Parker Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 OCW seems to be lacking something at the moment..the shows kinda feel 'empty'.....I know its the annual quiet period we go through, but still. Spiders onscreen return is a bonus, as he brings something way outside the box to OCW. I say it every week, and I'll say it again....even on a computer game, The Steve's intros gives me fucking chills, it sounds AMAZING. The shows are missing 'something' match wise, and by that I mean IMO Steve,Tibby,Dims and Pugh have been carrying the shows for me the last few weeks, match wise. Matsuda has a nice upper-mid storyline going. The Steve whipped Dimsmore in an impressive showing. Tibby and Pugh had a nice little submission contest going on in a great match. I know there's a few people out storyline wise, but they are missing the onscreen characters of like Jookie , Aries, Parker ,Smythe [has he left again?] KD , Freek [who is starting to pop up more now my RL shit is over], Bedlam, even Trance...and where are Cody Krayola and Hostile? The Takeover angle from the other site was a complete joke, has even 1 of them stuck around? or did KD beat all 3 of them back to where they came from? The tag division is a complete joke....A-Team are in a league of their own, and I hate how any randomly thrown together team can win 1 tag match and then are called the 'new number 1 contenders'. I'd much rather watch OG in a hardcore match than a random tag team match of 4 people thrown together. Even thogh the recent shows seem a bit sub par to me, they are still MUCH better minus one Hairline, as I'd rather read zero content than 3-4 rp's of his pointless, self promoting drivel. Pugh Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 No offense to anyone intended here, but between maybe 7 of us, we've kinda been carrying OCW since Lution. I don't know how it is for the other guys, but to me, it feels like OCW is stagnating. From a personal standpoint, after this Dimsmore thing is over, I have nobody I can realistically work with - the roster is painfully thin at the moment, and its not showing any signs of picking up anytime soon. We either need a recruitment drive, or people to step up - either works, we just need it soon. There's only so many times Kent and I can produce gold /ego 1 No.

There's only so many times Kent and I can produce gold /ego Things are going to pick up, Parker will be back full time after the ppv. That's 3 more caws added to the stable. Unless we get some returns from some vets, i don't see our roster bolstering much. I think OCW will be fine, with End Games almost in the book, and Summercide on the horizon, things will heat up. Long as those 7 ppl keep doing shit, we have something. As for discussion, I haven't gotten a chance to watch all the matches. Whenever Riot is posted Friday morning discussion is dead because the weekend is officially here. Not to mention what free time ppl do have is most likely getting dedicated to the ppv, i know most of mine is. Jacob Trance Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 Make them step up by working with them... You saw how well it worked with Jookie. I think it's safe to say Hostile is done. Smythe flaked shortly on Arnaud, Aries is on a break... I don't know what's going on with Jookie, he had a hot run then went elsewhere.

I can't speak for everyone else, but I'd rather not enter into working with somebody knowing that i'm likely to be driving 90% of the feud. It's not worth my time if you're only gonna show up for matches, end of story. 4 No.

Always available - never any fuss. 7-10 is probably a better estimate when you throw in Parker and McGee. I'm not saying others aren't useful, I get they've got their shit to do, but contact is key here. If you can't do something, CONTACT someone, and maybe they'll help you with something. No.

You CAN NOT alienate people just because they put in less work than others. That's one of the reasons they barely do work in the first place. You want to keep it to the "7 or 10" that are "keeping this place running", then that's fine, because honestly, the only one out of you who is actually interesting is Dimsmore (and McGee). I think The Steve is the only one who gets a pass because he's been here, and he's done all of this already. Our title scenes are non-existent. Doesn't Dimsmore have 9425784265 jobs, and a fiance or something? If he can make ALL of that work, while putting in quality content each and every week to keep people interested, why can't the rest of you? Instead, you're off doing Unleashed: Ladies Night. I'm going to be honest, who else watches that aside from the people who put it together? I sure as hell don't. Why can't you just put that content on Riot, or instead focus your efforts on one character? I understand you want to have fun, and hey, who doesn't, but shouldn't you be helping the rest of the guys who have nothing to do have some fun? Wrestling in real life is a team effort, so why can't e-wrestling be the same way, and if the other half is slacking, TELL THEM. You're not going to get ANYTHING done if you're just pissing and moaning about the other guy not doing anything. Since Trips is gone, Smythe is AWOL again, and Trance barely does anything at all anymore, I figured I would be OCW's new Negative Nancy. NegaRies sounds about right. @NegaRies #heel
