Blackbeard Posted February 4, 2017 Posted February 4, 2017 I just tried to watch turmoil and I saw a guy who's better than 90% of the roster choose to ignore his own ability to give the most boring person in ocw history a chance. It's a nice sentiment, but that shit is so transparent b. Fuck 'competitive' redos Cody returned?
Pugh Posted February 4, 2017 Posted February 4, 2017 Cody returned? Cody looks like flyin Bryan compared to b17 No.

Big Ed Posted February 4, 2017 Posted February 4, 2017 Great show bros, broetts, and the one tranny on the Turmoil roster. B17 should keep the death entrance. 1
Dennis Black Posted February 4, 2017 Posted February 4, 2017 Have we considered just enjoying the show? It was a very good show with good matches from top to bottom. If Jay enjoyed the match, isn't that what matters more than anything? I care more about presentation and story than anything else in this place. My priority list is 1. Story 2. Presentation, and 3. Competition comes in at last. Turmoil 150 was and 'is' very important to me. My critique of everyone and everything on the show was going to be high. I would never put up a match i wasn't proud of. Riot has had 457 episodes, and Turmoil has had 150. Was Riot 'excellent' from the jump? No. And I know that, because i've watched old shows and have been told there were dark times. Turmoil is fine right now. The people here care about our content and are working to improve. Is it so bad you have a Champion that competes and behaves himself as such? Were there this many complaints when Majin held three titles? Or when Nate held two? Nothing lasts forever. People like Senpai, Dupree, Dimsmore and others had the opportunity to 'build' themselves and a brand. I plan on doing the same. If i started out on XB1, I know for a fact I would have been pigeon holed into the light weight or even the tag division rather than feud for the world title in my rookie season. And I would still be there a year later fighting alts while waiting for Senpai's return. Turmoil gave me the opportunity to sink or swim, rather than be stuck in a niche due to Doug's size. For that, regardless of my frustrations from a year ago, I will always be loyal to Turmoil. Without Turmoil, would there have been this kind of discussion about me? Doubtful. Without Turmoil, there would have been no opportunity to even make an attempt at standing out in the way the Doug / Blond herpes have, because Riot people don't watch Turmoil. When I think about the two consoles, Ps4 has had better rookies because we 'had' to be better. We had to grow faster. We didn't have a plethora of Hall of Famers to feud with. B17, Jackson, Kass, and Jimmy were put to the fire from the start, because they 'had' to carry a show. They 'had' to be the main event, even though they were not ready. Ps4 rookies had to develop faster because they experienced pressure from the start. Shift over to the Riot rookies of last season, with Carter, Tre, and Xander...they didn't have to carry a show. They could miss content for a month if they pleased, and Riot would not have suffered. Because you had Parker, Nate, McGee, and other veterans. Those rookies are also gone now...keep that in mind. What i'm trying to say is, our views have been on par with yours. And I believe we had some better shows. I say this as someone that 'watches' both from start to finish. As someone who plays on both, I honestly don't see much of a difference in skill other than the obvious stand outs like Nate, Drago, and Mugen. Parker being on ps4 primarily will be good for us, and me. Feuding with Nate last season only made me better, and feuding with Parker will only make me better. You know....when the character earns the attention of Dennis and Madison <3 I have zero intention of falling off any time soon. No one else on Ps4 does either. The show and the roster will improve over time. Imagine a Turmoil 300 with myself, B17, Jackmo, Jack, Ding, Wrex, Cactus, Seb, Dustin, and others as seasoned veterans? It will take time. The run i'm on now will be appreciated long after it's over, because the next Turmoil champion without an orange name will be a 'star' and a hero when Cinnamon is defeated. Orchestrating a title change just to get the TV belt off of me won't do the next guy any good, and you know that. Because I can get it back at anytime. Let someone take it upon themselves to improve and be the next TV Champion. They'll be better for it if they do it on their own, like many other champions before them. Give us time, and appreciate this for what it was. We barely made it to 110, but here we are at 150. There shouldn't be a Rush to have DB primarily on Riot. Riot of the future will look like Present day Turmoil, only with Madison holding the World and LHW titles rather than the World and TV. 14

Dennis Black Posted February 4, 2017 Posted February 4, 2017 Congrats to Ethnic Sophia on recapturing the women's title. Been a long road since losing it at Summercide. 1
