Ashley getting back to less manipulative things and almost comes off like a face here, a preppy face, but you can kinda feel the hate for Valk is just for Valk. Empress on the other hand, is a foul mouthed heathen. Haven't seen much character-specific development yet, but this story is fun anyway, so that can come later.
