  1. So I stayed up far too late to watch those last 2 matches. Sheesht. This Mugen's turf now? I enjoyed this match, especially the constant pin attempts. Jay was better than I though he would be. Good match, some nice natural spots, Jay probably dead as well. I'm sharing a ward with him, The Steve & Crossbones. Heavyweight title match was solid, Pugh looking to hold that belt for a while. Be interesting to see who he feuds with next. The nostalgia in the video entrance was a nice touch. All in, really enjoyed my first Lution, happy to have been a part of it. Never expected when I signed up in December, how involved (but also weirdly rewarding) this whole experience would be. To do it right, you gotta spend the time. Struggling to meet deadlines as it is and over the next few months, I ain't gonna have that time, so I'm a flake for a while. Hopefully I'll find the time to be able to come back as an active wrestler. Hide this in black text, because it's a bit preachy: To the rookies newer than me: myself, Dennis & Sophia have been active for about 3-4 months (B17, Jackson & Kass not much longer) and I don't think any of us looked out of place. It's not hard, it's achievable enough if you put the work in. Now is your chance to step up.
  2. Versus intro was cool. Do you need to be a massive stoner to be in the Inner Circle? Match was cool, ending was great. Saw some of Matsuda's entrances over the weekend, and was not disappointed. Match was 100mph & intense. FPR blurring aside it was a decent match. Will anyone be able to defeat Matsuda? Loved the fire compilation video for Dupree, would have preferred the usual THE FIIIYAAHH theme music. Not so sure about the attire. Liked Matsumoto's entrance. Match was decent. Matsumoto retirement RP was nice. Tobin Frost vs The Monster was a classic. One for the purists. So many good reversals. Just quality wrestling. Really enjoyed it. Cesar vs Crossbones was the opposite, an all out war. Crossbones is dead after that. Drago came out dressed like Raphael the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle. Some of the cage tosses were undersold, and the match was a bit on the long side, but enjoyable. Like with Matsuda, is anyone defeating Drago? Wait a minute. No Title Changes? Still got the 2 main events to watch - the amount of content is a bit overwhelming (in a good way).
  3. Often at the same time as not showing up for their match. calm down, I'm being a dick. I don't know the ins & outs.
  4. Who says you can't have a good multi-man match? I thoroughly enjoyed that. The end of that Turmoil Title match was tense. Totally marked out when B broke the pin. Congrats to the champ. My one criticism, Kass fix your fucking moveset. So many finishers as normal moves. The 630? Really? Lution is awesome.
  5. Poor The Steve! Good chance we could become hospital ward buddies. Got work in the morning, so maybe just squeeze the Turmoil match in to satisfy curiosity tonight. Gotta say, these matches have been great to watch.
  6. Probably, but we don't mark out for own stuff. Even if, for example, you pull out all the stops to make a cage match with Tank look sick af! You just don't mark out.
  7. Leon with a rather outstanding victory. Superb. Poor Ragnarok. I marked out so hard during the Dennis Black match, so many good spots. D's attention to detail is unbelievable and he has really legitimised the TV title, when it could have quite easily become irrelevant. His video work is top drawer, and his workrate puts most of us Turmoil guy's to shame. Would love to see him move up to the Turmoil title. If he doesn't lose the title over the next few PPVs, I would love to see a end-of-season unification match at Summercide. EDIT: A guest appearance from Joe Zhivago! My maw loved it.
  8. KWAN! WATTS! KWAN! WATTS! (who?) KWAN! WATTS! KWAN! WATTS! (ok!) That theme.
  9. And your debut was shorter than your intro. Bill Ding is the Pete Rose of OCW
  10. The ground shook here in Scotland when KD leapt that rope. Watching just now: Entrances & video quality for Turmoil battle royal excellent. Especially Ding's entrance. Match was kinda un-OCW (simulated?), but it served a purpose. Got me all excited for Lution. Liked the ICP stable at the end, interesting development for Turmoil. Dennis v Ed hype video was real. Dennis Black is my spirit animal with these vids. Ladder match was good, great ending. KD flying was hilarious, but totally stupid. Really loving Kwans development, totally rooting for him. Disappointed that we didn't get his cool intro, that I accidentally saw on YouTube. Some great entrances. Only thing is, and it's a personal thing, I hate custom soundtracks. This one wasn't that bad, I just feel music takes away from the match. Otherwise this was great. Crowe & trance annoyed me. Started out well, loved crowes entrance & theme music. But terrible custom soundtrack, with shitty generic rock music & commentating as well. Not a nice audio experience. Then they trash the arena, on the pre card. It's not beyond the realms of possibility for the arena to be rebuilt, but just a bit dumb. Anti climactic ending. I don't mean to be all negative, just expected more from this. Congrats to Sophia. You have really established the women's division on Turmoil, with some good feuds. Well deserved champion. That outfit though, is asking for inappropriate comments. I assume Dennis had some creative input with that attire. Hyped for tomorrow!
  11. It's funnier when you know Kwan is a deliberate anagram.
  12. Somebody get this kid a drink, he's positively parched.
  13. I've said too much already.
  14. Nothing wrong with that! It doesn't come naturally to everyone, OK?!
  15. Are we going to get commentary on the biggest show of the year?
  16. That's what every single member of Big Ed's motorbike gang say as well.
  17. Thought Loki quit on Tuesday? Seen him tweeting "Retiring early, had enough of this OCW cheese."
  18. I need a win so bad.
  19. Knob
  20. Good boy, Axton
  21. Thanks, it's not the easiest. There is a reason there is a cut in that scene just before it - it hides my 20 failed attempts.
  22. Are you claiming Seth Morrison, you slag? That was Sidberg's doing. Seth's CAW was awesome, and his videos were very decent.
  23. It's late here, but I enjoyed this episode. Here are my initial notes, practically all positive cause I'm in a good mood... COREY FORD RP - Playing on the ears mocks from the forum, nice. TANK'S CANTEEN RP - Weird recurring theme/setting, I like it. Well written/joined-up RP. I genuinely laughed at the airhorn. BRAY V JOE - Decent match, "Mediterricho" is tearing through the roster. SEB RP - Haha, big daft Seb disposed of last week like a henchman from a shit action movie. Wants the TV title, good luck with that one. ASHLEY & AUSTIN RP - Another recurring theme/setting. Well written I enjoyed it. LOKI & BRAVO - Good fun, enjoyed it, but... My god, do the Irish talk fast. Layoutwise, row of stars under the video would have helped seperate it from the next RP. DENNIS V SEB - Massive win for DB. Sidberg's Turmoil streak is over. JOE RP - Wants the TV title as well. Do I smell a No.1 contender match against Seb? TRANCE V TANK - Oh Tank. You talk-the-talk, but can't back it up. Only good for sneak attacks & punching old women, you jerk. SID & KASSIE RP - Marvellous Movement, I'd join. ED V CORY - Interesting look for Cory, different to the one I've had from CC for months. Big Ed with another win. DENNIS RP & VID - Awesome work, Dennis Black can drive a feud. Eventually must be moved up to top tier for Turmoil. SOPHIA V PAIN - Didn't watch all the match, too long & too late here. Good win for Sophia. Pain was a Madison stooge! KASS & JACKSON - Triple threat at Lution? TANK IS AN ASSHOLE! JACKSON V IRVING - Interesting feud, not sure about the timing with the Kass & B stuff. See how it plays out. Good episode, well done. Circlejerk. Hugbox. Woooo. EDIT: No Bill Ding! 3/10.
  24. I'm actually howling here. I'm just about to post a spoiler heavy review. Be warned.
  25. Imma do a shortened up-to-date version for post-Lution. With added Big Ed. Same horrible emo-dubstep "song" though.
