Im gonna dispute that on the basis that if you've got no reversals you're well within your rights to get the fuck out of dodge. It's not unethical, it's smart. Yeah it breaks the flow of the match, but I don't think it's necessarily bad. You're gonna end up eating the fin anyway, so what's building up another finisher?

I believe, if I'm understanding Pugh correctly, that thats his point. He feels that it shouldn't be an FPR break. And I see where he's coming from, because right now its perfectly legal for someone to jam on the sprint button on a major reversal and hoof it away from their opponent. In spirit thats the same thing as rolling out. I think its a discussion worth having next season if rollouts work the same way they do right now.

Someone like buddy can also hit you before you can take advantage but thats more about ring position. If you got them grounded and ready for call up you are clearly in the advantage position amd shouldnt lose it, both standing after a major is still even for anyone to take control of the pace.

But the advantage is still there if you chase the person down. If you're dumb enough to let them taunt after a major reversal that's on you. It shouldn't be an fpr break cos it's completely avoidable if you follow up correctly.

It's something on the table to consider going into the next season. FPR is constantly evolving, as we noticed. Like the whole sig into fin thing. Was a thing then became not a thing.

 

All in all for the most part this year has been pretty fucking ok when it comes to FPR. Gone are the days of screaming, banning, and berating dopes for constant FPR offenses. Least now more ppl "GET IT".
