Also you don't have a time limit unless told so. Sometimes matches just go a bit longer than some feel they should. It's not an indication to change anything. Just his opinion.

The time limit is just about watchability, if you're an unheard of guy then when your matches start going over 15 minutes, people aren't gonna sit through them. But that's up to your opponent as well, felt Trance was a bit keen to put over TJ Stevens, who nobody cares about.

 

I liked your look, RP & finisher. Moveset tweaks are expected the first few weeks, you'll get a feel for what looks wrong, etc. Talking about the title is a common rookie thing, but I wouldn't fret half of us probably did it.

 

In the past 2 months, the ps4 side has had an influx of very promising new recruits and if they stick around we won't have enough belts to keep the lower end of the roster happy. I think there may be plans ahead for the new guys, if Aries thing goes ahead, which would be good, because an incentive definitely increases a desire to put in work. I also think an R-Cup at the same time as the S-Cup would be quite good. Call it the handout era, whatever, I'm just keen to see the roster grow & stay big. I think a developmental show will help that.

The general plan I had in another league was to play matches to win and then record a rematch where we plan out spots and talk them through. 2K without commentary can get really boring, so if the action doesn't hold up, it won't help maintain viewers.

I don't mind it since it's coming to me rather respectfully instead of "Alex sucks" and leaving me to question my entire existence to figure out what the issue was.

It's sort of my job to entertain. After all, what's the point in recording if none of it's worth watching? If keeping things around a certain time helps viewers stay invested, then it's something to aim for so long as my opponent is cool with doing a scripted rematch.

Thanks. I honestly think it was okay to talk about the title so long as I didn't immediately challenge the champion. That would be crossing the line, but just mentioning it didn't seem too taboo.

 

Also, although I'm new to OCW, I've been in another league and was there for roughly two years overall. We had it set up in "seasons" so to speak and the site closed down half way through my third season. I missed out on half of the second season since I gave away my xbone to my brother to take to college. The more restrictive rules for playing are what's new to me. Doing promos isn't.
