Took me two days to finish the show. Pardon my typos, I'm sleepy and don't care.

 

The final stretch of matches with Parker, Mugen, Dunn, B-17, and Malu was probably the most fun and stressful times I've had this season. The last man standing with Malu, match with Trance at SL, and the Turmoil finale with Parker left me with little time to blink. That feeling of ‘this mother fucker…’ When you've put your controller down after hitting a finisher on them, and they kick out leads to hilarity.

 

Anyway, Turmoil has come a long way. There was a time I didn't think we’d have a show. Nor did we deserve one. I think most of our roster stepped it up and saved the show. There was no other choice. Supplementing Riot would be unacceptable, and I feel we’ve shown the ps4 people can put on a good show. So, that’s something to look forward to.

 

i feel we ended on a strong note, and came a long way from where we started. We are all starting fresh, and I'm sure a new game will shift balance in power. Starting strong this season didn't necessarily result in people ending strong this season. And ending strong this season doesn't necessarily mean you'll start strong next season. I’ve always been a late bloomer when it comes to these games, so next season should net some interesting results.

 

I think the show was a good way to finish, and props to cactus for taking initiative to get on when not booked. I know the ending moments are viewed negatively by some of our PS4 people. But, it's a war. Some give and take is needed. I was given a rematch with Parker, and DB barely retained. Rev inc and the club was scattered. Jackson was attacked, Sophia was gone, drago is in the hospital, versus was with Drago, Ortiz had to recover. It was a numbers game, fighting them all off after a 33 minute Match isn't realistic.

 

I know there were criticisms about Dennis's thunder being stolen again. I do appreciate it. But Dennis and Madison aren't deserving of that happy moment just yet. Madison is a heel that is only recently becomming redeemable, and Dennis is controlled by her approval. He's not all that noble. If it were jimmy getting attacked at the end of Cide or this finale, I would be annoyed. That's the kind of character that deserves to end on a strong note.DB will have his moment to shine without interruption, it just wasn't this season. A feud is give and take. Leon put a lot of work Into that video.

 

Few things about some of our Turmoil guys.

 

Seb, you're an asset and I hope you can take time away from selling your body in real life to be around more.

 

Jack, you're a national treasure.

 

Kass, you'll always be our first champion and that cannot be taken away from you. You were the strongest on the sticks when we started this, by far. If you start in 17 the way you did in 16, and continue writing the way you are now, no one will be able to have any complaints.

 

Jackson, you're the longest reigning and the best Turmoil heavyweight Champion we’ve had so far. Something Malu or myself hope to live up to and surpass one day. I think you and KD have golden material as a tag team, if you choose to run with it and have the time.

 

Trance, without you and Aries there would be no Turmoil. You've given new guys a lot of good matches. And you seem a lot happier being able to focus more so on story lines and matches. Your feud of the year was with Someone you aren't even allowed to hit, which is awesome.

 

Aries, a big part of me doing well in the second half of the season was you allowing me to bring the gts out of retirement. I'm appreciative of you, and hope we can have a match one day.

 

Jimmy, you've got the top baby face underdog market cornered. It's something I wanted, but you do it better than any of us and it will be yours for as long as you want it.

 

Cactus, the WH is one of the best things about Turmoil. My only suggestion would be to do two riot and two turmoil guys a month. The WH is a tool that can be used to help others build their feuds. You're an asset, even if you don't feel like one at times.

 

Dunn, I think you're the stand out member of the convoy. I'm not sure what is next for your crew, but I hope you guys stick around.

 

# is one of the few guys here that had a heel turn this season that actually made sense and didn't fall flat shortly after the turn. Most of the turns this season were lukewarm. But guys like Lee and Tobin actually had reasoning for it, reasons we saw as the season went on. I hope you are active next season. A Lee and Jackson feud is needed.

 

Soph, you my homie. You definitely brought back the women's division and even got others to make bombshells. You've been able to make a main that most people like, and an alt that most hate. You're like fem Nate. Oddly enough, The shell feuds have had more character development than a lot of the guys. My only complaint is that Madison should be your main and not your alt. I like her more >:|

 

Boob 17, though your posts get no sold, you're still our top competitive face going into next season if you choose to be. You have options. You've also lost the title of meme ber to cactus. It's never coming back. I'm not sure how hard you prayed to get the punch as a catch finisher, but congrats!

 

Quinn. Probably the best troll character the site has had since the skulls. Keep it up! Sham!

 

Dustin, I think you would fair well as a face. Like a Ziggler type. You've come close in a lot of losses, but are always competitive. I think you should run with it.

 

Ed, you're a piece of shit. But I think you play a big guy well enough. My only suggestions would be new attire. But that's something Jack and soph can help you with. I think a jack knife suits you better as a finisher. Or a choke slam. Though it largely went unnoticed due to...ahem...reasons, I think the Madison, black and Ed story was one of the better Turmoil feuds this season.

 

Majin you've been a big help to soph, bringing Casey and Willow over to the ps4. Willow and kat are the kind of comp that keeps soph wanting to improve. It's a shame we never got to link up with Blake and Black, but that's what next season is for. I don't think the rev inc and skwad war is over by a long shot. I desperately wanted to emulate your rookie year and be a triple Champion. It just wasn't in the cards for me. There's still time, I guess. But it's a difficult path.

 

Joe Z! Welcome back. I hope things are better with you. Your disappearance definitely left a void, at least with your orphanage mates. I hope you bring back little L and Joe next season.

 

Leon, you're a sausage and you've helped Turmoil. I hear this season was a rebirth for your character. I'd like to see sid come back, one day. I think the Queens of Wrestling tag team ended way too soon. But it was better than them overstaying their welcome and getting stale.The Alex and Madison feud is something I'm looking forward to next season.

 

Adam Adams, I'm bummed you took a break when you were hot. You came in with great initiative. I had always hoped and figured you'd be the one to end DB’s TV title run. I hope you get back on the horse next season.

 

Nate / Tobin / Malu, you've been one of the biggest helps to me this season, dare I say tied with Madison’s writer. I don’t think Cide would have happened without you vouching for me along with a few other circumstances. Dming a lot with a person you're feuding with seemed foreign to me, but I think it helped me sort of keep up with you. You also gave me crucial advice on how to manage my angst with OCW’s culture. When the time comes during my time as a vet in the future, I'll pay your kindness forward to a rookie that I feud with. Giving him a opportunity when I don't have to.

 

Lastly, to some riot guys, you accepted a Turmoil noob playing on both consoles, and helped me get better in private while still shitting on me in public lol. I know some vets and riot rooks were annoyed about losing to a Turmoil guy after burying Turmoil, but I think eventually some respect between the show's developed when I wasn't embarrassing myself on Riot. I was given the chance to ME Summercide and both season finales in my first season, and that isn't lost on me. I was given the ball, and I won't pull a Michael Hollywood on you.

 

A big thanks to spider for letting me prove that only he can finish someone with the Phoenix splash, even if he doesn't have Dennis’s range. You also gave me the single high knee,which has become a dangerous finisher in the current landscape of OCW. With those two moves being on DB, I think a brief return from spider would be interesting.

 

It's only my first year so i’m not really in a position to give advice, but the only suggestion I can give to my fellow newbies is to pick the brains of orange names. I've asked for a lot of advice and mixed and matched the advice that was given to me. Sure, you'll get an eye roll here and there and be told you suck, may even take a few days to get a response, but none of them have ever ignored me when I needed some advice. Matsuda said I should go cruiser, and I never looked back after cutting weight. Parker gave me advice on mixing up kicks and springboards, and not using the reversal animations to my advantage. It was an issue of ethics, i get that now. And drago...after losing you like 9 times in one night before facing Malu at Summercide, I think it helped me Improve. Dupree! We'll tag one day and be called 'Black Fire' or something.

 

Looking forward to hanging out with soph and kass this saturday for early 2k play. A picture of a milk shake with three straws may be taken just to cheer Jay up. I might make a Mugen JUST to see him with the Nakaurma entrance.

 

Enjoy the well earned break, I'll return to being my angsty self when it's time to plan the anniversary show.
