  1. The T-Bone Suplex was my finisher when I came here in 05 on WM21. And since we've been using SvR it has always been my signature move.
  2. This drama is supposed to be saved for the shows not cards folks! Seriously though the forum rules are simple if someone is an alt or you have a hunch or what ever you don't say anything or post it on the boards at the very least. It doesn't matter who it is you just shouldn't do it.
  3. I agree with this I see people with the dirt/showman perk attempting to use the dirty more or finisher steal before going for their own finisher, just because they can. But it'll just show what kind of people we got here if we didn't know already.
  4. I get what your saying but... They can only use it once, if you reverse that dirty move/finisher steal and ride out the flash its back to even. The guy has that one flasher where he has the advantage of 2 finishers. Just like tech sound and rampage have those 10 seconds or so of an advantage.
  5. Way I see it, its his perk. What else does he get? getting behind the ref, pulling off the turn buckle. It's just like a showman who gets the attempt to steal and his finisher. What's the showman's advantage stealing a taunt, or taunting while diving. To me it even's things out with tech sound, ramage, and hc rejuvenation.
  6. Off all our PPVs this year this was probably the worst one. Not a knock on anyone just the nature of the beast with all the tournies and such. Lack of stories equal lack of RP. But match wise things were pretty solid. Rookie match turned out better than I thought. Will post some more comments later but my mind isn't exactly here right now
  7. If everyone used their profiles to look for finishers we would not need or use the finisher list. In my case the Angle Slam and STFU are my established finishers(used the slam since 05, and I've used the STFU the last 7 months) and I have them listed in the finisher list which is what we have used for some time when finishers are changed and to show what we are currently using not the profile. For everyone, if you change your finishers especially if its an established one its your job to post it in the finisher forum or atl the very least let your opponent know prior or during the match. That way its not a total surprise when you use your new finisher during a match. We'd like to say everyone should watch every match so they'd know, but we all know in most cases that isn't going to happen.
  8. Tune in Tuesday for all this action, plus a few suprises!
  9. Riot has yet to be booked jesus, its not like it's two brands anymore chill out if you're not booked on this show.
  10. On Guy's matches thus far in the tournament he has not played perfect. I think anyone who's watched them all can see that. But neither have his opponents. There's been talk of a lack of strong grapples. From what I've seen they have been at about the same. Parker I believe pointed out the Poe match for only seeing like 1 or 2 strong grabs all match between the two. All of Guys opponents have played as bad as they say he's played. This tournament was supposed to show who could come into the pressure situations play for the win and win without having to walk the grey line. And from the results of this tournament it shows that the majority has failed. On complaints, If you have an issue file the complaint after the match. Don't wait till the day before the show, don't wait until the day after, don't wait a week after you match has been put on TV. Before even fileing the complaint you can talk to your opponent during the match or after about how they played. I know Guy for one has been fine to redo a match when you point out the faults he makes. I know because I've had to do it before. Sometimes people don't notice when they screw up. Next time folks if there's an issue bring it up sooner. Sorry for this I am but I have to. Ya know I really want to know what's with you and Leon every time he says something its a comment like this or calling him Leocwheart and other crap. Is it about him winning an oppertunity to fight for a contendership for the International title or getting a world title shot as the FI holder? Somthing that RD Money has also done although his contendership was for the OCW title and like Leon he lost that match but still ended up with a shot. It's like you're upset that he got the oppertunity instead of you. When Leon got his shot were you not out of action a week or two for storyline purposes? So dosn't that take you out of the equation even if management wanted to put you in the match? Didn't you claim earlier in the year that you didn't want the oppertunity to go for the belt? January and February were perfect chances for you to attempt to make the move up but you didn't. You been the TV champ what is it 4-5 times. It not like you havn't had chances to do big things. Being put against some of the best talent ocw has to prove who should get a chance to ME Summercide for the OCW title isn't a great oppertunity? You had to settle for it. What else was out there for you. I just wanna know.
  11. To clear up the ruling on the hardcore perk. In the thread where we went over the rules from the Summit it was decided that. You can not use the Hardcore Perk once you one of your body part has turned red. As stupid as it does look we cant really regulate and say you can't use the perk in a non hardcore situation. But it is up to the person with the perk to pick the time they use it wisely so that it does look strange. Example: Mace isn't a good guy so he could knock down his opponent and the ref grab the chair hitting himself to pump himself up and hit his opponent with the chair. That would be somewhat realistic but just running out of the ring to save yourself just doesn't look realistic. 80% of the time i use my perk its on accident.
  12. Ok so I wanted to point somthing out. Mace Vs. Guy It was a very agressive match from both guys. But again we see the attacking instead of trying to reverse atleast in my view from both sides. There would be a trick or setup and instead of trying to reverse there would be an attack instead. Noticed this from both, seemed like a high tension match. At one point Mace goes out to use his HC perk and he knocks mace over picks him up does an attack and gets in the ring. Talked to guy he knows he shouldn't have done the attack. Also in a case where the guy is trying to use the perk he shouldn't be hovered like that. But also the rule was established a while ago that you can't use the HC perk after a body part had turned red. And Mace you were red before you used your perk. On the finish, it was fine Guy picked Mace up backed off and ended up hitting the finisher off the reversal. Just watch out for next time folks.
  13. 1. You know what I'm tired of my name being brought up when people feel they aren't getting their do. Every time i've lost a belt aside from the 3way storyline with AJ and Guy, I have stepped asside for 10+ months for others to get their shine time. So anyone who feels this way please feel free to go indepth for me. 2. On the title issue its not like suddenly you are going to see the HC or Pride champs get a shot at the International or World Champs for no reason. It in all likely hood with only occur in situations similar to what we have now with KoOCW. Instead of having to drop their belt or job it out to someone if they were to win that second belt they could defend both. That's it. Were not gonna suddenly see constant champion v champion programs every month "because its within the rules". If you're good enough to take advantage of the oppertunity why not.
  14. Both of you need to stop. Your ruining the thread now. Facts is putting somthing in your moveset that doesn't fit just to get an advantage isn't cool no matter what it is and shouldn't be done. There is no rule on taunts so if someone wants to they can. But ethically in my mind its crappy if it does not fit your gimmick. =========================== Show so far has been alright, i'll comment specifically a lil later.
  15. Hence the issue its only there to make the other guy use which is meh. Just pick a long move that fits your character if you want the long taunt.
  16. Pretty much what Bold said. If you want a long taunt in that spot pick one that fits the gimmick.
  17. Good stuff folks enjoyed working with Smythe this week. Marked for Aries, and Kang vs Steve didn't disappoint me. On a FPR front at near the end of Poe and Mace, Poe reverse hovered Mace which ended up leading to the finish. So just watch out for that in the future.
  18. The finisher was a bit fast. But not fast enough to really complain it was a very small fraction of a second. If you needed 1.0 secs to hit the fin this was like a .8 or .9
  19. 1. It is the wrestler's responsibility to give his theme to the recorder. If that isn't done the recorder can give you no music or what ever they want. 2. When a situation is brought up behind the scenes and delt with like the one involving this match. You leave it behind the scenes. But since you have brought it into the open I guess everyone can know. In the first match you were finishable 6 minutes into the match. And every time Smythe did a move following about 30 seconds in his finisher meter did not move. Is it really fair it the only way your finisher meter moves is from taunting or a reversal? If mics were present it could have been pointed out and the match could have been exited and re-done right then. 3. Then we get this match that was truly disappointing, I see contantly attacking instead of trying to reverse, running, and quick grabs against Smythe who isn't a technical guy so more strong grapples could be attempted. We all know the rules, I've been pointing out the attacking instead of reversing every week. There is no excuse. It is a shame. Now instead of dragging down this show thread please no more post on the drama surrounding the Smythe v Trance match. FPR excluding Smythe who was involved is going to review this match and those involved. As for the show so far so good as far as RPs go.
  20. If he was talking out of character I might be annoyed. But its a promo. Who knows how long he's been doing this or if this is what the places he was in before did things. I don't know I just think thing you can give the guy some feedback without shitting on him. For some people it could make them not want to rp more. That being said DC your type of gimmick hasn't gone over well here and you are putting yourself in a corner so to speak, if you don't go out and win (fairly) then what happens. Brad Bauer is the rookie guy you can look for him for character help if he's around and has the time. And there are plenty of others around as well that if asked could help.
  21. Things i've noticed so far. Again another week were I see people attempting to strike instead of trying to reverese a grapple. If someone hits a set up move on you don't attack, you try to reverse there move. Really disappointed in how that opening match ended. KD accidently does the duckunder on the ref and gets toe kicked and finished before he can reset. That should never happen. Shame... Kang and Fausto was a solid one. Loved the ending. Also enjoying the progression of the Kang Bold saga. VV's situation is interesting looking forward to how it turns out. Glad to get to see the AJ Spoon feud we never got. KOOCW will be nice, the new format changes things a bit but should be good. Good job for everyone getting their stuff done on short notice.
  22. PM him what you are owed and he will pay you. It's simple.
  23. Things that jumped out to me. Seth must be us Nuclear Rogain or somthing because there is no way you can go from a shaved head to corn rows in a couple days. Like the whole not then big boot set up from Mace. Guy being in the ring during Smythe's intro was funny but I got why it was like that. Not being able to have the champ come out last so you just did the intros out order. Was king of hoping i'd see a cutter or SDW to end it but I understand the lowblow and off Smythe's set up no less. Like the ending to the Pride match really good editing to who ever did that, it looked pretty seamless. Note it may just be me, but I would have liked to see you do that without Anton having hit the RKO. Just seemed a little odd that he'd go for a dragon sleeper after hitting hit. Emoheart is interesting, I wanna see where it goes. Congrats the Kang, finally coming through in a fairly high profile match. The clown unifies the belts, can't say I didn't see that coming. Congrats. Congrats to all the winners and losers. Lets see if we can keep the momentum going.
  24. You didn't have to edit...
  25. Calling out someone in RP without letting them know what's up is a no no. I agree with Cross on the ME was to runny and more time needs to be given on the resets. Again folks if someone reverses you or the initiate their attack (striking your or stun grappling) try to reverse the move. Do not just hit the strike or quick grapple buttons. This weeks match that jumped out to me in regards to this was Seth vs Leon. There were a number of times I saw Seth do this. Watch it please.
