RUDO’s TURMOIL TOP 10 TAKEAWAYS:

 

1) Turmoil rookies are stepping up and RPing. Great to see the commitment, keep it up.

 

2) Solomon Caine def. TLBS. HUGE win for Caine considering TLBS probably should be the International champion right now. That should propel Caine towards fighting more top level competition. Also, the salami gag got me.

 

3) So is the mystery man Dillinger? Big D? I’m getting a feeling, though I’m probably wrong, I just want that slimeball back.

 

4) The Experience (?) def. Scumciety. Damn, b. The champs lose against a rookie tag team. Perhaps the tag division isn’t dead? If the belts are unified and stuck on one brand then there is basically no need for teams on the other brand, which is kind of a shame, but I get it. No point having a title for a division of 3 teams. Also, is Keith still here or did they just hi-jack his character for the RP? Confused.

 

5) Benji being consistent lately with the RP’s which is great, keep going man. The stick skills are there, you could be THE NEXT BIG TING!

 

6) Bray needs this face change to work to build heat for the match at Lution, but it’s incredibly easy to do against such a character as Archer. I think this may be a sleeper hidden gem match for Lution, I just have a feeling. Plenty of room to get ugly between these two characters.

 

7) TLBS - you can drop the Kass prodding now, he ain’t coming out of retirement to fight you...unless he is…? *THINKING EMOJI*

 

8) Did not expect Quartz to get bodied so badly, even though I know Bray is great at the game. Hey, it happens. I’m sure he’ll get a chance down the line to redeem himself.

 

9) The women's division on Turmoil is healthy as fuck right now, just need more heels, or at least a couple of tweeners and we’ll have feud combo’s for days. I’m intrigued as to who the next challenger for Blaine will be.

 

10) The CCW title match; wow. First of all, I have to give Adam props for putting the belt on the line in a multi-man match where it was really out of his control as to who may win. But that’s a fighting champion. On the other hand, to lose the belt so quickly I think damages the titles rep after months of build. I dunno if there was a reason for the match outside of an exciting Turmoil OUT OF NOWHERE main event, but hey, it is what it is, and gave us a surprise with Code coming out on top. It may have been sudden, but what’s done is done, and I’m always one to look at the bright side so what comes of this is new stories, new challengers, new feuds. I really hope Code steps up to the role of champion and pumps out a great championship run. Turmoil is on your shoulders now, bud; do us proud.

WATTS(185) vs (140)TUCKER

Not bad, I gotta say. I was honestly expecting worse, especially since I could see it was a 15-minute match (twice that the show starts with 15’s) but it was actually not too shabby.

 

There were a few occasions of over-using the same move, but both men provided a fair amount of diversity with their move-set; especially Tucker, who kept nailing major-move, after major-move. Perhaps, they were used too early, or at odd moments, but I applaud that he even attempted to use so many. He may have lost the match, but he almost doubled his previous score, so he’s heading in the right direction.

CAINE(120) vs (125)MATTEO

These guys start the match at full throttle with quick attacks and even quicker reversals. The pace slows down a bit, but not by much as both opponents whip each other around the ring like they were trying to make some scrambled eggs. It was very similar to a match within their weight class --something you’d see on TNA or NXT.

 

The ending was very nice and would have fit perfectly at a PPV match; however, I felt cheated when Matteo didn’t kick out, as I wanted to see these guys go at it a bit longer.

 

This was also one of the shortest matches that I recall ranking(a little under 7.5 minutes), and it’s making me think about how to keep it balanced with matches that actually run 15 minutes. As you can see, they only scored in the low hundreds, but if you take their Points-Per-Minute, and multiply it by 15 ... they would have doubled their scores.

 

I will bring this up with the Committee immediately ... which may lead to yet another fresh start in the rankings, but we’ll see. Feel free to voice your opinions here if you think it will help sway the committee one way or the other.

QUARTZ(25) vs (190)PRINCE

Well ... not much to be said here, as the score says it all.

 

Ummmmm … oh, I know: so, I don’t know if it was intentional or just pure luck, but when Bray ran out of Revs he utilized the tactic of hitting a move with a very long animation. When the animation finally ended, you guessed it, he had one Rev back on the board. Clever girl.

DATURAS(150) vs (375)BLAINE

Blaine simply wore Daturas down to a husk of her former self during this match. It starts off like an evenly skilled match, but as it progressed, it was clear to see that Blaine was just playing on a different level.

 

Blaine was just hitting so many combinations and never really let Daturas gain any momentum. Daturas even handicapped herself at one point --resetting prematurely. Near the end, Blaine felt so confident in the ring she took the time to simply drag Daturas to the turnbuckles a few times like she was about to punish her cats for scratching the couch.

 

Very impressive display by Blaine, our Women’s Champion. I sure as heck wouldn’t want to fight her, and I love fighting women ... ( >.<)
