Cody Storm Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Page 1 I no-sold the star spangled banner #BadAmerican Bobby took shots at just about everyone, but it was a fantastic opening and I like that Jay asked him to do it. As I mentioned earlier I thought the broken record retort was awesome. I don't have an Oedipus complex, I dropped the bitch on her head! It was a little lengthy, but as long as it's good quality I generally don't mind reading it, and this was good quality. Wheeler and JD feel like they've been shafted a little bit here and apparently think they can win the match in ten minutes against former tag team champions. More power to them and I hope for their success. The Cobra get-up xD. I like Seth Rogan to be fair. And I assume you were calling Drago and Bobby the comedy acts of wrestling. Which with Drago makes complete sense, but not with Bobby as he's actively fighting the comedy/gimmicky guys. Unless you just mean his in ring is comical xD. There wasn't any buildup for this match really, but I'm still very excited to see it because it's two of my good friends against two people I don't like all that much xD. In story wise though, it's a great chance for Wheeler and D to prove themself. A win against former tag team champions is never anything to take lightly in the tag division, and a hardfought loss against them isn't much worse. I liked Kindred's entrance, though I think that video was used at one point when Kent dug all of those "entrance videos" up for people in 2011. At least as far as the first 3/4 of this match goes, Rose kind of got his ass handed to him. I felt like Crowe had to be called upon to put up almost all of the offense in the majority of this match. D played well in the first half, but really turned it up in the second. Wheeler killed in this match. There was the "hovering" finisher. But it was done off of a possum pin where the two guys are getting up a pretty much the same time (though in this particular possum pin kick-out animation D was up a little bit faster), but as far as hovering goes I think it's a pretty grey area one on whether or not it's really hovering for that reason. More than that though, how are you going to call that out Jay, but not say anything about the pre-double red Tombstone? It was still an enjoyable match to watch I thought. I'm shuddering just reading the description of the metal screeching. If this was real and I was in the arena I'd be freaking out in my uncomfortableness xD. Another addition to the legend. Annamosity knows the golden rule: Take out the "bad bitch" first and you're the queen. Which I guess is almost as nice as being Queen of OCW right? Page 2 This NPC with Kindred kind of reminds me of the "vamps" in the Matrix Reloaded. The Tombstone spot was pretty sweet. I'd probably have thrown him out too after that performance. I'm interested to see who joins as a replacement. Drago's camera man is playing the role of hype guy. It is your first Wrestlution so you have to go out there and capture that audience in your net! I also really like that you've named him and given him some personality. It worked really well for Dupree/Chuck (or.... Dupree at least. I guess Chucks life has gone to shit). BOO! (I feel like I'm playing a game with my baby niece here xD). He didn't really have to do or say anything, but I'm still ready to see what kind of element he's planning on bringing to the ironman match. Motherfucker really just flew a hot air balloon to 'Lution? Why not just teleport in with your golden transporter of Betterness?! YOU PUT STEIN AND IGOR BEHIND A WHEEL?! That's so sweet, even as much as he hates Suda he can't stand to be without him so he bought a fathead. Oh.... I guess not xD. Solid RP from a terribly expensive imagination. Not going to go into the rush match all that much because it disappointed me heavily. Bedlam was awesome as usual just fucking shit up. But anyway. I really wanted to see Luke win this match. Look at it on paper, two alts, a guy who has the consistency of air, and a first year OCW'er who could have used a win at his first 'Lution. But he got eliminated first. I was very disappointed. And the guy I would have liked to have won the least ended up winning. Nothing against you as a person Jookie, I just don't trust you to actually gain any momentum and use it, so I'd rather you not gain it at all when others could have it (that complaint sounds kind of familiar....). We also thought you were sane at one point Trance. Boy were we wrong! This was a very good RP. Though not truthful in the least, dude is always trying to tell me he's God xD. He's the heel but I still hope he whips Raze's ass later on in the night because he just plain deserves it. Mugen's pulling a Jeff Hardy with the ladder over here. Damn, Mugen finally grew a spine. This could have some interesting developments. C-2? Page 3 The Garden RP was awesome! KD is probably one of the few guys here that if he tries can make a voice that could convincingly fit his CAW. I was in a skype call with Wheeler and D while watching most of 'Lution, so I misheard the video and thought I heard Ernsmore was coming back when he was listing his victims. This was much better xD. Lexington is trying to draw the dark side out of Tobin, and I can't thank him enough. Let me make it plain, if Tobin doesn't tap into that, he's not going to survive this main event because I will maim him. I liked that Tobin didn't say a word in this segment, Lexington said everything that needed to be said, and it more effectively communicated Tobin's frustration than it would have if he had tried to verbalize it. I hope Our Hero has someone to fight in his corner or Leon's going to have an easy waltz to company control here. Actually, maybe that's a good thing for me personally..... Drago vs Cobra was an O.K. match. It seemed a little thirsty, but at the same time we have to remember these are still two "newer" guys so it's excuseable. Eeire does have a solid claim to being a Bombshell original, not that, that's necessarily going to help her in the ring. I'm also terrified of the concept of someone shitting piss. Page 4 There we go! Johnny Law is the getaway man! Oh, that did not go as planned at all for Drago. Not all that often you see feuds continue past a 'Lution. It should be interesting to see how the hunt progresses. So they changed it to an I-quit match interesting. Out of curiosity if either of you read this is it because you thought it fit the storyline better or because there's something wrong with the LMS game mechanic? I haven't played it in a while (maybe ever on this version of WWE, I don't remember), so I'm just wondering for future reference. I wholeheartedly expected Pine to win this because she's fucking huge! But Eerie came through and now the title is back with the team that never should have lost it. JUSTICE (except the real kind)! Marriage isn't something I'd have seen (again at least) for Dimsmore with the way he changed over the years. Lacy must mean a lot to him, which is interesting to see for the character since he hates just about everyone else xD. Good to see an RP with everyone involved, speaks to the effort as getting everyone an RP in time can be a pain in the ass. Mugen better be careful or Lacy's going to take him out before the match starts. Buffness also be careful or he's going to poke one of those girls' eyes out when his muscles explode cause he's used too much of a certain substance. Why you gotta put Lacy in the garden though? She didn't do anything to you! Page 5 How are you going to disrespect your boss like that Trisha?! You may be Yale trained, but I still expect Lindsay to get crushed! So we have confirmed Dupree doesn't really like the Suda-fathead like I had thought earlier :/. You know, I've not consciously thought a whole lot about the fact that this ironman match determines who will take over OMG. I just kind of thought OMG was going to stay fractured for the rest of all time. Tobin's hype video was pretty sweet. Started from nothing now he's here! Except it's just not going to be enough! I liked the grayscale touch and how you showed Tobin unlocking the inner madman. Somehow last night I skipped McGee's solo RP. Guess I need to take a look at it real fast. Contract was up *cough* yeahright! *cough* Awww, did they upset you by pointing out how the better part of Cerberus has only gone up the ladder since parting? Poor buffness :P. All you have to do is win that FI and come at me bro! (Maybe, maybe it's not that easy. We won't know until we figure out what's in that damn case this year) God damn it Rufus. The Minio/Cut-Throat match was pretty good. Frankly I think in terms of putting on a match they were kind of fighting an uphill battle against the game mechanic, because sometimes the game decides to knock you out forever in matches like these off of nothing because of the match type. But it was still a good showing. I kind of wish the ending had been a little more climactic, but it was still a vicious headmove on the outside, so I suppose that's climactic enough to finally put Bobby down. Page 6 Don't use me to sell your RP Raze. There's no reason that a record of my history should have been a fourth of your RP xD. Trance is over here acting like his family is more important than winning. What garbage! The light metaphor was good, and definitely true cause you won't let anyone shine a light on your message, then they'd realize how fake it is! For real though, I hope you win tonight. Before I talk about the match itself I want to say I was not digging when everyone was being told that the FI was going to be just a trophy this year. That totally kills the meaning of it, and the name Future INVESTMENT would seem to be a total farce. The way that it's explained before the match started by the commentary I actually kind of like it. It's more like an investment. You usually invest on potential without knowing for sure which way your investment's going to go in the long run, and the new "reward" seems to fit that name better. It also makes it more intriguing because you don't know what the reward is as an audience (though maybe not more really, because it was exciting never knowing when the winner would cash in). The match was very good. Much less clusterfucky than normal FI's. I would have been good with any of these four winning (though no offense to Dimsmore, a little disappointed had he won given he's won it before). I'm very happy for McGee, it'll be fun seeing what you get out of this. And if it's a world title shot you know where to find me sir. Nets everywhere! Nati's a fucking dickhead xD. The OMG hype video was intense. I saw most of this when it actually happened, but there were a couple of things that I missed when I was away for that year so I very much enjoyed this recap video. Page 7 I remember being in the Xbox party when Suda was talking about/showing off these new Bombshells to Mugen and Dupree. He was pretty hyped about that, so, so am I. God they need more serviceable three person entrances, not that the Legacy one is bad, but I feel bad when I use it because it's the A-Team's and everyone uses it. SPARTA! Anna took power of the jail cell just in time to leave xD. Think she's in a good enough condition to fight tonight after this? This match went how it "should" have went but how it shouldn't have at the time time. Trance wanted to give this match the storybook ending, and Raze benifited from that. As you can see where Trance taunts and takes the irish whip leading to the ending. He wanted to give Recon the win, which was very nice of him and it looked good. But lets be honest, Trance and Sid should have won this. I was hoping they were going to take it after Sid handed each guy a DVD and Trance went for the 5*, but sadly it was not to be. Tobin's over here telling parables. Whatever helps you man. He says he's willing to do whatever it takes. Good. Page 8 I didn't realize until I saw Bobby's comment that MVP had done any similar promo about the title being power. Sorry if you all felt like I stole it, I haven't seen TNA in a few months now. Rothschild put up way more of a consistent fight than I ever expected her to. I in no way thought she was going to win this. I figured with the way the Bombshell division is pretty story based, they'd have the fairytale ending to the story with the face winning, so the curve ball was actually kind of nice. That was a hell of a punch at the end there! I really have no idea what Nati's going to do here. The match would have been enough as is, more than enough, but Nati's "MADNESS!" just makes it even more a must-see. I think at this point most people saw Parker coming as the guy to take up for JCS. Which is good if you ask me. It was a swerve, but had so much logic to it with the way Pugh and Parker left things that it really wasn't. Then add in how much Parker wants Leon gone, I mean, essentially he already thought he took care of that, so now he's back to finish the job. The entrances were solid. D and Wheeler were quite a bit ahead of me in the show and when they mentioned Godzilla I was like "Oh no...." (not in a bad way) xD. Everyone also knew Pugh was going to lose the match because the Leon CAW needs an exit. That being said, the match was still a solid one. Pugh controlled it for me than I had predicted, but I think part of that may have been because the ending was predetermined as it didn't look like Parker was going all-out. Page 9 From "All-Black-Everything" to Your World Heavyweight Champion. This Trance RP here basically reiterates everything I said about the match xD. It'll be interesting to see where Trance goes from here. I think we all should have known there would be an entirely separate video for entrances xD. It was well worth it though, the entrances alone were awesome. Kind of reminded me of how OCW of old handled the Jaysin World Order. Everyone comes out and then everyone dies and goes away. Just how it should be! This match may be one of the only ones that could have gone thirty minutes and still have been entertaining. I loved Nati's part in it, but ultimately I'm glad he got replaced because it allowed us to really focus on the two most important parts of the match for the last half, or third, or however long it was, of the match. I don't think I personally would have gone the way they did with all of the falls in that these are moves that most people kick out of all the time in matches with these two, yet here they sold them hard. But ultimately most people would probably have gone with a ton of near falls instead, so it was nice to see something different. It was a fantastic last match, if it is indeed Dupree's last match. I hope not, but if anyone's actually going to stay away from the ring I could see it being him. I know you'll still be around, but good luck going back to school man. Page 10 Cool to see a Kliq esque moment here. I was hoping we'd see Pato at some point, as he hasn't been on this Lution until now. I made a video to go before the ME, but either Jay missed it or didn't like it very much. The idea was for us each to have a video showing how we got here in our careers, then a third devoted to our feud. It's a little small, cause I realized most of best moments were either in multi-mans (i.e. didn't yield good quality footage for a recap video), were videos in which we avoided contact with each other to build suspense for the match itself, or we wrote it out so it couldn't be used in a recap xD. But here's the video in case anyone's interested: https://www.dropbox.com/s/4do1fe4b0zuket6/StormFrost%20hype.wmv I hope everyone thought the ME delivered. This was probably the most consistent Lution I've ever seen. I thought just about every match delivered what it was supposed to or went beyond what I had expected. The written content was awesome and I loved being apart of this event. I feel like I kind of lucked into the Main Event in that I got my title shot fairly close to 'Lution time, none-the-less I loved having the chance to go out and main event. I also want to make sure that I say thank you very much to Theo. Most didn't think I could deliver any type of quality content (some probably still think that xD) and didn't want to work with me because of that. But you stepped up to lend me a hand when I was kind of treading water and I very much appreciate it. I can see why Nate Ortiz is such a hallowed name around here. 10
Parker Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 The 'pre double red tombstone' was an accident by Rose , he went for a sig, and it turned into a finisher just as he hit the button, [stupid game mechanics] , purely accidental, as he went for the pick -up sig, and it turned into a pick-up finisher, which made it look even worse...which I explained to Wheeler as we were playing..but Johnny's was done on purpose to make it look like a 'crazy spot' as I was told, which I understand, but it's still against FPR, plus I used our 1 break up on the pin after it, which never should have counted..so it was kind of shitty overall....nothing against those 2 guys as I like them, and they have some nice spots together, but that match was just kinda crappy due to those 2 things happening. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! This match may be one of the only ones that could have gone thirty minutes and still have been entertaining. It was 30 mins, we just warped the time space continuum. As I mentioned COUNTLESS times matches are done by Comp then the storied result is modified to adjust. I don't just preach it I live it. Had Pugh won, the angle would have had pugh oust Leon (ending the leon char arch) and Pugh would have become the GM, under C4 Law retiring from competition. With stips like no leaving the ring, KO on or whatever other horseshit he had. Etc. At which point another war of wills would take place to usurp command. Probably for the better no one could handle booby in charge! Plan for both variables. 1 15-06, 18:20 Tiberius Dupree make him tap with brownie mix "Booking Wrestling is the most thankless no-win position anyone could ever be in. Dimsmore Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Didn't expect Park and Nate to show up on Team JCS. Nice swerve. Also, I hate my own OMG brethren for the Vegas-Style title fight entrances. And I see you Roofus with my patented Nike Slides and high stripe socks. Also, how did you get mom jeans for Aunt Marie?? 3 "Nesquehoning penn, is the greatest hometown in the history of hometowns." - Mr.Sensation
Dimsmore Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 The people for Suda's entrance got more and more serious as it got closer to him coming out. Marked for the African dancers. Suda is looking more and more like Anoki as the years past. And damn, all those shinning wizards left him bowlegged as hell. And I'm willing to bet that Minami is buck naked under that robe. Geez, can the match start already?? "Nesquehoning penn, is the greatest hometown in the history of hometowns." - Mr.Sensation

Dimsmore Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 I bet you Tobin was holding out on his attire abilities this whole damn time. I wish Cody's jacket had a Star of David and not a cross. But it get's the point across. Match starts with 2 hoss's running at each other. Now I gotta unpause. "Nesquehoning penn, is the greatest hometown in the history of hometowns." - Mr.Sensation
