I apologize that you guys feel like KD is doing this stuff on purpose. Sometimes perception isn’t always what the case. KD is my tag partner and a partner for a reason. His integrity and love for the game is something we both share. We all know KDs weakness is keeping up with the rules on the site and it’s my duty as a partner to keep him up to par and I haven’t.

There were a couple of revisions and new language he didn’t know about cause again I didn’t keep him up to par. So please don’t paint KD as a rule breaker cause he isn’t.

Him and I are very aggressive handlers when it comes to our caws and this year 2k is MAKING us defensive players which doesn’t fit our playstyle. Take me for an example, it took me almost a half a season to get it together cause I never do dms and now I’m starting to so that I can get comfortable being passive and also to let KD know the dos and don’ts.

The fact that Quartz made this post highlights how bad things have gotten.

Ehhh... I mean people weren't exactly doing these break downs like this to illustrate just how many were taking place on a card. Early in the season my matches were good for at least 2 or 3 crapples.

It's also kinda dumb to say "how bad its gotten" for a rule that isn't even a year old. Is that really enough time to constitute some hyperbolic point about a quality descent?

His response might be prompted by this event, but the history of it extends far past these occurrences. Plus these crapple rules may have only existed for a short time but they have been frowned upon longer than that. To me this post also showcases a deeper issue with the perception of OCW. People want to win because we a comp league. Older generations want to remind us that we are a hybrid league. So there is a disconnect there. We value winning so much that how many go about winning is causing us to reevaluate at what cost is it worth. Hence the reason this rule was created.

I will speak to the latter part since I am no FPR officer.

Regardless if it effected the outcome of the match or not, breaking FPR is not ok. And "effecting the outcome" should not be involved in the reasoning towards an FPR break. You may try and use wording and what not to get in favor with the new crop of talent we have here now. But you know, I know and a host of other here know what you are capable of and we all are not here for your BS. I've seen it, I've live it. You have gotten a second chance. So please don't resort back to your old ways. This is not the time nor the place for that horseshit.

Don't take what I'm saying out of context, oh you set me up for that one!

I didn't say the FPR break was okay since it didn't affect the outcome, I was just saying that your comment was off base. There was no barrage of crappling, one crapple isn't a barrage and I don't think it cost Joop the match.

I also feel the need to point out Dane's bullshit response in this thread that he "realized it right away and reset". Well, you definitely didn't realize it right away, I had to tell you in PMs and you first didn't know you did it, then your response was that the game "made you walk away" instead of just accepting it and moving on.

I understand you are coming from familiarity of adjusted rules, so I don't mind the crapple, because I agree, I still could have won despite it... but what annoys me is you lying in a thread trying to save your ass. Bad look for you.

Maybe you're taking things out of context too or maybe you're misunderstood. When you had mentioned to me about the crapple after the match, I honestly couldn't remember so I brought up that maybe it was a moment where your character pushed me away from being too close. After rewatching it back I remembered my thought process and realized my crapple in the back of my mind but was already focused on the next step.

I don't need to save my ass, I just came back after 8 years so there's obviously going to be minor issues at first and I've already been told it's no big deal.

I'm happy to be back here and I'm grateful for the opportunity, but I'm an adult now, I'm too old for bullshit. I lied about batteries and couldn't take a little ribbing when I was an immature teen but I'm 31 now and this is a basic rule, honestly one of the rules I came back here for because Mayhem is a bitch and can't handle being called out on bullshit tactics.

You lied about more than batteries.

For a long time I hoped you'd get back here because of your work load, I respect that, and whilst I expected everything you say to be under scrutiny from the start I didn't expect you to already have lied to Jake.

I love that guy, and you've already taken a massive shit on his trust. He's the most enthusiastic OCW guy of all time and here you are, getting on his bad side from match one.

I'm not sure who you are.

I didn't lie, I just hadn't recalled the moment at the time he confronted me about it. I didn't recall until I saw it on Riot.

Consider the source you're talking to here, I can probably count my OCW wins on one hand and I'm the case study in getting a character over and being a major player without having the W's to back it up, and consider the source you're speaking about, KD has been here longer than virtually anyone. KD was probably in Jay's house playing wrestling games before Jay lived there.
