Smythe, you're a fucking moron...there is nothing further I an say about that. Nate I appreciate the time you took to review the match. Clearly your account of things was not as POOR as what Smythe made it out to be. Further, the ladder set up in the corner is the SAME as the strike button. I double tapped it while running to the corner to avoid sliding back outside the ring with it. When Poe got up a strike animation occurred. It never touched him, no harm done. Don't you set the ladder up with A. And you attack with X. One of Poe's strikes that MISSED me did come after he was stomping me. This happens in all of our matches, but Jackasses like Deano and Smythe don't comment on it because it doesn't suit them. It looked to me as if you were already on your feet before the strike was even attempted. Jest be missed one as you were getting up but you were up when he went for the punch. Since we have SOOOOOOooooo many rules that are NOT clearly defined in the FPR section, that needs to be updated. People cry about to many rules, but right here is an example of why everything needs to be written out so people can't make excuses. Using foot choke to disarm a finisher is fine ethicially. Its no different than somebody chaining together three quick grapples to do the same thing. Leon got shit for running away from AA's perk a while back. How is this different you use a running attack to get the guy down then drag him, which is irreversable, to the ropes and do a taunt wich pretty much runs out any chance of a finisher before you even do the rope attack. The difference with quick grapples would be that all parts are reversable. If this is ok people might as well start running away from finishers. Further more aren't you more a face now. Why would you be doing the leg choke anyway? Smythe, DO not ever question my climb or decent up any ladder. That is not your distinction to make. Give me your little strike that you're so fucking anxious to give.. Hey, how about you retest me for FPR? Better yet, why don't we have you Record the 10 hours of do's and don'ts that are suddenly around. THAT MATCH WAS NOT BAD...with exception to two or three spots that were still, not POOR or a disgrace as you have made them out to be. I'm pretty fucking livid. I'm livid to the point where I actually just want to fucking leave. And Deano, its obvious why you are taking shots at me. You don't need to do that in order to reach the top of the mountain. But if you insist upon being an asshole, you've gotten my attention. IMO the match was bad. FPR will put it up for discussion and once that decision is made it is End of story.

Here is my interpretation of what went on in the match. I pointed out what I saw. And tried to give my interpretation on what Smythe saw as well as if I thought it was broken FPR as well. These are just what FPR I saw broken accident's and all. My comments are inside the () 3:28 : (Brad is striking Poe, now I don’t know if Brad was going to continue to punch or go for a grapple. But Poe strikes before Brad has a chance to do either. Now at this time this is not against FPR, but it crappy and can lead to many tylers. Try to reverse the moves don’t mash the strike button.) 4:24 : Brad fails to reset after Poe exits the ring Reset after he exits the ring? Are we creating rules now that we are on the FPR Team Smythe? If you create a rule, fucking post it. There is nothing bad about this ethically nor is it against FPR. He slid out of the ring, and I punched him. There was no tyler, there was no knock down or get up. He slid right out to me. He ended up reversing my attack 3 seconds later. This is you looking for things that are not there. (Just like entering the ring when exiting the ring you reset to give your opponent a proper chance of offense.) 5:21 : Poe fails to reset after Brad gets into ring This was an accident. He apologized in game. He was mashing buttons to get up. Stop picking on accidents you asshole. Unless you had a mic plugged into that game, you did not hear the conversation. Accidents happen, it was one strike. (He’s just pointing out broken FPR, yes mistakes happen. Even in a Nate match or a Smythe match they happen. Doesn’t mean it isn’t against FPR.) 7:49 : (Brad throws Poe into the ring punches, while still outside the ring punches him and then gets in the ring and attempts a ground grapple. When someone is on the ground no matter the situation you make a choice either you strike or ground grapple you don’t do both.) 11:47: Poe reverse hover Agreed, no biggie on my account here. I have no complaints about it. 13:56: Bauer attempted hover with ladder Actually no, I was trying to set the ladder up in the corner...I failed I hit the button twice. Cut the witch hunt already... (It looks like you try to go to the corner but then you attempt to ladder strikes as Poe gets up. Setting up the ladder and striker aren’t the same button, so if you were trying to set up the ladder it didn’t look like that. 14:09: Bauer failure to reset after entering ring If you want to get picky yes...clearly he reversed it, what's the issue? (He reversed the second chop, and that doesn’t excuse the fact that you got right back into the ring and started attacking. That is just like reverse hovering.) 14:31 : (Brad you barely let Poe take a step back after the pain animation. You need to let your opponent reset before you step forward, and attack.) 15:05: Bauer weapon attack during pain animation Strikes are permitted during pain animation. Further, you didn't have a problem with Bold STRONG GRAPPLING ME THREE TIMES during our DM for the DM Tag Titles last night. But you have a problem with a weapon strike? (Attacking in a pain animation is not reversible, meaning it is against FPR. You don’t do it.) 15:12 : (Brad you pick Poe up after the first kendo stick attack. And you don’t even let him reset you hit him with the weapon again. The rule on pick ups is for finisher situation’s only. This is a reverse hover.) 18:35: Poe attempted hover NO...this happens Smythe when you are ground striking and tapping your buttons. Sometimes your opponent gets up and you are still hitting the button. CUT THE FUCKING SHIT ALREADY WITH YOUR WITCH HUNT. (It looked to me like you were on your feet when Poe attacked. Looked like an attempted hover to me.) 18:55: Failure to reset after Bauer leaves the ring BOTH Reactionary on both parts. Notice I ran back to reset immediately after the Tyler. Again, you are just picking this match apart. (Let both players reset when you exit the ring. You did so after the attack but it still happened.) 19:15 : (Looks to me like Poe attempts a reverse hover but gets met with a trash can.) 20:18: Poe reverse hover He reacted as I slid into the ring. This is not a TRUE reverse Hover as it wasn't a knockdown get up. There has to be some leeway with our definition of a reverse hover. (He is supposed to allow you time to reset when you get back into the ring. He did not, this was a hover.) 21:01 : (Seemed to me like you using the drag and foot choke with taunt in order to avoid Poe finisher. Ethically that looked bad IMO.) 21:23: Poe weapon attack while Brad is in pain animation He swang before he realized I was going into the pain animation. Not a big deal. Did not cause any issue in my damage or outcome of the match. (If you were not in the pain animation it would have still been a hover, when your opponent gets off the ground you stand up and reset.) 21:47: Bauer failure to reset after leaving the ring HE MISSED A RUNNING GRAPPLE AS I WAS EXITING THE RING. My attack was perfectly legal, and ethically sound. HE MISSED A FUCKING RUNNING GRAPPLE. Jesus, are you blind? (When you go outside of the ring you are both supposed to reset. He missed the running grapple before you were even out of the ring. This one here is close and I can understand why you attacked her. But you are supposed to reset both players.) 21: 58 : (You both needed to reset here looked like a reverse hover to me. I say it because Brad gets up and turns and in about a second attacks as Poe was about to as well. This is why you need to back up.) 22:08: Bauer failure to reset after a tyler NO, he clearly missed his grapple, punch was thrown at the same time. THIS WAS NOT A TYLER. 22:15 : (Brad you pick Poe up and toss him back in the ring. That is fine. What wasn’t alright was that you hit him 3 times while he was on the mat. Picking him up and tossing him back in the ring is the same as picking someone up and backing off. You don’t attack.) 22:42: Bauer reverse hover Again, what FUCKING match are you watching. I REVERSED HIS GROUND GRAPPLE AND STOOD BACK UP. Are you telling me you cannot attack after reversing a ground grapple? (This was alright as you reversed his ground grapple.)

I think he's throwing Mayhem's name out and said he wanted to do somthing with the NA title. Didn't Bold beat Kang to a little while ago aswell? I know Bold really doesn't wanna work with Mayhem but if no one else steps up and he's sitting in limbo he might as well. When it comes to having belts you just have to work with people you don't want to somtimes.

If you saw how that match went in UFC where the guy backed away the whole fight, that's how it looks atleast for me when I see it in a OCW match.

You don't think if you weren't NA champ that you would have been in that 4way for a title shot? Off your wins alone minus the rping with who'se available now for the top belt your right there with anyone else in contention at this moment IMO. Mayhem did shoots, had questionable FPR, shot on Jay back in 06 and still got title shots. Now since then he has made a 180 in terms of his attitude and how he plays for the most part. If he was able to get there with how he was in 06 there is no reason that you won't get there.

malu main evented because spoons internet went down. who else was there for a legitment title shot. there was guy in a rematch and malu who had just been traded over, former CCW champ. That I got for what winning. Not politics I got the CCW title shot from winning and helping out running the only storyline over there for sometime with Gaines. So fuck you for implying that I politic for anything. Why is it that I have not gone for any type of belt since Summercide? Why does Malu not go for anything even after beating just about every contender on the CCW side? Because I want other people to get chances. When I lost the belt at lution one I did not want a rematch. I was forced into a title match, I ended up winning. It was like watching a great movie and getting an ending that was sub par. Still great movie but it leaves you with a bad taste in your mouth. Now on to the rest of the show.

If you gonna use in game belt unlock the HC belt. Nice attempt on the editing looked nice. But I would have prefered seeing just an actual finish for the match.

And notice that he didn't give an attitude until he was called a Jackass. Keep it a civil convo like it was between Tyro and Akeem and there won't be any "burnt bridges".

you are talking about set up moves brad. those are no different from a stun move. what i saw was deano turn to target you. IMO you didn't give him enough time to reset, and you attacked him gaining your finisher. I can understand you saying deano may have run at you rather quickly, but you did do a stun move not a knock down move that he ran at you on. You got right up with not even an attempt to reset and went straight for the toe kick and finisher. deano's animation from the move hadn't even ended when I saw the kick.

Just because we have a deadline doesn't mean we have to wait until that deadline to turn stuff in. I think I said it last month, but if you have personal stuff keeping you from doing stuff fine. This post was more for those who may have gotten their stuff done but just havn't turned it in for what ever reason. Odds are if the deadline is moved up people would still wait until that deadline to turn their stuff in. So it's kind of pointless.

You know why people use the run up and punch technique? Because most people play the I'm gonna back away so my opponent has to come to me game. Which is alright at times but when its done all match its meh. AJ played that way the most of the match against Leon hence a lot of the missed grapples. All Tyro said was that one clothesline didn't fit your guy. I'd agree with that. What I'm getting is that from Smythe is that you pick set up moves and strikes because they are effective not because they fit your character. I could be wrong but thats what it seems like to me. When I get a shot I'll take a look and give my oppinion on it.
