Will somebody on the ps4 side, just hurry up & get good at the game
-
Your boy has a God complex, where only he can save Turmoil!! I have massive respect for the work put in, but the TV title should have been vacated ages ago. I suppose that is the closest resemblance to Senpai, the refusal to vacate a belt at the expense of the lower/mid-card on the show that you love so much. I still don't even know who the Terminooooiiil 5 are, despite the fact you've been bitching about them for months & months now. If he/you (whatever) still have the TV title in February, I would love to see you defend it in the match you were gifted it in. A ladder match*. Hopefully Cactus or somebody beats Dennis at the Clash for it, beforehand. * The ME of this was PPV-worthy.
-
Listen to this shit, I really need to pick a copy of this game up soon, and remind you who Turmoil's real bump guy and underdog is. Shit like this is why nobody cheered when you won. Was like watching Roman Reigns without the little kids in the crowd cheering to mask the silence.

Really good Turmoil. PPV pre-show is up, so some quick thoughts. Jett Draven, good debut, I enjoyed the match, got a style and look like you will be a competitor. Ding is no pushover, ask Pugh. Strong RPs throughout with Madison, Dennis, Leon, etc. Alex stuff got a bit fucking Melrose Place, but lays foundations for a feud next month. B-17 is like Dennis from It's Always Sunny, and it's funny. Writing has always been strong, can see the character going full American Psycho. Lee vs Jack was done well, sets up the PPV. I liked it. Cactus vs Butcher was another good match, thought you had him. Jack E Quinn has been on fire, get the lad booked. Sophia match was done well, slick production at the end. Another PPV setter-upper. Main Event was dope, thought Trance might actually do it. Congrats DB. Struggling to think how we will actually get a belt off you, other than vacate or something cheesy like a 6-man ladder. Cool to see how far you've come, and how serious and proud you are with it. Sort of feel bad for no-selling 2 of your finishers in your debut match. Just remember hating your flippy moveset, and thinking: "I need to beat this kid". Hope PPV goes to plan. P.S. Kass, I agree with what you say about the logo on the Cactus match. I agree the show needs to choose one logo and run with it. I prefer yours personally. But see when that's your only contribution to discussion, with nothing positive to say, people (me, at least) will think you are a dick who is just in the business of getting yourself over.

Dennis!!! That entrance! Don't make me come back and fight you for it!

Yeah this is good.

That 30 secs from 3:16 (!) on the video was just awesome, Pugh's dive attempt plus the 5 superkicks. OCW gold! Somebody smart should turn that into a gif, immediately. DING 3:16!!! Good Riot, hope Drago/Sensation turns into a match at the Watering Hole - glad to see Cactus' show getting a rub, the guy is fire. Wes Pepperton is great, he should be in the light heavyweight title scene - would like to see some Pepperton RPs. Hair-in-a-briefcase match should be good. And the Main Event, said the other day if it was not Drago it should be Nate. Tobin Frost match being on the pre-show kinda made me think that might be the case. H20 as a shameless hypey rookie face, is a gimmick I can appreciate, moveset was a bit flippy for me. Speaking of which, these TKF idiots are the real deal. Future tag champs, could defend/feud on both shows - uh oh. Jackson's Trump Rally Macho Man attire is awesome. Bobby Minio was in 2 different arenas, none of them the correct one. Hate that I like Smythe's big OTT intro. Good match, Drago dominated early but Smythe came back in to it. Went for his finisher too early, should have used his experience. Drago's rolling superplex finisher is sweet.

It takes all my time just to watch the shows, I don't know if I have the time to create stuff as well - without it being half-assed generic crap (ho ho ho, the usual then, stfu!). I don't know If I want to wrestle in a country that hates immigrants, and champions child-beating stoners who racially abuse innocent Vietnamese fishermen. There is a bit of a gap for me though, because there is a lack of conventional fan's favourites on Turmoil. Sophia, Ding & Joe are maybe the closest. Cactus doing the Watering Hole etc. is pretty likeable, as is Dustin (but the GC History is still too fresh). Might just come back next year as an American-hating heel, just to ruin any Jimmy memories and piss everyone off, especially Leon. * Heel-17 comes so naturally to Adam, because he is not a nice person. Its the most entertaining the character has ever been. * Dennis is basically Frodo when he gets possessed by the ring. Which I like because, it sort of reflects his RL obsessiveness. * Jackson is cool, but he's a redneck who could blow up at any minute. And he's racist.

Wrex: ditch the mask during your entrance because I never remember who your character is until he takes the mask off. Similarly to how Samsin is on Riot, you look like and talk like a heel, but are feuding with heels so its kind of confusing, especially while you are trying to establish your character. But there are a lot of positives for a rookie: Good FPR, good looking CAW (like a white Bray) other than the mask, and really good moveset (targeting legs is nifty because so many OCW CAWs skip leg day i.e. give really low value to the leg damage stat). KD on Turmoil is gold. EDIT: No Idea where that smiley came from

What is it you teach again?

Shameless Dennis. I think after the S-Cup final at 12 Year Anniversary and the last 2 Riot MEs, Drago more than deserves a rematch. I know we've had that match a lot this year, but it's normally a good one. I have a feeling next week's Riot will reveal the plans and it will tie in with the Drago/Sensation feud. Other than that, it would probably need to be Nate or a returning Parker Stevens to get me excited. Looking forward to Pugh vs DB. Good show again this week. Really liking the effort put in by Samsin this month. Feel the character still needs ironed out, I'd ditch the mask and embrace the face. Video stuff reminds me of the stuff I was trying in January, that kinda got me over. Bit of finesse with the editing, and as mentioned - less is more. 3 min videos get watched in their entirety without skipping, 10 min videos will get skipped through. But 10/10 effort. Shout-out to KD, had a great start to the new season. Looks unstoppable, would love to see him as a champion. Frightening thought, really. Final shout-out is to Dupree's alts, they look awesome, they have a style & the movesets are so fitting. I really enjoyed Mo' Cream the other week, & Pepperton's bulldog finisher was beautiful. EDIT: Also, Anthony Baker! Damn Son!!

WTF? How old are you Dennis?

Sham!

"Over Everything" over everything.
-
TKF have the worst theme tune in history. Liked the Rockers nod, would be really cool if they dressed as a different classic tag team for each match.
-
Have the double red rules been relaxed? Regardless, I thought the hardcore title match was awesome. Some really good spots with that table outside. Would love to see Tobin have a Crossbones-esque run with the belt. Samsins videos have been good, don't know if I'm supposed to like him. Feuding with a character I don't care much about, hasn't helped. Drago over everything. Mugen has the best entrance by miles. Better show this week, enjoyed it.

Ricky Hatton is the boxer. He was a great fighter, but Mayweather & Pacquiao were much better. To think that Hatton-Mayweather was 9 years ago, makes me feel old af.

Rather than just drunkenly criticise the show, I thought I'd offer a not-so brief review: Intro video needs an update. It's still a cool start to the show. Arena and theme look awesome, nice refresh, the show layout should match though - back to blue. Jack/Regan/DB/JM RP and entrances was solid, great intro to the new season. Page 1 should have ended after that. Wrex is a straight up old-fashioned heel dick. There's a place for that on the roster. Madison/Pyra was good match, just too long. Orphanage look dope, hope they have more airtime this season. I like the idea of the Hattons, development talent with a relationship. If last season taught us anything, it's that B will write about these guys and force you to care, see Loki. RP felt like projecting, do you know a Graham Hatton IRL? Zhivago back, with a great t-shirt. Properly marked when I saw the back of it, I'd buy one. Sir Henry Francis has a confused image, it needs honed. Dustin in the locker - the Gentleman's Club is so going over, can you feel it sucka. "Hospital for Lost Souls" promo - very well produced, not totally original - let's see how it plays out. Watering Hole looks dope. I think Cactus Gauge is my current favourite wrestler on Turmoil. Production is so slick, and undeniably FACE!!! Aww Bill Ding, still doing his thing. Ooo 5% Nation, hopefully they stick around - be good to see them converting wrestlers to Islam. Good win for Dustin White, enjoyed this match. I like Chase Hatton's look. Influence going straight, which is unselfishly awesome because the tag division needs relief from all the comic relief. Gentleman's Club burning Joe's van feels like de ja vu, and totally against everything they've built towards. When the reveal is Seb, I'm thinking maybe he didn't get the memo that they are fan favourites now. Can't believe I really enjoy Loki & Trance RPs now, that hurts to say. All hail Sophia. Marking for the G-Club for the 3rd time in one show, damn. P.I.M.P.S. Sid Harrison has had a Game-of-Thrones-esque actor change. That imposter is like 2 stone heavier, 4 inches shorter & 7 shades darker. WTF? Strong win. Jerk B-17 is so much more entertaining, full blown heel turn please. The Main Event was actually a properly great match. Thought Jackson had it - proud to see him back on form, after last season's slump. Nice show of gratitude at the end, helps paper over the fractures appearing in Rev Inc. At the end, I marked like hell: "OMG, the Monster is back and he got a PS4!!!". Then the reveal on the next page, I was like "Oh, right". It's a cool storyline, because it frees up the G-Club a bit. But, the gimmick & look is just so unoriginal, it saddens me. Overall I really enjoyed the show for the most part. Great opening RP & main event, some interesting new & returning characters, and some re-aligning of characters for this season. A lot of good production from Dennis & Cactus. Just need a layout update, to capture the new theme and logo.

Decent enough shows this week from what I've seen, but the double red rule is killing OCW. Every match takes forever and even obvious squash matches take at least 10 minutes. Have to skip through so much of the matches, it's so dissapoontong, because you lose all context. There's a reason the most watched videos on pornhub are all about 10 mins long.
-
Hi guys, just checking in, good show. Just wanted to say as a casual fan I'm a massive mark of the highlight format used for the light heavyweight tournament. Speaking as someone who has to skip matches to watch shows, if this was a more commonly used format, I'd find the shows a lot more digestible. In hindsight, this format would have been excellent for S-Cup. Maybe this is something that can be used elsewhere, my two cents.

Super S Cup 2016 Episode 2: The MegaTon
Jimmy Henry replied to Mr.Sensation's topic in The Daily Suplex
I'm just going with what the thread where I specifically asked about that exact situation says. The amount of finisher reversals in the Jackson vs Big Ed match was insane. -

The score assigned for the Baker vs Majin fight is contradictory to this thread: http://www.ocwfed.com/forum/showthread.php?18438-Super-S.-Cup-Rules -
LOL, ouch. Sorry B.

I can't argue with THE FACTS.

Thought we were getting a new TV Champ, congrats Nate. Almost. Bray's name change. Awful. Bill Ding, lol. WTF? Amazing. Actually enjoyed the Turmoil tag team match, backstage politics aside. Gay Cowboy Jackson is a terrible gimmick. The Leon Versus ending was great. Enjoyed the Nate beatdown. I think Sophia might be brain damaged after that. DB vs Malu was great, much better than Summercide. Awesome match. The Mugen Drago match was OK, the tense top of the cell stuff was better than the in-ring stuff that followed it. Didn't mind the move thief ending. Not big on the brainwashed Our Hero storyline, poor Drago caught a sore one though.
