i personally dont say it often, and it is stupid. BUT i feel any and every black person has a right to say it without getting a side look. for hundreds of years we were called it. the moment we use it to classify ourselves its taboo.

People write RP's where they sign autographs for little kids, seems kinda stupid that they'd start swearing in their RP's. Not really bothered about what you do, just don't like it personally.

That's a very ignorant & callus statement. But I do understand why you feel he should. Everything you learned about Black History & Culture, has either been from a textbook or television. It is difficult for a normal white american to relate, let alone somebody from across the pond.

 

And that in itself is the reason you think people use it as an excuse. More often than not it's realiity, granted people exploit it, but people exploit anything regardless of race. But those excuses work both ways, what I mean by that is;

 

Employers use excuses not to give us good jobs. Police use excuses to profile us. The Gov't.... you get the picture.

 

I dont know you personally, but I doubt you've been to an all black community, so how could you possibly understand what it's like.

 

I don't expect your sympathy or even your understanding of our struggle. That's what I created this movement for. I can't bring OCW to the ghetto, so I'll bring the ghetto to OCW.

Yall would think all slaves were black, but they wasn't.

 

Bottom line is the N word has been said before on live t.v, but just like most cursing it is also frowned upon with promos. I don't mean everyone has to be like a jericho, or the miz with suits, and big words in their promos, but the context of the promo is important when doing one.

 

I'll make this all better... nobody here was living, or had parents from that generation, and time of slavery. Although it's something that will forever be apart of american history, but it something that will never change. It's the past, and it's where it should stay. Those unfortunate did what they did then so people all across the world now, from celebrities to common everyday people can be free. Let's not forget everyone wants to talk about slaves, freedom, but don't bring up Martin Luther King? He's the biggest reason. I'm not racist, and YES I have lived in black communities although you don't need to walk in someone's shoes to understand what it's like.

 

I am a normal white american, but don't give me that "your white so you don't know" speech. That's bs, and a lazy excuse. Besides color of skin there's nothing different from nobody other than mixed opinions.
