meaningless unless you can reach 80 with it. Bottom them all out at 60 and you can max the others easily. I maxed everything useful by only bottoming out two stats.

Grapple - 80 Strikes - 85 Submission - 60 Durability - 70 Technical - 60 Speed - 75 Charisma - 75 OVERALL - 80 -------------------------- I can achieve those stats. Maxing everything that's actually useful to me (grapples, strikes, durability and speed) and bottoming out tech and subs which are useless. The spare points go to charisma which IMO is useless but some people seem to think makes a difference. Comparing it to my current Tech Class stats, I've gained on everything that's useful to me by dropping shit I don't need.

And there's no such stat as hardcore.

Concerned with someone's ability to have 90 speed. And with the fact that someone can have 80 tech which allows for a counter to go directly in to a grapple.

CM Xavier & Vinnie Sensation makes me cringe.

Trevor: Last week I picked up a victory over Brandon Hostile which has been the subject of much controversy. Trevor: It could have been that Bradon could have pinned me if it were not for Vincent Valmont's entrance to the ringside area. I would dispute this but you can all make up your own minds'. Trevor: I chose to take this time to issue a message to Vincent Valmont to not interfere in my match against Dupree on RIOT. Trevor: I don't need your assistance in winning my matches. *Trevor bends down out of the shot of the camera and comes back up with a piece of paper.* Trevor: On this piece of paper are questions I've had e-mailed to me by fans wondering what exactly happened on RIOT. Are me and Valmont working together? Did I ask him to help me out? Trevor: All I can say at this stage is that all will be revealed at a later date, but right now my focus is Dupree and RIOT.

Thought I should post what happened in the actual match with Hostile to do him justice. Normally I don't like to "break the 4th wall" what you see is what you get. But in this case I think I should . The actual match was absolutely amazing. Lots of counters. Finishers hit on either side. Finishers just running out before we could get them off on either side. Signatures being countered. Kickouts. The lot. And ties? You bet. Was a great match but sadly the file got corrupted so we had to go with an editted finish. p.s. There's a simpsons joke in there somehwere.

I will retire if that happens.

Nobody can be arsed to write a promo. Never mind watch every match, all the way through and comment on it (which is basically what commentary is). Even if they did. People would still skip so their effort would be for not.
