If i wanna see someone beast the fuck out of someone, I'll watch one of the millions and millions of youtube videos of some punk kid rushing the fuck out of someone. If i want to watch an exciting match, I'll watch someone like Tibby. He is awesome at this game, but he is also entertaining to watch - that is, in my estimation at least, what a champion in OCW should be.

Pull your head out of your ass for one second and try to comprehend what people are saying. Your zero kickout idea is flawed due to the way the game deals damage and awards momentum

My hypothetical is in relation to "competition". Having 0 kickouts makes it a race to visible damage, so somebody with higher stats for offence always has the advantage, regardless of the skill of the other person. Zero kickouts would only work if everyone had exactly the same stats, because then its completely down to skill. One kickout, or similar gives the guy with weaker stats a fighting chance imo. Uniformity is all very well and good, but theres a very fine line between competition and forgone conclusion.

I'm sorry white RD Money, did you say something? I don't like no kick outs, mostly because even though we want "the real" experience, we also want to encourage competition. Lemme give you a hypothetical. Me Vs you. You're bigger than me, you're more powerful, you will fuck me up early. It will take me A LOT longer to damage you. So even if we build up a finisher at the same time, the game decides that you, as a heavyweight, will do damage faster than me, a light heavyweight, can. Meaning that you have the opportunity to win before i can even think about it. Unless I'm completely wrong, and they took size affecting damage away. A kickout rule for Riot/random PPV matches, and a relaxing of the rule for big, feud defining/title matches is my preference

I don't mind falling to Suda and his crazy sleeper so long as the match has been entertaining. Luckily, Suda doesn't do boring matches, and if you play him for a show, you'll get what I'm talking about. He's one of the best communicators for spot calling in OCW (as are all of the "ambition rooks") - he wants you to get as much offence on him as he does to you... it's kinda a weird concept, but it makes the match awesome

Really well written Riot. Haven't watched the matches yet, but if theyre even half as good, we're onto a winner. I'm glad Matsuda has finally embraced the role of Japanese Ric Flair- its how I've always seen him

Those of us with access to Flux Capacitors are well aware of what happened on Riot. Flem won the world title, but it was declared null and void because he wasn't under contract. Also Doc Brown beat KD Angelo in a flaming scaffold match

You get a slight blur and a sound effect i believe. The screen doesn't go batshit crazy like a fire finisher, but theres still enough warning that it's a finish dude!

This^ Like I was saying to Tibby last night, it's not your job to put yourself over in matches, you should be looking to put your opponent over- if they're doing their job properly they'll return the favour. Problems come when 'ethics' come into play. Taking our match as an example, good grace and general respect for your opponent dictates that KD should have given Phoenix the chance to reset himself after his move. I counted 20 frames, or 2 thirds of a second between Phoenix leaving the animation of his move, and KD hitting his finisher, which means that he must have been hammering the fuck out of Y in a desperate attempt to snatch the win... Which is 'unethical' in my eyes, but obviously fine to some. It's all subjective at the moment, and until people start getting their heads torn off everytime they're shady, it'll keep happening. Okay, so here's my issue. I'm doing this publicly, because YOU son pissed me off royally. YOU are the worst person I have ever come up against in OCW. YOU are idiotic, YOU are contemptible, YOU are moronic, and YOU are reading this still not knowing who I'm talking about. YOU need to learn three things about OCW. 1) OCW is more than a league - winning is second to having the best match possible... The best have always understood that 2) YOU need to respect other people. If YOU are told to do something by a GM, YOU do it. YOU caused the problem in the first place, and YOU had nobody to blame but YOURSELF. 3) If YOU ever pull that shit on me again, YOU will live to regret it. Once YOU are in a redo of a match that YOU cheesed to win, YOU are expected not to do so again. What YOU did however, was contrary to what YOU should have done. YOU ran away from flying moves, YOU rushed, YOU wore a different attire so that YOUR entrance that had already been recorded was no longer useable due to continuity issues. YOU could have simply had a fair match but YOU chose to sabotage our attempts at a redo because YOU wanted the first match - this piece of shit match that appeared on riot to be used. Yet YOU have the audacity, the bare-faced aloofness to claim that YOU are being shafted by the higher ups. YOU, after three plus years of being in OCW still have no concept of what it takes to be successful in OCW. YOU are the master of YOUR own downfall.
