Everything you learned about Black History & Culture, has either been from a textbook or television. It is difficult for a normal white american to relate, let alone somebody from across the pond. And that in itself is the reason you think people use it as an excuse. More often than not it's realiity, granted people exploit it, but people exploit anything regardless of race. But those excuses work both ways, what I mean by that is; Employers use excuses not to give us good jobs. Police use excuses to profile us. The Gov't.... you get the picture. I dont know you personally, but I doubt you've been to an all black community, so how could you possibly understand what it's like.
