There was one that started out with a line about a "souped up Monaro" and before even reading on I knew it was gonna be a Seb Abbott segment hahaha. Monaro's are grouse. Interested to see how this situation with the Circle and Dennis works out too. My image don't load no mo so fuck it.
B-17 Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 Intro: Tired and true. Anything that involves Madison and Sophia has some zing in it, I'm a fan. I would love to see a more definitive ending to their time together but that is mostly a identification of how dominate their characters remain. So everything is being built for them. Everyone else seems insignificant in the inevitable explosion. Minor dislike: Could we get a larger break between RPs? As it currently is, it is very hard to tell where one RP ends and another begins with the *** separating them. Capo vs. Yoku: Laughed at the Invictus support shirt. Got to give credit to Lee for the idea. Match was expected until Capo lost it. Lee interference was expected, but fact that Capo lost it means that he has gotten better to the point that he can control matches, just got to work on putting the matches away now. Good on you Yoku for hanging in there. Crown rp: Ok guys, the card playing thing...can't do it without Bingo. Every poker game needs Bingo. Crown RP: Dennis has no lost his edge, but he is not as evil as that bitch Madison. Dennis. Come to Invictus. You can stay out all night with us and get drunk, and no one will tie you up at the end of the night...maybe... Ricky vs. Charles Young: Good win, Ricky. I'd like to point out that your new sig was once an sig for the greatest underdog that Turmoil ever had. Wrex RP: So wildly inconsistent with the character. Since I've returned I've seen depressed Wrex, technical Wrex, now financially unstable Wrex that calls conspiracy. Invictus Rp: Bingo had a tumor. Imagine that. Rose Tyler vs. Roxy Rose: So pale it's gross. Capo RP: Idk what Capo is saying, I have to go watch The Godfather Part 2, so that might help. Jett vs. Pudge: In terms of damage Pudge got worked over, but he made a valiant comback at the end (Go Invictus Go) and made the match interesting. That being said Jett ended it with A NEW MOVE! I don't actually like it too much, but I understand why you let go of Trouble in Paradise. So I think we need to see a Austin Lee vs Jett match now. Because if Lee loses that means that Bingo was the only one to beat Jett and therefore should be the ruler of Invictus! Tag match: Diamond is a stud. No lie. Love the simple look. I dub highwood the galactic pimp. Nice to see CJ stepping in to help. Also welcome Justin. However, Diamond High was a much better tag unit tonight and looked very very good. Madison Cox Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 Just wanted to say I thought it was a Good showing by Wrex regardless of the limb damage. This was their first official encounter in ocw. Wrex started to get in a groove with his approach toward the end. But by the end the damage was hard to overcome. I think Wrex can build off of this. Regarding b17’s comments, I do think some consistency with wrex’s character is needed. Jimmy Henry Posted February 15, 2018 Posted February 15, 2018 Good show, some thoughts: - Agree that *** isn't always an obvious enough indicator that there is a switch in RPs. - Muryo wearing Invictus is rubbish, good win though. I like what I've seen of both these rookies. - Crown RP was pretty funny, Gentleman's Club influence. Bit OTT for me - that's my general feeling on RPs were faceless hoes, general public, staff, etc. are getting knocked about. - Good win for Ricky, still using about 5 names too many. My old finisher down to a sig, at least you managed to land it, I never could. - Hope there's a twist in this Wrex story regarding FI. Would be nice to see him get involved in a more traditional title feud. I'd have cashed it in on Seb. - The Japanese alts thing was and will continue to be boring. Muryo spreading himself thin getting involved. Are you a Young Drake, in Invictus or getting in on this NJPW-lite mince. When I joined I was trying to do too many things at once, and you end up regretting it. - Cancer doesn't explain half the shit that B-17 talks. - Rose Tyler CAW is quite fit for a bunch of pixels, don't recognise that gamertag, newbie? Skipped through it, good win. - Capo going full Tony Soprano. RPs have been good. - Impressive win for "The Pariah". Not the most popular, but can't deny the ability on the sticks. I do like Archer's leg targetting moveset (regardless if Kass done it first), but I know from experience it's quite limited in choice, putting yourself at a deliberate disadvantage. - My only gripe, and it's not just with Jett, just happens to be this match where I saw it and reminded me - whenever I see a finisher from behind, done from the front with that little jab setup, I'm just like meh. You get an advantage from the weird timing and the reversal window is tiny. I'm not a fan of these kind of finishers, feel like they cheapen the win slightly. Stellar performance otherwise. - Jehst RP as a flashy businessman. If he wasn't currently feuding with "Diamond High", I reckon the 3 of them would make a great trio. All sort of, flashy, self-assured, but each with individual styles. - Is Frankie Highwood a rookie? RPs are polished, great look (& theme music!), and decent moveset that fits his characters size. Been impressed everytime I've seen him, makes me wonder. - I'd ask the same about Joseph Diamond. Again very slick. Like the big guy-little guy dynamic of this team. Could challenge for those coveted paper plates. - Justin Jehst theme is great, and I like his look. These dudes should be friends, man. Appreciated his technical style, but it can be hard to dominate in OCW with a wrestling style like that. - I'm a massive CJ mark, mostly because he's basically Irish Jimmy. But better, and without the world-weary cynicism. - Poor Wrex took a doing from DB. We've all been there. - End RP was cool for setting up CG. I wonder who the mystery "brotha" is. Perfect Circle & Chamber on CG, gonna be a dope PPV. 2
