I'd have to disagree on him being 'our' best player, because he isn't 'ours'. He's a great player that played on both systems. If Turmoil is ever going to be able to stand on its own, we need to be given time without this cross branding stuff. It didn't do him or us any favors in the long run. One tournament doesn't prove who the best is when a branch has only been around for a few months. If he was Turmoil exclusive, sure. Maybe. If a second tournament was started this week after some of us are starting to improve, would the outcome be the same? Myself, Tank, B-17, Jackson, and Jimmy would have something to say about that. Anyone would. I think being the best requires consistency over a few months. As for RP, if more people provided segments, some of us wouldn't have to submit extra role plays. Hell i submitted something extra for CG hours the night before because the collective of 'both' shows didn't add enough RP.

in 2016 i think wrestling needs to move on beyond stuffing characters into three categories. It's too simple. While Jimmy is our top face on Turmoil, not everything he's done has been face like. He sort of snaked his way to a title shot in the triple threat, remember? I'd expect a heel to get a win the way he did. He deserved the win no doubt, but the finish wasn't the most face like thing i've seen. Does that make him a tweener, no? Think of Kevin Owens starting out on NXT. Sure, he destroyed Sami Zayne. But his reasoning? To make enough money for his family or something like that. Those aren't your typical heel like responses. That's just a man being a father. Who here with kids wouldn't do the same in a real life situation? B-17 is our mid card face, yes. But the way he just overlooked Dylan and Bill isn't a response from your typical face. Yes, he's busy wanting a piece of Tank and defending Turmoil from our masked men, but sending them off to face his friends instead is something we normally see from a heel champion that leads a stable. But i also don't see him as a mid carder if we are going by the above list. . He's our Cena and Jimmy is our Bryan. Now then, back to the trinity we seem to be stuck on. I would say Black is a face. He hasn't cheated to win any matches, and he called out Morrison on his BS during Turmoil 109 when no one else would and caught an ass beating for his trouble. He showed remorse for a wrestler that was forced to retire. Up until putting Jimmy through a table, he's wrestled cleanly. And even then, it was his manager that initiated all that over a lie. PS, Abbot is very much a heel. Look at that face. Anyway...all i'm saying is, broaden your characters a bit. We can still be a interesting character without forcing ourselves to be the typical suit wearing heel champion, baby kissing face, and beer drinking tweener. Also, i'd say we are all mid carders or main eventers on any given day at the moment. There's no real separation just yet. Characters make the title, not the other way around. Our first Turmoil champion lost it on the first defense (that's not a knock against him by the way.) Tank and I could easily lose our titles in a few weeks on our first defense, then what? No one is really above anyone as far as matches and wins go. I'd say we have 6 guys that are pretty even, but we don't have anyone who i can easily say is our best player. The only real separation In tiers I see on Turmoil is RP, and it takes more than just that to be a main eventer.

My longest post ever incoming. I don't really think it's a ‘new’ Version of him. He's well aware that he and Seth could easily be on opposing sides of what went down at the ppv. If none of the locker room seems bummed about losing a veteran, Douchy as he was, he can only imagine how little they'd care if he was the one to go. The desperation he had when facing Jimmy was in line with that desperation he felt only four days prior. Jimmy was his first match, and he lost. So there's always been that respect, but also a resentment because jimmy went on to become a star in the tournament while he went on to lose his second match. He really couldn't afford to lose to Jimmy in his first match since becoming a champion. In a weird way, he owes everything to Seth snf Madison. No one really knew his name until Seth kicked his ass for an entire month. And there certainly wouldn't have been a title shot in his future if the rivalry didn't exist. He won his first match due to Madison’s encouragement and screwing over Ding. So Madison has his ear. So when two major points in his career is at the hands of heels, I don't think him being more aggressive is out of the blue. On an out of character note, I was supposed to lose on Sunday. We had three months of story planned. An unnamed tag team was supposed to interfere and screw me over, giving Seth the title. I'm assuming it was going to be the legends of wrestling since they went dark shortly after Seth did. It took some convincing, but i agreed and felt it was the smart path for the rivalry. I was supposed to play a face battling a heel stable on his own. Would probably try to even the odds by asking Bill Ding graves or B-17 / Jackson for help until I Felt the character was ready for a legitimate shot, which I can only assume would culminate at Lution if Jacob felt it made sense. The day before the go home Turmoil for CG, Seth texted me that there was a change of plans. Some of it was real life, some was due to OCW. I can’t speak for Seth, I also don't have concrete info. He then told me he was taking a step back and that he wanted me to run with it. So...I felt I needed to slightly alter Black with his rival gone, and that I needed to step up my Rp with Seth gone. Having someone with experience carry my rivalry probably won't happen again. I kind of like writing the struggle of an impressionable face with a heel manager. I think it's a safe place for him as the coveted spots are claimed for now, and rightfully so. We’ve got our top faces with B and J right on jimmy’s tail. I don't see Jimmy losing that unless he snaps and tries to murder tank and Bradley. We have our heel authority figure. We’ve got our comedy act in Ding/ graves. The intriguing stuff going on with b-17. We’ve also got our top heel in Tank. My bleh feelings on this episode aside (mostly due to the music), I'm very excited about Turmoil’s future. I think splitting up Black-Cox would spread me too thin. I want to give Dennis / Madison, Bill Ding / Dylan (Dylan is carrying is right now, which is much appreciated), and what Sophia and I are doing with the women of Turmoil the appropriate amount of attention.
