Riot 500: What A Show

I love the blend of kayfabe/real life Discord shit talk that went into the build of Dims/Our Hero. I was looking forward to seeing both dudes beat the crap out of each other and also seeing Jay struggle to remember FPR. He did a good job for the most part! Also I thought this was a street fight. Where the weapons at? Sad! Oh well, at least Jay will never let Dims live this down ever.

 

The Main Event is a classic. MOTY candidate. The final segment definitely has me thinking. Will Nate turn hell? Did Nate Ortiz finally live long enough to become Nate Ortiz???? I thought what I said was just a prank, but it might be a reality T______T

 

Still trying to get through the show in its entirety, lots of stuff to go through and analyze here. Thanks to Bookerman for offering me a match at 500. I really didn't expect to have anything there outside of the segment I had originally planned. A while ago, I didn't even think about having anything at Lution......

First off hats off to the entire OCW roster except Rose/Scaar for putting in ALL your hard work and effort to making Riot 500 as memorable as it could be.

 

Shout out to Bobby Minio! That comeback made me have to go change my pants after the match. I really really tried to end you early as I said to you in discord. But you didn’t back down! We made each other better and that match. Maybe they’ll be a rubber match? We shall see!

 

Kassidy vs Austin - When I saw that this match was 12mins I was shocked. I thought it would be at least 15mins. I’ve read Austin’s rp before the match and thought he was gonna go in. Kass in Kass fashion took control of the match from the very start. I was rooting for Kass before the match started being that he respresents Riot. But he showed Turmoil that he can come back at anytime and dominate. After all, that’s where he started if I’m not mistaken.

 

Linking Austin’s rp to the match...I think Austin (Not the handler) should’ve taken it more seriously. That’s just my opinion.

Austin got his ass beat and lost to his own move, what more could you want?

 

Quartz vs Rust

 

First of a few comeback stories from 500, though admittedly I wasnt expecting it to be Quartz having to fight his way back. Interesting match with some good near falls. GG to Quartz and Rust, from whichever hole he's currently residing in.

 

Heather vs A box of frosted flakes

 

Was honestly expecting Doc to murder this walking skin deficency. And it mostly was till whats his tits fought back from the brink for the upset win. Would of been better if he didnt flake just a couple hours later but what can you do. Riot got a bald chick and some removed dead weight sooo win?

 

KD vs Tobin vs Sean vs Mez

 

Four black and apparently very unsafe hosses got into a ring and beat shit out of each other for about twenty minutes. It's what it sounds like and it was enjoyable as all hell to watch.

 

Cort vs STEVE

 

A true American patriot vs what I imagine a manager of an upstate New York Papa Johns looks like. Even with this match obviously being what it was it was still a damn good fifteen minutes.

 

Dimsmore vs Jay (I refuse to call him by that nickname)

 

Nope, awful, wrong guy won, I hate it. 0/10

 

Unsanctioned

 

Only joke I have for this is was the match unsanctioned to keep big Vinny away from the door or to cover for the fact that it was probably known that the fpr handbooks only purpose was to be thrown as a projectile circa ECW Sabu? Yeah this is just a really good match with about six flips a minute. Seriously everything past this point (including this) is really good.

 

Bobby vs H20

 

One word, kicks. Thrust kicks, dropkicks, superkicks. You want to see a kick well you're gonna see a fucking kick. Opens with one and closes with one, hell might of only been kicks in this match I genuinly cant remember.

 

Mugen vs Drago

 

Well Drago didnt open the match using my sig so it's aleady got a good rating. Turns out you cant put these two together without something good coming out of it, solid fifteen minutes. Then it followed by the appearance of Leon and instantly fell to my second least favourite match of the night. Blame the penguin race.

 

B vs Malu

 

Admittedly I might of already have heard how this song and dance went. But getting to actually see it made it a whole lot better. Even match all the way through till a flying punch puts b through to 200. Austin vs B17. Twice in a lifetime!

 

Main Event

 

Yeah, I aint got any jokes for this one. It's just really fucking good. Any rookies that haven't watched 500 yet, watch this. Shit like this is how you get better.

Capo with that exclusive Speak Easy, you always impress me with your content and willingness to get on every show, Ambition at it's finest.

 

Fuggn' Kass and H20 all over the damn show, kneesus christ did the two champs show up.

 

Every match had a great feel to it, even the Rose vs. Heather match, glad that bitch is bald!

 

Then the classics of Mugen vs. Drago and Suda vs. Spider. If I could do a dream Riot card this would be the closet thing to it.

 

Dims caught major hands! You're just paying rent b!

 

The entrances for like everyone were top tier, for some reason Drago's was my favorite. Maybe it was the simplicity of it all, it was prolly the arrow, definitely the Red Arrow! The Hunt is on for the Evil Penguin at Lution!

 

h20 vs. Boob didn't disappoint, the LHW division has been on fire with solid title matches. I honestly would like to see the tiebreaker at some point this season.

 

Congrats to Bingo, you and Austin will put on another great showing at 200, I can feel it!

 

Special but obvious shoutout to Jay for putting this all together while being sick, you're a crazy man, that's why this place is still kicking! Talk about work...my guy.

Why is 70 percent of those who join OCW lately have to be mean spirited, dark, Silver Surfer heralding doom evil characters?
