I mean, dont kick out at 1 of someone finisher if it has not a purpose (in the case a simple weekly match) then the 2 guys look at each other for years, roll up, boum. That was not good at all, but you'll make better next time I am sure of it.

Yea you are right about the bad ending, but the fact is that it is possible when a match isn't scripted. Being anyway a competitive "tournament", i was trying to win, even if my opponent had an huge advantage. Rules says that 2 pin breaks are possible, for sure if you take three final moves without making one, the only one thing you can do is to leave the joystick and accept the lost, but this was the first one. The bad ending was because i made a huge mistake on the rollup, and i'm aware of this and i will try to improve to not make these mistakes again and to not ruin matches as i made in this one.

RUDO’s Top Ten Turmoil Takeaways:

 

It's been hard keeping up with these last two shows but here it is:

 

1) Austin enters as Turmoils 3rd announcer? This will surely bring some interesting angles if roster members end up creating angles with him, ala Jim Ross or Lawler fighting against members of the WWE roster. Oops, spoke too soon; Scumciety already at his throat. Will be interesting to see what comes of that cowardly attack.

 

2) I know a lot of angles and ideas get recycled through wrestling, hell, my Hollywood gimmick has been done a ton. But we just got done with Code Terror’s paper plate angle at the end of last season. Bournistico, you can do so much more than that. They wore those because at the time there were no tag belts on Turmoil. They used those to birth a tag team scene. My advice, drop the belts and come up with another angle that suits you two. Maybe a one-ups-manship angle given you’re always playing that post-match clip where you’re taking the victory spotlight from each other. But that’s just, like, my opinion, man.

 

3) Scumciety are continuing to run Main Event angles even though they’re the tag champs. This feels so old school it’s great, like when tag teams used to Main Event shows in ages past. Looking forward to seeing where these guys go and how they continue to wreak havoc on Turmoil.

 

4) Trance to take on JackMo at some point? Is JackMo cross-console? If so, perhaps it won’t be Trance at all...

 

5) B Community turned out on this show, capping it off with a win against Scumciety in the ME. Plenty of RP’s and representation, don’t think these guys will slow down on that front either.

 

6) FloJo aiming to face Dragana for the belt? Hmm... I’d be interested to se how FloJo stacks up against the champ for sure.

 

7) Ricky – punctuation, my friend. Even just a full stop every now and then will do.

 

8) Cort showin’ up on Turmoil, putting in that cross-brand work like a true champ. Wonder if Shep will eventually take him on for that title or if their fractured team bond will mend.

 

9) It’s a shame Cactus is leaving he has a cool looking CAW, plus he put up a good fight against Code. Ah well.

 

10) Lack of rookie RP’s, even those booked. Bit of a shame; this is your time to put in work to get noticed and have people want to work with you. If you never RP, I wouldn’t want to work with you purely because I don’t know what you can offer in terms of storytelling or if you are a reliable contributor of content.

 

RPOTN: Has to go with Cort’s heartfelt ‘acceptance speech’. All the highs and lows have led to this moment; breathe it in man.

 

MOTN: I would have said Ashley vs. Myself but unfortunately my FPR issues in that match marred the exciting counter battles and kickouts. So in that case I went with the ME; quick, action packed, tag team moves, and followed up with an angle from Scumciety.

- Austin Lee on commentary! Will they kill him by the end of the episode?

 

- Mistico’s finisher looks hella OVW rookie.

 

- Bingo is the only white dude in the Community now. Like Owen in the nation.

 

- Great RP from the Nation of Consensual Domination, does a good job at showing each member’s personality with their banter.

 

- Blain with a promo that’s not quite face and not quite heel, saying she’s tired of cute girls getting all the marketing despite her skills. Tell 'em! Unfortunately her solution is to enjoy hurting people, so YMMV.

 

- Wrex stopped on your head eh, Jackman? Note to people who ain’t that great at writing, this is all you honestly gotta do. Be there. Do something. Doesn’t have to be a multi-act rock opera.

 

- Catfight! Almost. Ashley Moore still here existing and taking selfies. Feel like this gimmick could go further.

 

- I love the contrast between blacksmith’s standard rassling buttrock ent theme (granted it's very good buttrock) and that big dumb fuckin mask

 

- Betamax looks like what Bray should look like. Though with that theme he really should be sami zayn strutting to the ring, it’s too fast-paced and catchy to just slowly walk to.

 

- “Valk is fighting for a cure for autism.” I laughed, but realistically the first person she’d use that cure on is probably Flojo, soooooooOOOO. The interplay between Fem Drago and NotTheGuyFromTMNT is good as usual.

 

- Shame the album name wasn’t a pun. Like… Breizee Summer. A Trick of the Tayyl. Also fuck his name my mind recoils in disgust when I have to spell it.

 

- That is MAHOGANY!

 

- Archer getting that heel heat. I want Jehst to go Gargano on him and cripple him so hard one of Trance’s other alts feels it.

 

- Interesting debut promo for Captain Planet, not sure if a rookie or an alt but overall well-written. Possibly a bit too on the nose as a graceful hippy nature spirit but at the very least it’ll give great move names. Yeah bitch you just got A KISS FROM A ROSE. Got hit by a branch… of the UGLY TREE. Looks like your ass… is GRASS!

 

- Rag, nice to see you again but please my cracker. Use commas.

 

- Nice production value on that Aries vignette, not enough of an OCW history book to have seen a promo or match of his, but hey.

 

- Trance assures us that this is where the big (cruiserweight) boys play. Good energy from Jackson even if he doesn’t know what “elude” means.

 

- B17’s entrance is so well-timed to his Hasselhoff song that I almost forget how offputting he looks. Popped for the backside… of his shirt.

 

I actually watched the tag match!

- Damn Jay got mulched at the start. Good job by Bray keeping the camera on the outside akshon.

 

- World’s longest airplane spin. Gotta say I like Bray’s moveset… though that one is… egregiously annoying. Like B’s lazy ass “eh, i hitchu” clotheslines.

 

- Loved Jay just turning around and coldcocking B17. Bet other Jay popped for that.

 

- That slide move is P cool.

 

- Nice catch by Bray into the Power Bottom and that’s it. Didn’t expect Scumbellina to get beaten that decisively, but OCW is full of surprises! Like when Other Jay types a sentence that’s 100% correct English.

 

- Good way to get their heat back by abusing poor retired Jerry The # Lawler! Wrex does have an excuse because of the Kumite, too.

 

I heard some whining about the length of this show, and yeah, I guess some people are more MIA than they should be. But on the other hand, the content here is quality. A debut, a tease of a return, and very solid work from B17’s Twink Nation and Scumscarcity.
