Tyro Kraven Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Tyro's Judgement Leonheart vs Vincent Valmont Leon starts very strong and keeps a good lock on the match. Not much reversing goin on. Both players are pretty much connecting with everything, wich is also fun in a way, loads of moves. But Leon keeps the headstart trough the match. Vincent did get Leon Red/Orange but Leon had the match under control. Match flow: Fun,hardly reversals but loads of moves lol Moveset Leon: Fine Moveset Vincent: Fine ( how do you get so shiny during your entrance,it's eye blinding ) Match ending: Normal --------------------------------------------- Match Score: 7.5 SDW vs CJ Hoppus First things first, why can't a manager just go stand on ringside appron and come down when needed. I hate this view. Going into watching this match i already knew who was going to win since i accidently scrolled down -_- Smythe start out dominant and CJ doesnt seem to catch up. At 5:26 Smythe does a nice manual spear setup wich looked pretty cool. Smythe seems to make a little mistake by hitting his finisher after a ground move(wich isnt allowed i think, not sure),probably confronted he takes this chance to go after heart. Or atleast that's what i tought. Nearing the ending a brawl outside ring follows with CJ flying trough the table Heart try's to save but with no succes. Count out. Match flow: It started as a nice David vs Goliath like theme. Smythe started dominant with suddent momentum rushes by CJ only to be eventually brought back down by Smythe. After the finisher the match decended into RP element and manager brawl and the match was over technicly. Moveset Smythe: fine MovesetCJ: fine Match ending: Original but chaotic, was it part of the match and cut out stuff inbetween or was it scripted? -------------------------------------------------- Match score: 7 An ok match but the outside manager brawl stuff could have been left out of the match and be a seperate RP,but that's just me Parker Steven vs KAAAAANNG James Seems kang is to lazy to put up his ring gear and goes out in street clothing. Match starts with a little video editing. I for some reason am watching the match but can't really get into it. Maybe because of the street wear or because the clash of playing styles. Kang reverses allot but usually doesnt really follow up on it wich leaves Parker to do most of the offense and makes the match really stale to watch. Both players do moves here and there with Parker being in the lead most of the match but it seems there isn't really any chemistry in the ring, atleast not in this match. Match flow : explained above Moveset Parker : Fine Moveset Kang : Fine Match ending: Normal ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Match Score : 6.5 Nate Ortiz vs Cross Match starts with a trade of fury punch. Really liked Cross's version. Nate play's i think a little more agressive then usual wich is always good for a match. Cross really brings it to Nate but Nate outwitts him at almost every turn. Almost everytime i think Nate will prob not reverse that..wrong. Cross showing his frustration 8:46 mark by stomping on the ground, props for that lol. Cross pulls one last final assault as his rampage packs a punch and makes Nate ..yellow orange. But Nate was simply to strong and ends the match with a STF-Nate. Match Flow: Despite Nate only being yellow orange this was not a boring match by far. Cross gave everything but Nate reverse his everything lol Moveset Cross: Good Moveset Nate: Good Match ending : Normal ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Match score: 8.5 I once said on aim to someone i'd prob not give a dominated match higher then 7.5 but i was wrong. This was very entertaining despite the gap in damage. Kage vs Adrian bold Bold with the inring shawn michaels animation...i think he would tear a leg muscle striking that pose but interesting non the less rofl. A match between two people not willing to lose. So this should be good. Starts with an exchange of running clothesline and strikes. First grapple of the match a samoan drop. Bold tosses Kage in the tb and goes for headbutt to Kage, but one does not headbutt Kage..and gets hit right back at him. ( wich i think would hurt allot more coming from a bald head ) Kage plays very strongly this match determined not to go down like some have facing Bold. Bold manages to come back getting momentum with 2 grounds and a Bold press( lou thez..im not to great making up names). Bold needs to get Kage nerves and activates Rampage. Mark out moment right here,as soon as Bold ends...Bam counter Rampage. Entertaining responds,Kage gets his powerbomb in. Now this comes as a suprise. Kage turning red first but i forgot that Bold has 7.5 str so it adds up. But it doesnt take long for Kage settles the score. With both now Red orange the battle for the finisher begins. Kage has first and bids but cant even set up the first and a unlucky animation at the 2nd. But 3rd's a charm and Kage hits his front finisher. Very solid match. Match flow: Struggle between 2 good players, very good match Moveset Bold : Fine Moveset Kage : Fine Match Ending: Finisher after a reversal wich is nice ------------------------------------------------------------ Match Score: 8.5 Tag match Well ill be honest, first thing i did was check the lenght,20 min, minus entrances..alright ill watch it. Guy starts out against reed, back and forth reversals but Reed decides to tag in Strider pretty earlyer on,not a bad decision. Altough Rider starts out victim of a nice set up with the Tree of Woe and some wicked kicks to the stomach. Strider is first to turn yellow caused by the devastating power of the woman stomp (actually its the before it but shss) Strider takes his frustration out on a ref by punching in the face, very nice. So far it's not really a tag match..its Guy vs Reed and Rider. And the timer is in the middle and so far Guy is still uncolored,o heaton is still part of the match i believe. But it was as what i predicted. Guy played till he colored and tags in Heaton who immidiatly gets whiped in tb( lol i would have marked for a double team ) The rest of the match goes also goes as expected. Guy refuses to tag back in and Heaton gets the beating. Ill have to think up a different rating system for tag matches but doesnt matter much for this one...since it wasnt much of one anyway. But this match has my thinking though. Why are some still dragging? We removed the ingrapple punches. If were gonna drag anyway might as well bring them back. I'd say: Drag is allowed after 2 reversing sequences. Example: A grapples B,A gets reversed,A reversing B back and may now drag to make things more difficult. http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g58/Undertaker1012/281x211.jpg Finishers: "Where is Tyro?!" (Front,F-U 2) "Faaaceeebusstaaaaaah!!" ( Back, Facebuster 06) Signature moves: Oversell punches (Grapple) Fancy footwork punches (Grapple)

Leon Valentine Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Haha at Bolds sig. *Carries on watching Riot.*
Smythe D. Wonder Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 indeed it was staged... the concept being Smythe as the oppressor of CJ... as he bullys him at every turn... Screwing him on Ambition putting him through a table for no reason months ago.... but CJ is the more technical wrestler... so in a match Smythe has to go to alterior motives to pick up the win... IE the table and CJ being unable to continue... Leon doesn't interfere in the match as CJ already said he has it under control... but after the Table Leon has had enough and attacks... accidently tossing Smythe back into the ring costing CJ the match Via countout.... Smythe worms his way out of the ring... and outsmarts them both... Signature 1 - The Alpha Heel Signature 2 - Spear 5 (F) - Stargazer Finisher 1 - Flapjack 2 (F) - The SDW Finisher 2 - Reality check (G) - Dawonderful Dream Finisher 3 (i'm cool enoigh to claim 3 moves) - The Darkside - THe Million Dollar Dream
Josiah Cross Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Nates got skills if anyone didnt know...he sits back and I know I have a free shot at a strike or a grapple cuz hes just waiting to reverse and he gets the 50-50 choice right almost every time. It's crazy, props to that. I've only been able to watch bits and pieces so far I'm going to try and find some time to comment. I've got Mace and A-Jax coming up to visit in real life so we shall see. Keep up that report Tyro. Awesome stuff! THE DEAN http://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i41/bombsquad07/barb.jpg
