All I'm getting from this is that you need to work on your reversals.

Speaking of smack talk, where is yours? Pretty sure everybody has had their comments.

Favourite Bits: * Adam Adams with the initiative, filling in for Caleb Reeves who was going to make his long awaited debut. Good RP to explain, solid match. Info-bomb here: Caleb Reeves was supposed to face me on his debut back in January. Who filled in for him at late notice that night? Dennis Black in his debut match. Boom. * Fischer & Jax putting in solid RPs and giving us a good match for 2 rookies. Shame if the rumours are true and we've lost Alex. * Cactus stole the show for me. Watering Hole was cool, and I marked out big when I saw the back of his t-shirt at the very end of his match entrance. Looking forward to fighting you next week, not looking forward to your club come and try outnumber me after I beat your ass. * #He's back: "Hollywood can wait..." * Love the Convoy theme & concept, would like to see more of them. Some good factions kicking about Turmoil just now, with a strong identity. * Trance & Loki RP, I actually enjoyed. A lot. Shame on me. * Strong dirty pin win for one of the most divisive characters in OCW, SF1. * Big Ed burying Trance was shameless. A guilty pleasure. Tom Sanders called it right. * Dustin White kicked my ass, but I stole the win as per - Jimmy the perpetual underdog. * Seb Abbott's Club turn disappoints me. I shook your hand dammit! It's like my dad always says: "Never trust an Englishman, son." * As tag matches go, the main event was very very watchable. Nice wee glimpses in that match of what Summercide has to offer. Comments/Thoughts/Questions: * What's happening with the TV title - no feud going, so is it gonna be defended at Summercide. It is called the TV title, get it defended. * Do we have enough teams/factions to justify tag titles yet? Skulls, Convoy, Club, Trance/Loki, Orphanage, #Influence? * Shane Scott make us as proud of Double S as we are of Double J & Double A. * Tom & Randy's knowledge of the show is top drawer, puts Big Al to shame.

Poor tank that was like when Cody Storm got threw in the trash. Big Ed, you ain't got no class!

That wee snippet of Karma Police at the end of Dennis vs Smythe was delightful.
-
An alcoholic father who subconsciously called his son AA, and his son literally slammed it back in his face. This bio is pretty deep.
-
Save that for when we (hopefully) go back to Smackdown arena next season.
-
And... If you are not booked but have been FPR tested, and are keen to get on TV, you could always ask around and arrange something off your own back? And if you are lucky it might get used, but more importantly, your use of initiative will work in your favour for the future? Is that correct? EDIT: Jay is right, I am smug. :(

Sham!!!

My solution is just to cut the video from the moment that venue bar disappears, I always smile when the first match in a show is from Pittsburgh, PA & the second match is in Iraq.

Yeah, we are pretty vocal with opinions here. Don't worry too much or feel you have to justify yourself to these savages. Big Ed is probably the most vocal on the ps4 side, we love him & hate him in equal parts for it. The time limit is just about watchability, if you're an unheard of guy then when your matches start going over 15 minutes, people aren't gonna sit through them. But that's up to your opponent as well, felt Trance was a bit keen to put over TJ Stevens, who nobody cares about. I liked your look, RP & finisher. Moveset tweaks are expected the first few weeks, you'll get a feel for what looks wrong, etc. Talking about the title is a common rookie thing, but I wouldn't fret half of us probably did it. In the past 2 months, the ps4 side has had an influx of very promising new recruits and if they stick around we won't have enough belts to keep the lower end of the roster happy. I think there may be plans ahead for the new guys, if Aries thing goes ahead, which would be good, because an incentive definitely increases a desire to put in work. I also think an R-Cup at the same time as the S-Cup would be quite good. Call it the handout era, whatever, I'm just keen to see the roster grow & stay big. I think a developmental show will help that.

That's what took B so long to return. Kept showing up in the wrong city or the right city but too late. He was like Ed Norton at the end of Fight Club trying to track down the next fight. We had a few RPs at Terminal 5 this week, cause nobody told us we had moved.

Happy Birthday Trance, your OCW story birthday was tragic as fuck.

"I'm going to leave this ring before someones music hits and I'm left getting ground stomped 80 times, then ground grappled, and then ground stomped 20 more times. I'm too old for that nonsense. Good night Turmoil!!" http://www.reactiongifs.com/r/O0oo0.gif Hahaha. Another real good show, plenty of content, will review tomorrow at some point. Enjoyed the cock-tease of a main event - busy night for the EMTs.

He's getting worse. He's probably already challenged Sophia to the Women's Title.

:D If I die, I'm a legend.

Daddy's in the kitchen, bookin' up somethin' good! STRONG CARD!

OK, seeing as its B's first show as booker, JT's last as producer, more importantly my return show, and the shitstorm has died down, I shall review: * Booking was top notch - well done. * Malu eating the royal feast RP was good fun & well written, very descriptive - and hinted at a potential feud between the champs, without fully committing. It keeps options open, it's a smart move considering the competitive nature of OCW. * Skullies RP - I laughed at the English translation, but the set up of these promos is getting a bit repetitive - and I don't always google translate them. I'd like to see some more variety. I did enjoy the KOCW spot at the end, that was cool of Sophia to give you guys that platform. * Bill Ding's Hungry Times RP was iconic, I fucking loved it. HUNGRY TIMES BROTHER! Got a bit heavy at the end. * Bray/Mystique thing was pretty cool, early days yet, let's see where it goes. I'm assuming there will be some sort of reveal. Good amount of content on this episode Bray. * Ashley giving Jackson 3 matches to go through, is a cool idea for proving his worth. * The weird split personality Loki RP is actually quite fun to read, which pains me horribly to say. It does give him a unique gimmick on the show, rather than just chatting up Stacy Clarke with every other rookie. * Bill Ding vs Nightmare - Feel like Bill has had every dancing entrance out, but none suit as much as the original Dude Love one. Nightmare is Cactus-main-cum-alt guy? I might have preferred the serial killer look. I can't really go sped-up matches, so I'm skimmed it. DQ & beatdown ending, fair enough, hopefully this goes somewhere. * The Ashley Blain teasing Dennis RP to set up the Main Event, made me blush. Well written and a nice change from just coming to ringside to announce it, or telling it to Dennis in her office. * Sid putting the skullies over in their match was a nice touch. That's twice in a week, by two top players, use the momentum generated and focus it on something. Some cool spots in that video, and I laughed when the ref just totally no-sold the carnage & counted to 3. * I am a massive mark for the Gentleman's Club and their RPs. See they've added Dustin White, starting to look quite formidable. The buildup to the punchline "One religious nut case down, four to go" was awesome. * Jackson gets his first win of the required 3 handed to him as part of the Bray story. Cool I get that, I'd be disappointed if you didn't get to match 3. I'd also be disappointed if match 3 wasn't a genuinely competitive no.1 contender match. Bray I hope you don't plan on feuding with yourself/your own alt to Summercide, I assume you have a plan. * Jordan Jax with a good debut RP. Think we might have another proper new member. * Bray vs Trance - the first match with an actual competitive ending. Nice competitive back & forth and a good win, for content & performance Bray is Jimmy's MVP for this episode. * Convoy vs Club - I was expecting a tag match. This match & ending RP does enough to establish a rivalry between the 2 factions, neither of them are particularly face, so I don't get who I'm supposed to root for. Not always a bad thing. Strong identity for 2 rookie factions. * Main Event was great - other than my FPR break. I genuinely wanted to win so bad, I'd be a great TV champ. When the fall at the end happened, I knew it was time to stay down. The spot came about naturally, and was too perfect for my first match back after my Lution cage match. Like i said yesterday, it was my favourite match I've been involved in all season. Good show, external incidents aside. Hope we can move on from all this stronger, and keep the momentum up.

Just realised Old Country Way is a backronym. I feel dumb.

The Desk Ep 110: Scumbag Opportunist!
Jimmy Henry replied to Mr.Sensation's topic in OCW The Magazine
Don't ever call me a cuckold again you cunt. -
Here I was worried that this might turn out to be a thread absolutely tearing me apart for my horrible FPR break early in our match. Neither me or Dennis spotted it until after the match was rendered. I was super pissed because other than that, I had the best match I've had all season. Felt that match had to be used. As me & Dennis are kinda known for having scripted and recorded spots in our short OCW careers, it was nice to have a match that just had loads of cool spots naturally. I like how Dennis edited it at the end with the TV title - was slick, that is where the match finished but it looked crappy me getting back to my feet after nearly breaking my neck. Loved working with Dennis, just a shame to watch him being taken for a ride (figuratively not literally) by that horrible Madison Cox.
