You're highlighting a few problems I think. I don't disagree with any of this.

1. I had the momentum going from before I left. Can we take a look at why? 1. Big wins (International Champion, KOCW, WL title defense). Well I've still had those. I've beaten guys you all talk about being fantastic all the time. I beat Gibbs since returning, I beat Dimsmore, I beat Aries, and I believe I should have beaten Mez had the table not glitched for me. 2. feuds, my only real feud before leaving was with Trance. And wouldn't you know it, it centered around a title! Titles give you something to do. You may not believe me when I say I'll find things to do if/when I become World Champion, but you shouldn't have to believe me because I've already earned a shot.

2. Sean, Gibbs, and Tobin have done wonderful in the past year and I think have earned the shots as well. I was gone for 3 months, why haven't they gotten their shot already? All of them have been hot since WL, why have they been kept in the dark for 5-6 months as well? When you have this many contenders in line, why are we seeing the same two or three people face off for so long?

The people who are successful, for the most part, are working with the same people. #TRUTH!

Because top guys work with top guys.

Lets go through history. It took Parker YEARS to get a look in on the World Title picture. Tibby was HUGE for 6-8 months before he got his shot against Aries. It took me nearly a year of working with main event guys to get my first shot. Thats the most recent three, but Aries was in exactly the same boat (But i don't know his history well enough to put timings on there).

The crucial part of this. Not one of us asked for it. We were GIVEN it because we'd earned it. Gibbs didn't want to be in the world title hunt as Gibbs, so Pato made sense, since he's a former World Champion. Sean and Tobin are both consistently mentioned when staff talk about challengers. They haven't already, but they deserve it a damn sight more than you do at this juncture. When the time is right, you'll get your shot. Its just not right now, so you'll need to do something in the meantime.

No.

I remember like it was yesterday, you returned from hiatus, said you can hang with the big boys. You faced Parker and lost, then you faced me and lost. The same two guys who have been in the title picture way too much. \m/

In all fairness..there IS a difference between being the number 1 contender and 'getting a title shot'.

Cody did win a title shot when he won the tournament, but it was neither OCW's fault, or his fault that he went awol for 3-4 months....the people who stayed, their stories etc continued to move on, so Cody can't just be expected to walk straight into a title match in the middle of everyone elses angles...it's that simple.

Maybe when Pugh and Pato are finished feuding, then Cody can have his shot..against who ever is champion after the feud.

And I'm perfectly fine with that, that's the reasonable thing. But I don't want to start something, and find that when their feud is done, I'm in the middle of one of my own, and won't see the shot for another 3-4 months because the champion is now involved with something. It's the same stagnation that made me lose my mind and go AWOL with the FI (moving to college contributed substantially, but you get the point).

You don't remember like it was yesterday, those matches took place before I won KOCW and a good two months or so before I left for Maryland, thus before my hiatus. The Parker one was the Riot before I won the tourney because it's what made me realize if I had any hope of winning it I needed to take the next 2-3 days and DM my ass off. And while Parker straight beat my ass, you didn't. And if we had the three and out rule that we've since employed, you would have lost that match because I hit four finishers that you kicked out of before you got to your third. AND you beat me with a submission

See. Now you're sounding like a whiny bitch.

Do a storyline so that you're actually in people's minds when me and Pato are done. The fact you beat three people doesn't make you next in line. You have a shot, sure, but I honestly don't understand this "I'm next" mentality. Work for it!

And when did I say you two specifically had been in the title picture way too much? You hold a belt for over six months and you deserve at least a rematch when you lose it, if you ask me. I specifically mentioned The Steve and Dimsmore as having been in the title picture too much

Technically I never got my rematch...just sayin'.

Nor did Dupree.

Which puts you two above Cody. Technically... and Dimsmore has the FI case.

Parker v Dupree HIAC. I don't remember the show anymore, but that was Dupree's rematch.
