Vic Vimes Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Ambition is shifting direction. Think less NXT and more WWECW. Except without the illusion of equality. That is, Ambition is a place to develop your career instead of being fed to Mayhem in a 2 minute squash randomly. The spotlight is on them, to reinvent an refine themselves without being over shadowed by a rape storyline or FPR Breakage. Sure, those will still be condemned if they occur, but Matsuda can get himself noticed when he's competing for the spotlight with other near-unknowns instead of being trumped by whatever nonsense Parker Stevens is doing this week. A draft will be shift talent around. New people will always start on Ambition. But during a draft, Riot people who aren't really getting far may be shifted to Ambition to give them a chace to shine. Cody Storm may be on Riot now, but if he flounders, he could easily end up back here with say, Dupree in his place. I'm thinking every three or four months me and Creed may swap people, and then again maybe we'll just do it as we feel. Nothing is set in stone. The winner of the Ambition title will remain on the show yes, but proving your dominance over all opposition impresses quicker than deliberately avoiding being champion on hopes of a 'promotion'. My goal is still too help the rookies first and foremost, and this still will not become a new Turmoil or Animosity. 2

Patolomai Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 My personal thoughts on Ambition and what Vimes had to say, are that of excitment to be honest. We will have ample opportunity to develope our characters, refine our skill in roleplaying, recording and on the sticks. Vimes basically gave every one of us the chance to shine and set the bar for our generation. Create our own memories and moments. A chance to make people care if we make it to riot. Why not make out mistakes on a stage of our equals. I don't know I just see a multitude of possibilities for rookies, Ambition,Riot and OCW both now and for the future. http://images2.layoutsparks.com/1/202284/rose-pedals-falling-animated.gif
Bloom Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 I was heavily debating the match for ME. I took a risk and I think it paid off. They did a match and it was not bad at all but rarely used the cell. But at the end of the day Its about matches for me so try to keep the artsy shit to a minimum especially if its big time. Welcome to OCW, keep tough skin, speak your mind, and most of all have fun.-Betterness "I'm going to be brutally honest here guys... all we really need for a good Riot is a few RP's from Our Hero himself... he's an awesome writer!!!" - Smythe CCWJustinTime: just funny how the shit i do goes un appreciative [10-01, 00:19] Jookie Marley: fuck u nigga [09-01, 23:50] Mr.Bentley: uploadafraud.com [09-01, 23:45] Jookie Marley: what website do we use 2 upload now? Vincent Valmont Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 I'll have my likes/dislikes review sometime later today instead of a long review. I was heavily debating the match for ME. D.Jones Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 I didn't realise who DJack's opponent was either. Found it funny that the song said "Motherfuckers know who I am" apparently they don't. :( what an impression I've made..... But seriously that's my bad. I didn't even realize that I didn't have the name plate on. http://i56.tinypic.com/ta2zwy.png
